Death… And Me

Chapter 4079: Just Outside

Chapter 4079: Just Outside

Rean took out a vial with a pill from the Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm, passing it to Pala with a bunch of Divine Stones. "Pala, when you get back to your clan, please send these items back to A1’s Zentian Empire. My contact there already knows you are sending it over. The Divine Stones should be more than enough to pay for the usage of the Great Void Shifter."

Pala took the pill, curious about its effect. However, he absolutely wouldn’t try anything now that he got his slot to BH1. "Consider it done."

Back in the Werdlem Universe, Gin Werdlem finally got some information about who he was looking for. "Are you certain? Which Great Void Black Hole did she appear at?"

"It wasn’t in a Great Void Black Hole, sir," his subordinate explained. "We got her energy signature during the teleportation to Universe C44. There is no Great Void Black Hole in that region."

Gin narrowed his eyes, taking his subordinate’s CD and checking the information. Gin was the guy who imprisoned Toxa, and Toxa was the expert who imprisoned Havira for her Vial of God Blood. Gin had been looking for Havira ever since then. It’s just that, other than Toxa, no one knew what Gin wanted from Havira.

"Should we send a message to C44 to capture her, sir?" His subordinate asked.

Gin thought for a moment. Havira was in a Rank C Universe, so Gin could not ask for a Celestial to capture her. Even worse, he couldn’t risk it even if he could send a Celestial there. If anyone else found out about the Vial of God Blood, Gin most likely wouldn’t be able to acquire it. Other members of the Werdlem Imperial Family would jump into the fray to try to get it for themselves.

"No," Gin shook his head. "Get me Salazar, Jary, and Suvana. Tell them to meet me at the Great Void Shifters. We are going to C44 ourselves." The three names he mentioned were experts being controlled through the Werdlem Network, just like the experts of the Inquisition Hall back in F956. There was no risk of any of them betraying Gin.

Still, his subordinate couldn’t help but warn Gin. "But, sir, that is a Rank C Universe. None of you will be able to enter it since you are all Celestials."

"I’ll use the Celestial Suppressors," Gin intervened.

Only the members of the Imperial Family or those related to them had access to those treasures. That’s because the Celestial Suppressors were not crafted here, but in the Celestial Plane. They weren’t exactly expensive themselves, but they definitely were expensive to send down.

That said, even in the Werdlem Imperial Family, they were rarely used. If you did use them, you’d better have a good excuse. Some might use it to enter some realms with cultivation level limits, for example. However, Gin intended to use them to enter C44 to go after Havira.

"Will that be okay?" His subordinate asked, concerned. He was responsible for tending to Gin, like a butler.

Gin was adamant, though. "I can think of an excuse later. I just can’t let her escape. Make sure to keep an eye on the Shifters from C44. If you find her energy trying to shift somewhere else, block it using my name. Just make sure you reveal no information regarding Havira to anyone."

Meanwhile, with Pala’s help, the twins’ group arrived at the blocked area of the Universe. It was invisible, but in front of them, there were a bunch of formations that extended for several light-years of distance. This was at the very border of the Universe, making one wonder why it was here at all. If the idea was to protect from the outside, why only this part? It didn’t make sense.

Pala looked ahead, taking a deep breath before taking out a purple item from his pocket in the dimensional realm. He threw it forward. Following that, he drew various runes with his hands and Divine Origin Energy in midspace.

The item and the runes seemed to interact with each other. Then, the item shone with a purple light, which shot forward. In a matter of seconds, it hit some kind of barrier and soon passed through. Now, the twins’ group could see an opening in the formation. "That’s the first one. Let’s go."

They passed through the passage before Pala recovered that purple item. Then, a Spatial Gate was opened, and they left for the second barrier. There were vast distances between each formation, so other than stopping to open the passages, the journey now was only possible with Spatial Gates.

The same process was repeated another five times, always opening a passage on formations with that purple item. Then, they came out of the Spatial Gate for the last time.

"Friends," Pala pointed forward. "That is the last formation my Zizinda Clan can open. Further ahead, you will find other formations that are not managed by us. We have no idea who it is either. As mentioned before, you can only count on yourselves from now on. Is there anything else you need from me?"

"Can we have one of these purple tokens of yours to make our way back?" Kentucky asked.

Pala nodded, taking another one of those items and throwing it to Kentucky. "It is easier to leave than it is to enter. Just pour your Divine Origin Energy inside, and an exit should open on the formations on your way back. Can I help with anything else?"

Hick shook his head in response. "This is enough for us, Pala. You did a great job, as expected. I can see why your Universe Owner asked you to help us."

Pala bowed. "I’m happy I was useful. In that case, I’ll take my leave." Pala wanted nothing more than to return to the clan’s Great Void Shifter and go to the Werdlem Universe straight away.

They bid farewell to each other, and Pala left, leaving the twins’ group past the last barrier in the Zizinda Clan’s control.

Rean, Kentucky, and Havira looked at Hick. "So, what now?"

"What else?" Hick shrugged. "We have to find a way through the last formations. My body is being held just outside the Universe."
