Chapter 3087  Seed and Source

The Yin aura helped… for a bit. It let his senses reach the tree, but at the same time, it also changed the aura coming out of the tree, making it unusable.

Alex tried Yang aura next to see if he could do something with it, but there was nothing the Yang aura could do.

It would all be so easy if he could just bring the tree out and use it. But there was no way he was bringing the tree out. That would be quite stupid, considering how important it was.

Not that he even had a place to keep the tree once it came out.

Alex paused for a bit. "I don't have to bring the tree out, do I?" he thought. His senses returned to his Soul Space again, this time arriving right at the tree instead of starting somewhere else.

With some Yin, he could get past the burning aura of the tree and reach the tree itself. He could feel his senses burn up, his mind feeling the pain of his spiritual sense being actively destroyed.

He pulled back his spiritual sense but kept the opening to his Soul Space where it was. Suddenly, he could feel his chest burning up as heat and aura of the Yang tree escaped right out of his Soul Space, quickly increasing the temperature around him.

Alex caught the aura immediately and began funneling it through his meridians, trying to send it up to his mind where his Spiritual Sea lay.

Alex expected his body to burn up immediately, but something strange happened instead. The burning aura of the tree suddenly subsided as soon as it came into contact with his body, turning into a warm energy that had no trouble moving through his meridians.

Alex was taken aback by the sudden change and even worried if he had done something wrong. But the tree's aura had very clearly changed after coming into contact with his body.

Alex felt a strange connection to the tree now, as he felt its aura slowly fill his Spiritual Sea—a connection that seemed to go beyond just the fact that they both had bodies that primarily had to do with Yang.

At the same time, something else happened to his body that he could not have predicted. Deep within his Dantian, the Yang Source came alive, suddenly pushing against the barrier of his Dantian, quickly forcing energy out through his meridians.

Alex felt an incredible bit of pain at first, but then it vanished as quickly as it came, leaving behind a feeling of vigor in his meridians as the Yang Source flooded them with its energy, which then mixed with the aura of the Yang tree, reaching his Spiritual Sea.

Alex panicked for a moment, not knowing what was happening. For a second, he wanted to stop it all right away as he could not be sure about what danger lay in this moment.

However, the perfect synergy that he felt when the two different auras mixed made him stop just long enough for him to remember something.

'The Yang Source came from the fruit of the previous Nine Yang Divine Tree,' he thought, remembering the past. When he had eaten the fruit that terrible day, the energy from the fruit had healed his body.

Some of the energy had also overpowered the formation's connection that lay on him through Senior Yang's game system, destroying everything.

The rest of it had neatly placed itself in his Dantian, becoming the thing they had called the Yang Source.

The seed of that fruit had become the new Nine Yang Divine Tree, and now those two energies were meeting again, both flooding into his mind.

Alex could only imagine what this would do to the Creation. His Creation would still remain the Tree, right?

Alex ignored all else at that point, forgetting any danger that might have been, and focused on sending those auras to one of his Origins. The energy flooded into his Spiritual Sea, wherein Alex directed them toward one of the empty Origins.

To the side, the Origin that contained his Darkness and Death aura along with Steelmind's memories trembled at its arrival.

To the other side, the Origin that was covered in the Yellow Fog seemed to tremble with delight.

Alex could understand why one of those would be trembling, but the other one didn't make much sense to him. Was it because it was Yang aura?

Alex slowly let go of his full control over the aura, trying to see if the Yellow Fog would do anything at all. But it remained where it was, simply letting the aura from the tree and the source fill one of the Origins.

Once he was certain nothing was going to happen, Alex focused his attention on filling the Origin.

The mixed aura of the tree and the source didn't need his control anymore. They had made their connection with the Origin, so as soon as any aura appeared within his Spiritual Sea, it was sucked away by the Origin all by itself.

Alex could step back now, letting his Origin do the work entirely.

That, however, was only for the Spiritual Sea. Outside, he had to pump the aura from the tree through his meridians and send it up to his mind. Thankfully, the vigorous energy of the source followed suit all on its own.

Alex continued, little by little, until days passed. Even after all this time, even after all this aura, he had barely managed to make an indent on the overall aura required for a Perfect Transcendence.

That only made him wonder just how much aura had appeared when Godslayer let himself die. It was, after all, the remnant of a soul merging itself with another manifestation of a soul.

It was understandable that it would fill it up so quickly.

After continuing the session for over a month, Alex finally slowed down, changing the location of the Soul Space's opening so no more of the tree's aura came out.

Once the tree was gone, the Yang Source calmed down as well, and only then did the transcendence session finally end.
