Understanding full well that there would be no way for them to escape from a demon beast in the Star Creation Realm. Especially considering that they were still at least a day away from reaching the edge of the Verdant Abyss.

The only ones who didn’t immediately fall into despair were the few who still had trump cards up their sleeves for escaping, though most of the cultivators below the Land Creation Realm were left without any way to realistically escape.

Boosting their speed by burning part of their lifespan might have worked originally for some of them now that they weren’t that far from reaching the edge of the Verdant Abyss, but now that a Star Creation Realm demon beast was also involved, it would be impossible for them to escape.

After all, even though it wouldn’t reach them immediately, it should be able to catch up to them a few hours before they could see the edge of the Verdant Abyss.

The sheer quantity and uniqueness of the methods used by the powerful cultivators now ahead of him were eye opening and at the same time also made him understand that the one who had been chasing him in the past had never gone all out against him.

Even if he didn’t end up being forced into the abyss at the core of the Verdant Abyss, the location he ended up might have an active Star Creation Realm demon beast rampaging. Meaning he would inevitably be forced to use the Dao of Space to send himself into the abyss.

The problem was... He didn’t have any way to catch up with the group of cultivators ahead.

Well... almost no way, as he could still drop Huo Fen and Meng Jie. In which case his speed should he be able to catch up with the group up ahead.

Narrowing both his eyes as he thought this to himself while glancing down at the master disciple pair shaking in fear as they looked back towards the horde of demon beasts chasing them from behind, Xuan Hao separated a small part of his divine sense to look through his personal interspatial ring where he kept his most important items to see if he could find anything that would be able to help him in getting out of his current situation.

Let’s see... The small token Shu Yao gave me in the past... A book about cultivation realms, a book on formations, another book... A sword technique... Ahh! Why is everything in my interspatial ring books or techniques!?

As his divine sense swept through his personal interspatial ring where he kept his most important things stored, Xuan Hao could not help lamenting to himself as he suddenly realized that there wasn’t anything inside the interspatial ring that would help him get out of his current situation, it was mostly just a stack of ancient books, records and techniques he had gathered over the years. Nothing like the trump cards that those ahead of him had used.

Although he did want to take another look at these ancient notes now that his understanding of several different Daos had improved, he also understood that now wasn’t exactly the time to start trying to decipher the ancient notes.

What he needed was a way to further increase his speed that didn’t involve him dropping Huo Fen and Meng Jie to their death.

Drawing it into the sky above, easily bypassing the spatial formation before moving past the sky above the Eastern Central Region. Ascending to a realm far beyond the Ewaria Continent.

What... What is this? Where is this? What about my body?!

Having only felt his soul suddenly leaving his body before coming to an abrupt stop, Xuan Hao could not help panicking as he understood full well what would happen to his body now that his soul had been forcibly pulled out of it!
