When it was almost their turn, a guard walked over and asked, "Captain Wei, the Vice Commander invited you to his office. Please follow me."

Half an hour later, Wei Yunli was standing outside Wen Hanli’s office. After the secretary knocked on the door, she opened it and gestured for her to enter.

After entering, the secretary said, "Vice Commander, Captain Wei is here."

Wen Hanli raised his head from the documents and said, "Captain Wei, please have a seat."

The secretary led her to the couch before leaving the office. Not long after Wei Yunli sat down, the secretary returned with a tray carrying 2 cups of tea.

5 minutes later, Wen Hanli finally signed the document. He picked up a folder and walked to the couch. He sat across from her and said, "Captain Wei, I’m sorry for inviting you to my office so suddenly."

Looking at the young man in front of her, Wei Yunli smiled and replied, "Vice Commander, I wonder why you invited me here? Do you need anything?"

Wen Hanli placed the folder in front of her and said, "Captain Wei, I’m sure you have heard about the Green Lake Base."

Wei Yunli had heard about the newly established base. She nodded and replied, "I heard the rumors about it. People said that the Green Lake Base was established by the Phantom Team and co-managed with our base."

"The Green Lake Base is indeed established by the Phantom Team, but they didn’t plan to manage it. So, our team will be fully responsible for managing the base, and they will only take 10% of the base’s annual income."

Hearing this, Wei Yunli asked, "Vice Commander, why did you tell me this?"

Wen Hanli smiled and said, "Captain Wei, I have investigated your background and team. Out of thousands of people, I think you are the most suitable to become the Green Lake Base’s Vice Commander."

As soon as she heard this, Wei Yunli frowned and said, "Vice Commander, I’m not interested in this position. Right now, I only want to lead my team to live a better life."

"Captain Wei, why don’t you take a look at this first before you make your decision?" Wen Hanli said as he tapped the folder with his fingers.
