The creature shrieked as its energy was sucked dry, its movements faltering until it went limp, hanging like a puppet caught in invisible strings.

Finally, a sharp tendril pierced its head, and its soul was destroyed.

An unknown Level Five Exalt Calamity was dispatched just like that.

During this time, Davis and Fairy Thunderblaze were nothing more than trembling passengers.

Their faces were pale as the pressure from both Rioxys Plume and the cat-like grasshopper Calamity was insane. They felt as though they were going to be crushed if it weren't for the Eternal Eclipse Bird's innate layer of protection surrounding them.

Rioxys Plume turned the Eternal Eclipse Bird around and headed to the dead Calamity. Once there, she summoned her tentacle-like tendrils again and pierced the Calamity's body. Then she split it raw and obtained the core and threw the blood essence into containers that she got from her spatial ring before throwing the dried-up corpse inside.

Her darkness ability seemed to be capable of devouring not only energy but power.

Davis felt she would be a good match for Mingzhi. However, Mingzhi already has Iris Serenity, was was titled Nightveil.

Rioxys Plume obediently handed over the treasures to Davis before returning to the flying seat.

Davis was speechless. He hadn't bothered to gather blood from the carcasses of the Calamities.

After all, blood essence from calamities was mostly poisonous in nature. The Eternal Eclipse Bird's blood essence also contained the plague. It was one categorizing factor that made them who they were. Otherwise, they would be considered Feral Magical Beasts.

Rioxys Plume killed it with a slow wave of her hands, crushing its entire body as the sea of darkness and tendrils encompassed it. The attack constricted the Calamity, bound it in a single place as the sea of darkness entered its body through the nostrils, and caused it to die by suffocation as its main core was restricted.

Another Calamity they encountered was an agile iguana-like creature that spat terrifying flames.

Again, Rioxys Plume, who was plenty powerful, had no trouble dealing with it.

Her sea of darkness combined with the tendrils to form a black maw that rapidly descended and ensnared the Calamity's head. The darkness grasped the creature's head and engulfed it into the maw, tearing it apart from the neck.

Fairy Thunderblaze was dumbfounded as she saw this once little spirit perform killing moves again and again.

What had those innocent-looking wives taught this spirit?
