Chapter 4819 An Anarchic Beacon
Chapter 4819 An Anarchic Beacon
However, Lucian and Nadia didn't disobey. They instantly shot towards the skies.
On the other hand, Kronos Alistair was a bit hesitant and reluctant. He felt he should approach some Celestial Body rather than do his tribulation in the Upper Realms. He couldn't help but ask.
"Why so soon?" But as he asked, he also ascended, knowing he might not have a second chance.
*Rumble!~*
A resounding thunder reverberated across the region, causing every living thing beneath it to feel an enormous amount of pressure and fear.
The heaven and earth churned as Nadia attempted to breakthrough in the southeast and Lucian attempted to breakthrough in the southwest of the island. He took the northern position, but as soon as they unleashed their energy and triggered a breakthrough, it was evident who among them was more anarchic than the other by the size of their tribulation cloud formation.
Nadia and Kronos Alistair were Anarchic Divergents, so their tribulation clouds were crimson.
On the other hand, Lucian was still only a Divergent, so his tribulation clouds were darker than usual.
The bright skies above darkened with three divergent undergoing tribulation at the same time.
In fact, Kronos Alistair's tribulation was bigger than the two that it overlapped with the others, and even showed signs of fusing. In this way, they might all undergo the same yet even more powerful tribulation. However, that was unlikely as this was something only normal people experienced.
Davis watched the crimson clouds expand across the horizon.
'Indeed, Kronos Alistair is a monster. Judging by the aura of this tribulation, it isn't comparable to my Immortal King Tribulation, but it is more powerful and more expansive. The number of Paragon Magical Beasts that would appear in his tribulation is most likely five or six.'
He turned around and looked at Nadia, imagining she would have two or three.
As for Lucian, he didn't have much karmic burden, and his physique only made him a Divergent. He wouldn't have a single Paragon Magical Beast show up for him, which was good.
Davis sighed, "Unfortunately, I feel an extreme sense of foreboding. Most likely, Nadija's call for help also cast a lot of gazes in this direction. It seems like Heaven's Warriors were already prepared for a beacon to light up from here to the Nether Dimension, or particularly, the bloodline of the Ghostly Crow Clan. Nyoran might be a variant, but her siblings and other relatives' blood still could work to track her down."
Lucian and the others went pale by this time, but Davis continued.
"It can't be helped since they already know about our forces in the Nether Dimension. My little sister Clara probably had something to do with it, or they have the help of terrifying figures in the Nether Dimension who have kept tabs on Nyoran's location, movements, or could even detect her uniqueness…"
Queen Nadija's knees felt weak. She collapsed, her knees hitting the ground squarely.
"I have sinned…" She let out a voice filled with despair, realizing she had implicated all of them when her intention was to help.
"Not really, for I would've asked you to contact them if I knew you could ask for Nyoran's help. Fortunately, we didn't light up a beacon in my new home. Fate has its way of screwing things over to what it was before- so although this was inevitable, it wasn't the worst."
Davis waved his hand, his sleeves fluttering amidst the breeze, his expression still calm and exuding boundless confidence.
Queen Nadija was momentarily taken aback before she bit her lips, "Your magnanimity is beyond what most could even perceive."
Davis didn't respond and turned to look up at Kronos Alistair, who appeared to feel some danger up and below.
"Kronos, you still didn't die?"
"Stop sacrificing me in your vision, dammit!"
Davis grinned, "Good."
He raised his hand and gathered annihilative heavenly lighting at the top of his hand.
"…!" Seeing this scene, Kronos Alistair's heart dropped.
"You- what are you doing…?"
Davis turned his head and cast a teasing look at him.
"Since you don't know, I guess I… you managed to survive the ordeal."
"Aiya! With so many dangers around, my knowledge encompassing the future events of our surroundings is extremely limited. You're relying on my physique too much!"
Kronos Alistair protested using soul transmission.
However, Davis just shook his head with a light smile.
"You're just one factor."
With his hand raised, Davis pointed his finger at the skies, his annihilative heavenly lightning condensing at the tip of his finger like a piercing sword.
"The most important factor is ultimately me."
*Bzzz!~*
The heavenly lightning bolt struck the skies, causing the heaven and earth to momentarily come to an abrupt stop before a terrifying pressure descended.
*RUMBLE!!!~*
Suddenly, the place where the bolt of annihilative heavenly lightning struck created a void, and countless clouds spewed out, instantly encompassing the skies and the horizon as though it lacked the concept of distance.
*Whoosh!~*
The three eyes of the storms of the three different Divergent tribulations abruptly came to a stop as they were forcefully devoured and engulfed by the terrifying tribulation that descended.
"What the…" Lucian's knees slammed into the air itself as though he had been struck by an invisible hammer as he looked above, his golden pupils reflecting the dark crimson clouds.
It almost appeared as though the world was collapsing in on itself, making him feel overwhelmed.
Nadia gasped heavily, wanting to flee but not.
Kronos Alistair's pupils contracted violently as his mind went into a spiral, "You've got to be kidding me…"
From the first time he heard about the Divine Emperor of Death, he had respected him and feared him, but for the first time ever, he knew what true fear was. His lips quivered. Facing his own tribulation, he felt like fleeing, but this... he just wanted to give up and die.
Above them, the dark crimson tribulation clouds continued to expand as though they were endless.
