After having dinner at the Cheng family, Cheng Su finally took Xiao Qi home, where it was lively as well, because her sister-in-law Qi Fengping had also flown in.

Even though Qi Taiguo mentioned the station was crowded, telling Cheng Su it wasn’t necessary to pick him up as he could take the bus back himself, Cheng Su, anxious to see her husband, left Qi Xiaoqi at home with her sister-in-law to look after him and dressed beautifully to go to the station to pick him up.

Standing at the exit, Cheng Su looked around eagerly, occasionally looking at travelers coming out with their luggage, her heart pounding like a girl in first love.

"Cheng Su, you’re a mother now, can’t you be more mature?" Cheng Su pressed her heart, pretending to be annoyed with herself, but the corner of her mouth was raised high.

Qi Taiguo stepped off the bus carrying a military backpack and spotted Cheng Su rubbing her hands, breathing warm air, and stomping her feet, looking in his direction.

"You’re such a naughty little rascal!" Qi Taiguo laughed and cursed, but his heart was exceedingly warm as he hurried towards her.

He wasn’t in uniform but wore casual attire, looking tall and handsome. Cheng Su saw him and immediately beamed, waving her hand while running over.

Qi Taiguo caught her, lifted her up and then put her down, then firmly held her face and kissed her, drawing the attention of others.

Cheng Su already had makeup on, and now her cheeks got even warmer and redder, her heart filled with sweetness, and her smile turning sweeter.

"I told you it’s crowded and cold, and asked you not to come. Why didn’t you listen?" Qi Taiguo lightly pinched her cheek, scolding.

"I just wanted to see you sooner!" Cheng Su pursed her lips at him, pretending to be disdainful: "How did you get so much darker again?"

Darker than the last time they met.

"The sea wind and intense UV rays, plus a few missions." Qi Taiguo replied with a sentence, then returned to the previous topic: "Even if you wanted to see me, you could’ve waited; look how cold your face has become."

He adjusted her scarf around her face, touched her hand, and said: "Why aren’t you wearing gloves? You’re not taking good care of yourself!"

"You’re like a mother hen, nagging right after we meet." Cheng Su held his arm and said: "Let’s hurry, let’s go home."

"Feeling itchy, huh? Complaining about my long-windedness?" Qi Taiguo put his arm around her shoulder, walked forward, and whispered by her ear: "Watch out for your little butt tonight!"

"You’re so annoying!" Cheng Su blushed and chided him.

Qi Taiguo burst into laughter, indulgently and lovingly pinched her cheek: "You know, I like you just like this!"

"You’re so improper, come on, the family’s waiting!" Cheng Su scolded.

"Yes, let’s go home!" Qi Taiguo held her hand, interlocked fingers, and they left the bus station together, heading home.
