Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100

Chapter 2012: A Sneak Attack!

Chapter 2012: A Sneak Attack!

The next instant, Max thrust his dragon claws forward.

Puchi!

His claws pierced through Raghor’s chest and came out through his back.

The battlefield fell silent. The devil’s eyes bulged. The law manifestation behind him shattered before it could fully take shape. The devil furnace collapsed into black sparks, the crimson chains dissolved into smoke, and the dark flames around his body died out like candles caught in a storm.

Raghor stared at Max in disbelief, as if he still couldn’t understand how the battle had ended before it had really begun.

Max pulled his claws out. Raghor’s body fell from the air and crashed onto the battlefield.

The blue void ring returned to Max’s side, rotating silently beside his shoulder.

The massive devil didn’t move again. He was dead.. A devil at the 5th level of the Law Manifestation Realm had been killed in a single exchange.

For a moment, no one spoke. The leaders of the Divine Realm stared at Max with different reactions. Some looked shocked. Some looked thoughtful. Some looked pleased. Garron Aresvale of the War God Palace laughed loudly, his voice full of fierce satisfaction.

Celian Voss of the Sword God Palace looked at the void ring with a rare trace of interest. High Lord Astren Vale’s nine stars rotated faster behind him, as if his calculations had just shifted. Even the Four Sacred Clans fell into a deep silence, their gazes fixed on Max with complicated emotions.

The nine geniuses reacted too. Orion’s eyes shone with excitement. Damian’s expression grew even more serious. Ervin let out a soft breath, while Morgana smiled like she’d just watched something extremely entertaining. Revona stared at Max without a word, but her eyes carried a depth that hadn’t been there before.

Saint Reiner slowly unclenched his fist. A faint smile crossed the old saint’s face.

"Good," he muttered.

Max didn’t look at the fallen devil. He raised his head and looked at Varok.

"Are you happy now?"

His voice came out calm. There was no arrogance in it. That only made the humiliation worse.

Varok’s expression had gone completely dark. The mockery on his face was gone. The amusement was gone. Even the earlier arrogance that had filled his eyes had faded, replaced by something far colder and more dangerous. He stared at Raghor’s corpse, then slowly shifted his gaze back to Max.

A devil from his camp had been killed. And not after a long battle, but in an instant. The Divine Realm’s side hadn’t just defended its dignity. Max had crushed the trap Varok set and turned it right back on him, in front of every major force present.

But that wasn’t what truly disturbed Varok. What truly disturbed him was Max himself.

Varok’s eyes narrowed as he stared at the blue void ring floating beside Max.

’A 1st level Law Manifestation Realm cultivator sealed Raghor before he could even react. His body strength is abnormal. His bloodline aura runs layered. Dragon power, Primordial power, sealing power colder than ordinary law. This isn’t a normal genius.’

His expression stayed dark, but his thoughts raced.

’The Primordial Race has produced a rare monster.’

Varok’s gaze turned even more vicious.

’No. Not just rare. Dangerous.’

He’d seen plenty of geniuses in the Devil Universe. Some had terrifying bloodlines. Some had monstrous bodies. Some were blessed by Primal Treasures. Some could cross realms and slaughter enemies stronger than themselves.

But Max was different. His realm sat low, yet his foundation felt impossibly dense. His powers weren’t scattered like a kid collecting treasures. They were beginning to fuse into a real combat system, one that could threaten beings far above him.

If someone like Max was allowed to grow, he’d become a problem. Not just for Varok. For the entire Devil Race.

’If he reaches the Divine Lord Realm, ordinary young devils might not be able to touch him. If he reaches the Divine King Realm, he could become a real obstacle in the coming war. If he lives long enough to mature, he might turn into one of the blades that cuts straight into our invasion.’

A cold decision formed in Varok’s heart.

’He cannot be allowed to grow.’

The Pearl of Abyss shifted beneath his sleeve. It had stayed quiet until now, hidden under his aura and the pressure of the devils around him. But the moment Varok made his decision, a dark pulse flowed from the pearl into his palm.

Varok’s face stayed still. No one saw him raise his hand. No one heard him chant. The Pearl of Abyss didn’t need such obvious movements.

A thin black line appeared behind Max. It was almost invisible. It didn’t tear open space violently. It simply appeared, as if a piece of reality had quietly been erased. From that erased line, an abyssal spike emerged, silent and cold, carrying a power that didn’t belong to ordinary law.

