Chapter 1082: Rudy's Memory Space

Vida sat by the chair next to the bathtub where she was closest to Rudy's head.

"Since Kaguya didn't explain the process to you, we will have to do it this way. First, forget everything. Stop thinking and focus on my voice only. You don't have to speak if you think it will distract you, but let's set a signal for yes and no. What is the easiest thing you can do while in this state?"

Vida waited for a few seconds for a reply, but after meeting with nothing but silence, Kaguya said, "Didn't you just ask him to not speak if it's distracting?"

After a moment, she got up and sat on the chair Vida was previously sitting on, while Vida had begun the session.

Visa was sitting on the floor mattress, and her hands were on Rudy's head. The tips of her fingers glowed in a blue hue as she rubbed them on the sides of Rudy's head.

"Okay, Rudy. Think about something that calms you down."

In the influence of magical anesthesia, Rudy had no control over his thoughts. His ability to think had weakened to the point that he wouldn't have been able to even utter a full sentence.

Since Vida had asked Rudy to think of something, he thought of sex. Perhaps it was what he wanted deep down, or it might just be the work of his super libido.

Out of all the moments he could have thought of, he recalled the time where Angelica had sucked him off the first time in the school's washroom.

Since Vida was now deeply connected with Rudy, she could see what Rudy was thinking of, and she was speechless.

'I have been doing this for the last five years of my career and I have never had a patient who thought about such a thing. Well, no need to worry about it. Whatever helps him calm down.'

Vida continued to explore Rudy's memories and couldn't find an end to it.

'What's happening? Why is there so much space in his memories? I need to find the end point and connect it with the start point to begin the process.'

Vida thought it would be disappointing to return after coming this far. It would still take the same amount of time for her to reach the start point again.

Vida gripped the blue thread tightly and went deeper into Rudy's memory space.

Kaguya didn't want to make a choice. She could possibly ruin Vida's progress by doing so.

'If I mess this up, I should bid farewell to my friendship with Vida. But… her life is more important to me than our friendship. I will wait for five more minutes.'

The time passed, and five minutes were about to end. Kaguya couldn't see any chances in the flame, but she could sense the blue flame slowly vanishing.
