Chapter 2063: Starting a War (2)
Tang Shaoyang was disappointed deep down because they kept running away from him. They kept calling him a newcomer, so he hoped they would give him a good fight. However, despite four against one, they didn’t try to fight him.
"Maybe I should ask my spirits to leave more people to fight. The Emperor can give me more challenge than four of you," He could not help but express his disappointment.
He dashed toward Rados, swinging his battle axe down toward the man. The latter was late to react. He had no choice but to bring his short sword up, clashing against the battle axe.
Rados could feel the overwhelming force from the swing that sent him down to the ground. It went with a boom. He felt his body was getting crushed by an overwhelming force. He felt the pain in his bones and organs. That was just a normal clash, but it hurt more than he thought.
Rados immediately got back on his feet. After a few seconds of deep breathing, he felt better. He glanced at his left arm, where a stump appeared. This truly confirmed his guess that there was something that affected his natural regeneration.
’I guess I have to fight with just one hand...’ He was still breathing heavily. He felt much better, but the impact from the early clash left him in shock, not just his mind, but his body as well. ’I have to last until everyone comes back...’
The thought of Tang Shaoyang’s summons killing his comrades crossed his mind, but he still believed those summons were not as strong as the summoner. They should be able to defeat the summons and aid him. With that in mind, Rados was determined to fight, to survive, not to win or kill Tang Shaoyang. He changed his mindset to survive instead of killing.
Tang Shaoyang landed in front of him with a boom; the ground was shaking upon his arrival as cracks spread out. The grin on his face left a deep impression on Rados. The fact that Tang Shaoyang was ablaze in the black flame amplified that effect on him.
Tang Shaoyang took one big step forward and swung his sword. It was pure slash, not reinforced with any skills. He expected Rados to escape from him again, but Rados decided to clash with his sword. The assassin reflected the sword and redirected it upward. With his nimble movement, he swirled to the side and aimed his sword at the neck.
Tang Shaoyang raised his battle axe and blocked the sword with the surface of his axe. The sword bounced off as he spun around, landing a spinning kick on Rados’ belly.
The kick landed on Rados, but he felt like he was kicked by a strong steel slate. Rados’ green flame body blazed fiercely as he slid backward for seven meters. He felt his organs shake from that kick, but it was not that terrible compared to their first contact.
"This is it, Rados. Give me a fight! You will die in vain if you keep running away, and you will have a chance to win if you try to fight!"
Rados didn’t have the same confidence as before about winning, but he was confident at stall time, stalling until his friends returned. For some reason, this helped him to calm down.
Tang Shaoyang once more appeared in front of him, so fast that it almost tricked his eyes. It was not skill, just pure speed. Once more, he was faced with the battle axe that came from above. Instead of blocking with his sword, he formed a shield with his green flame. He formed three layers of shield.
As he expected, the first shield broke apart right away, followed by the second shield, but his third shield completely stopped the battle axe. Then three giant scythes made of green flame formed behind. The scythe swung down at Tang Shaoyang’s back.
Rados knew that this was far from enough, but to his surprise, the three scythes hit Tang Shaoyang’s back. To his shock, he didn’t see blood. It was just Tang Shaoyang’s figure blurred, faded as the three scythes passed.
"Oh, fuck!"
The three scythes swung at his chest, his shock causing his late reaction. He could not dodge these scythes anymore, but he could make them disappear as it was part of his skill. The three scythes disappeared a few inches from his chest. He managed to disperse his own skill. It would be tragic if he died by his own skill.
That was when he realized that he had made another big mistake. He kept making mistakes while fighting Tang Shaoyang. He was so focused on his own skills that he failed to track Tang Shaoyang. That was when he sensed a piercing pain in his chest. His eyes widened because he saw his own heart beating in front of him.
The fact that he could maintain his consciousness amazed him. However, he knew that he would die soon. He released the sword from his hand and held Tang Shaoyang’s hand that was holding his heart.
"NOW!" Rados screamed, "I will hold him down! Get him now! ARTHUR! CARTER!"
Right after he screamed, two figures appeared above him and Tang Shaoyang. Arthur and Carter would not let the opportunity created by Rados’ life be wasted. Even if they could not kill Tang Shaoyang with one attack, they hoped to cause a severe wound on Tang Shaoyang.
"Nice try!" Rados heard Tang Shaoyang’s voice, which made him uneasy. That was when he realized that he could no longer feel his right hand. That was when he saw his right hand fly into the air.’
That was right, he was holding Tang Shaoyang’s right hand. What stopped the other hand from cutting his last hand? The answer was nothing. His body spun around as Tang Shaoyang pulled his hand out of the chest. That was when he saw a golden palm formed in front of Tang Shaoyang, sending Arthur and Carter flying.
It was laughable for him to think he could stall for time until his friends returned. In the last moment of his life, he realized that the new Executive Administrator might not be that much different than the current Executive Administrator. Those scary lunatics were beyond their level.

"Again, he keeps underestimating me, which led to his death," Tang Shaoyang muttered in a low voice, disappointed. He thought Rados might fight back for a while, but it was another disappointing fight.
He looked up where Arthur and Carter were. They disappeared again from his sight, running away the moment they had the chance to. It was clear that they didn’t intend to fight him head-on, or maybe they would lie low, thinking their friends would return to help him.
"Come on, guys. Fight me. I think one of the top factions in the God Realm would be something else, but you guys are not that much, huh?" That was a genuine disappointment in his tone, also trying to taunt them, hoping they would come out to fight him.
Clementine and Arion kept reminding him about the Shadow Star being part of the Ten Stars Accord. This Ten Stars Accord ws apparently on the same level of power as that of the Ancient Kingdom, the Hurakan Kingdom, and the God Order.
He had some expectations from the Shadow Star, but they failed to put up a fight against him. Just like that, he was standing by himself. The remaining two people gave up fighting him.