The spike moved toward the back of Max’s head. Fast. Silent. Deadly.

Max’s eyes changed. At the last moment, a warning exploded inside his senses. His Dimensional Sovereign Body trembled. His Primordial Bloodline and Voidwalker bloodline pulsed violently.

’Danger.’

The attack was already behind him. Max didn’t try to block it. He knew instantly this wasn’t something he should take head-on. The aura carried by the abyssal spike felt too strange. It didn’t feel like a normal attack from Varok.

It felt deeper, colder, and far more ancient, like it had come from a darkness that existed before worlds were even separated.

Pearl of Abyss.

The realization flashed through Max’s mind.

Without hesitation, Max activated the entrance to the Dimension of Time. His figure blurred. The abyssal spike pierced forward, but just before it touched him, Max disappeared. The attack passed through the space where he’d stood and struck empty air.

For one breath, the council domain froze. Then the entire sky erupted.

"Varok!"

Arvantos’s voice thundered through the council domain.

The four Primarchs moved at the same time. Arvantos appeared above the battlefield, his golden primordial aura spreading across the sky like a vast divine curtain.

Eryndor stepped to his left, his bronze-gold body releasing crushing physical pressure that made the air collapse layer by layer. Lysandra appeared to his right, silver-gold runes flowing around her as she locked onto every trace of abyssal energy in the area. Veyrion appeared behind them, and the space around the battlefield folded into countless invisible barriers.

In an instant, the four Primarchs formed a defensive formation. They didn’t attack right away. They stayed wary. Not of Varok himself. Of the Pearl of Abyss.

A Primal Treasure couldn’t be treated casually. Even with their strength, they couldn’t assume suppressing Varok would come easy while he held one of the five Primal Treasures.

If the Pearl of Abyss erupted fully inside the Primordial Ancestral Domain, the consequences might go beyond even what they could predict.

The leaders of the top first-rate forces reacted too. Garron Aresvale’s battle aura exploded like a war sun. Celian Voss’s sword intent filled the sky. Astren Vale’s nine stars formed a calculation array behind him. Seraphis Kael raised one hand, and the Stellar Templar instantly locked into a battle formation.

Queen Selene Lunaris summoned a pale moon barrier. Lord Vael Noxis distorted the void near the devils. Hall Master Orin Caldus opened an ancient law scroll that released sealing light.

The Four Sacred Clans released their auras too. For a moment, the devils found themselves surrounded by the full pressure of the Divine Realm’s peak forces.

Varok stood at the center of that pressure. His face had gone pale. A thin line of dark blood slid from the corner of his mouth. The Pearl of Abyss hovered above his palm now, no longer fully hidden.

It looked like a small black pearl, smooth and bottomless, with faint rings of abyssal light rotating inside it. Looking at it felt like staring into a hole that led beneath reality itself.

Around the pearl, space didn’t crack. It sank. Light didn’t scatter. It disappeared. Laws didn’t break apart. They got swallowed into a depth that refused to reveal its limit.

This was the true terror of the Pearl of Abyss. It didn’t simply release destructive power. It opened a connection to the abyss itself. Any attack born from it could ignore many ordinary defenses, since it didn’t need to break through them the normal way.

It could erase a path through space, appear behind a target, bury itself inside their body, and drag their flesh, soul, bloodline, or laws into abyssal collapse. Used fully, it could open abyssal passages, hide traces from fate, devour surrounding energy, and blur the boundary between worlds.

It was a treasure capable of turning a single moment of carelessness into death.

But Varok wasn’t its true master. At least, not yet. His cultivation only sat at the Divine King Realm. That realm was already powerful by normal standards, but it wasn’t enough to freely control a Primal Treasure.

The Pearl of Abyss had answered him because of his bloodline, status, and preparation, but using it still came with a price. The moment the sneak attack failed, the backlash hit him.

Dark veins appeared along Varok’s wrist. The abyssal patterns crawled up his arm before slowly sinking back into his flesh. His aura turned unstable for a brief moment, and the devils behind him immediately stepped forward in alarm.

"Young master!"

Varok raised one hand, stopping them. His expression looked ugly. He’d paid the price, yet the attack had still failed. Max had escaped.

The spot where Max had stood now sat empty, but everyone knew he wasn’t dead. He’d vanished somewhere at the very last moment, dodging the Pearl of Abyss’s strike by a hair.
