Eternal Cultivation of Alchemy

Chapter 3520 Xue Yu'er's Performances

Chapter 3520 Xue Yu'er's Performances

The recording Alex had gotten was from the middle of the tournament, one where they tested the participants' Battle Power. There were a few that came before Xue Yu'er, using their strongest attacks to show how talented they were.

They were, in general, quite strong, with not a single one there having a Battle Power of 0. There had to have been some sort of filter before the tournament even started to have only that many.

Most of the people Alex saw had a Battle Power of 1 or 2. A few had 3, and only one other person had a Battle Power of 4.

When Xue Yu'er came around and used a snow attack, she revealed her Battle Power to the world.

6.

Alex was stunned for a second. That was way higher than he would have expected from Xue Yu'er. He had heard she was talented, but this went a level beyond being just talented.

He placed the talisman down, his face still carrying a stunned expression.

"Which one did you see?" the prince asked, looking at the talisman. "Oh, the Battle Power competition. You're surprised she's strong, huh?"

Alex nodded slowly. "I didn't expect her to have a Battle Power of 6." "Is it surprising?" the man asked.

"Of course," Alex said. "Where else would you find someone with such a high Battle Power?"

"Ah, my bad. I should've asked, is it surprising to you?" the prince said. "Yours is higher, isn't it? You fought and killed a Divinity from what I understand of the events in Raingear City."

"That's not exactly true," Alex said. "What I did back then came from an external factor. If I had to fight with just my cultivation, I would've died within seconds of the fight starting."

The prince chuckled. "Well, if it's of any consolation, then Xue Yu'er doesn't have a Battle Power of 6 either."

Alex's eyes narrowed. "She doesn't?"

"It's the technique she used. It had such attack potential that it makes her a step stronger than she really is. Her true Battle Power should be

5."

"Oh!"

It made sense to Alex if that was the case. He had a technique of his own that did something similar.

The True Immolation Strike had so many daos compressed into it that its attack potential went a step beyond his own, making it appear as though he had a Battle Power of 10 instead of 9.

'Actually, it might be 11 instead of 10 now, Alex thought. It still hadn't been drilled into him that his Battle Power had improved since his body evolved to the God Grade.

"Still, a Battle Power of 5 is not bad," Alex said. "Many of the Heavenly Beasts themselves don't have this much talent. And they are supposed to be among the most talented."

Scarlet herself only had a Battle Power of 4. Pearl's Battle Power of 7 after his second evolution was higher though, and with the activation of his bloodline mark, it was even higher at 10.

But he was special, unlike Xue Yu'er who came from a lower world. It just wasn't the same.

Alex took the next talisman, skipping over the introduction, before moving to the competition. The next tournament appeared to be one where someone had to survive a poison of a similar grade to their cultivation base, or stronger.

Even without a body that could handle poison, people could use their cultivation base to suppress any poison that entered their body to a certain extent.

With a Battle Power of 5, Xue Yu'er could handle a poison that was 5 levels stronger than what she was supposed to be able to handle. She was one of the few who could do such a thing.

Alex placed the talisman down and viewed the next one.

The next tournament tested their mental strength, which, despite not conforming with one's Battle Power, was still quite high for Xue Yu'er.

The next talisman held a tournament for pain threshold, where Xue Yu'er showed an incredible performance. In fact, as Alex watched it all, he began to believe that she might have the most talent in ignoring

pain.

It came as quite a surprise to him that the woman could handle pain to such a degree.

The other two tournaments were for seeing how fast one could learn

a technique, as well as their ability to battle without a hint of Qi in

their body.

Xue Yu'er, sadly, didn't perform as well in these competitions, though it wasn't that bad. She had won the tournament in the end, so the others couldn't have done much better either.

Finally, there was the tournament that tested everyone's spirit roots, and she stunned the world by revealing that she had 7 spirit roots.

Eight, if one considered the neutral spirit root.

Even though they weren't all of a higher grade like Alex's were, it was still quite impressive for someone to have all 7 spirit roots. Alex wondered if the 7 roots gave her a high Unity by any chance.

How would she have fared in a tournament where a person had to stop others from controlling them?

Alex's seven roots had allowed him to overpower the Sun God

himself, so she should have at least been decently powerful, right?

As Alex thought about her seven roots and the Unity test he soon wished to experiment with when he had the time, a certain thought floated into his mind.

It was a thought that would have obviously come to him sooner or later, considering everything he could do. The thought had nothing to do with Xue Yu'er at first, but as he thought about it more, a connection formed between them.

'The Snow Immortal sect's downfall was what led it to...'

The more Alex thought about it, the more certain he felt he was. A

strange look appeared on his face at the end. He had ended up considering something that likely no other person had thought about

just yet.

Now, he couldn't wait to meet Xue Yu'er again so he could ask her about it directly.
