Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1864 A Short Break

Chapter 1864  A Short Break

Having returned back to his cultivation after having thrown his little troublemaker disciple out of his cultivation room alongside her friend, Xuan Hao wasn't entirely unaware of the situation that was playing out just outside the now closed door to his cultivation room and even though he was confident in the toughness of the Seventh Star Peak, he had a feeling that this troublesome little disciple would indeed find a way to somehow create some kind of artifact to dig through it like she had said before she had run off.

Interested as he might be in a formation that could potentially increase the quality of the qi springs hidden away inside the Qi Spring Lake, he also felt worried that she might end up destroying them in the process, something that would directly harm the foundation of the sect.

Because of this, to ensure that nothing ended up going wrong, he decided to inform Elder Song about the situation and have him secretly watch over the two and ensure that they wouldn't cause any damage to the qi springs. After all, he understood full well that there was no way to stop this little troublemaker after she first set her mind on something.

Not to mention, from all he had gone through related to Mui's creations, it seemed like Elder Song had managed to cultivate a good sense for when something would blow up and when it would end up not blowing up.

With him around, he should be able to ensure that the troublemaker disciple and her sidekick didn't end up causing any serious damage or problems for the sect.

Not knowing what else to do in this kind of situation, Xuan Hao decided not to think about it any longer, the situation was truly in the hands of Elder Song now and he wouldn't interfere unless something truly disastrous ended up happening.

Going back to cultivation again- or more specifically, refining the Stardusk Essence he had managed to get his hands on inside the ancient alchemy sect ruins into his spiritual sea to continue expanding it.

For now, his focus wasn't so much on comprehending the dao to help stabilize his spiritual sea for the future breakthrough to the Peak of the Sea Formation Realm, but was more so just about increasing his own strength through the expansion of his spiritual sea while dedicating a minimal effort towards comprehending the Dao of Formations on the side with the help of the Saint Realm Formation Master Inheritance that he had obtained from the system with the hope of breaking through to the Saint Realm himself and officially step into the Perfection Realm in the Dao of Formations.

Of course, it wasn't his core focus, as he found himself far more interested in finding out how much he would be able to expand his spiritual sea with his current comprehension of all kinds of different Daos. The main sect quest that he had originally planned to focus on completing after returning to the sect had momentarily been thrown to the back of his mind as he also took the opportunity while refining Stardusk Essence to relax and take a short break after returning to the sect.

Then again, it wasn't exactly a break so to speak, but it was indeed a far more relaxing time compared to what he was used to, as he didn't have to use much of anything when it came to refining Stardusk Essence and using it to expand the size of his spiritual sea. The entire task slowly becoming familiar enough that he could do it while sleeping after a few days. Not in the literal sense, but still, it made it easy for him to do whatever he wanted while also expanding his spiritual sea

In a way, this allowed him to proceed with his original goal of helping the sect reach the requirements given by the main sect quest. Spending the next few weeks quietly in the sect helping disciples and elders alike without any restrictions or requirements for whom he would help, one of the most eager disciples being none other than his own third disciple, Bai Ning, who had no one else to ask for help when it came to the Dao of Blacksmithing, as it seemed Gong Cheng had entered seclusion to focus on refining a weapon.

But outside of his own disciple, there was also an especially talented disciple that he had guided only once during this period of time that had somehow managed to break through to the Domain Lord Relam at a terrifying speed that was almost comparable to the cultivation speed of his own disciples.

This person was a disciple he only had a little memory of called Lu Wen, who was also the personal disciple of Wang Hu.

To be honest, he didn't know if it was a blessing or a curse for Wang Hu to have picked up such a talented disciple, as this little disciple of his was about to overtake him. After all, as one of the original elders from the Flying Sword Sect before the establishment of the Star Shattering Sect, his cultivation realm wasn't especially high among the current elders of the sect and although he had broken through to the Domain Lord Realm, he had only reached the Third Stage of the Domain Lord Realm and found himself stuck at the bottleneck that separated what could be considered the Early Stage of the Domain Lord Realm from the Middle Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

All that aside, he himself was happy with the sect gaining another Domain Lord Realm disciple faster than he had originally anticipated, though he didn't think it would be that simple to cultivate another four Domain Lord Realm disciples over the next few years.

The most promising he could think of being Yi Xuan, the personal disciple of the now local lotus farmer Zu Fei, Fang Yu, whom he considered taking on as a potential sixth disciple and Song Jia, who should be able to reach the Domain Lord Realm with the rapid increase in strength that she experienced by following behind Mui.

But outside of these three, he couldn't think of a fourth that had the potential to reach the Domain Lord Realm in the next few years. Meaning he might have to find a talented new disciple for the sect outside.

However, given that he had only been back at the sect for a few weeks by this point, he didn't have any plans of leaving the sect in the short term, so that would have to be something for later, as he would first have to see if there was any especially talented disciples in the sect that he just didn't know about yet.

"Wait… Isn't there that child who was the reincarnation of a great power? Could he perhaps break through to the Domain Lord Realm over the next year or two…?"

Suddenly remembering Jiang Chen, the reincarnation of a Great Power that he had seen enter the sect in the past, Xuan Hao realized that there might be a way for him to complete the main sect quest without having to leave the sect like he had originally believed he might be forced to.

Although he doubted this reincarnated senior would willingly expose himself and increase his cultivation from having little to no cultivation all the way up to the Domain Lord Realm over such a short period of time, there was a chance that this senior would secretly be increasing his cultivation while outwardly displaying a weaker cultivation base.

To him, it wouldn't really matter if the other party hid their cultivation realm, if they reached the Domain Lord Realm it would count towards the main sect quest being completed.

But… In case this reincarnated senior didn't breakthrough to the Domain Lord Realm secretly and no surprise talents like Lu Wen emerged, he might still be forced to go outside and look for a talented disciple.

At least for now, the remaining three requirements left for the main sect quest were progress well…

[Core Formation Realm Disciples: 9794/10.000] [Nascent Soul Realm Disciples: 67/100] [Domain Lord Realm Disciples: 6/10] [Soul Ascension Realm Elders: 81/100]

Among them, the Core Formation Realm section looked like it might be completed in another week, as Core Formation Realm disciples had truly started to become abundant over the past few months, with countless disciples who had previously been in the Foundation Establishment Realm taking full advantage of the large number of Domain Lord Realm and Soul Ascension Realm Elders that were now present.

As the increase in Soul Ascension Realm Elders… That was simply the abundant resources of the sect assisting the different Domain Lord Realm cultivators who had been recruited by the sect to break through to the Soul Ascension Realm.

Unfortunately when it came to sect elders, the ones from the Star Shattering Sect were still somewhat lacking, with most lingering around the first three stages of the Domain Lord Realm with a few having reached the fourth and fifth stage of the Domain Lord Realm and only handful having reached the Sixth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm and even fewer managing to reach the Seventh Stage of the Domain Lord Realm and officially reach the Late Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

In the end, the Star Shattering Sect's old elders were still some distance away from breaking through to the Soul Ascension Realm, though… The increasingly abundant resources and excellent cultivation environment and presence of far stronger cultivators to guide them did make their progress through the Domain Lord Realm far easier than others with a clear path for them to follow.
