Evolution: From Little Devil to Devil Empress

Chapter 760: Bloodline Strengthening & Changes

Chapter 760: Bloodline Strengthening & Changes

Liora watched calmly as the seven Sin Races assembled into enormous armies, marking the beginning of the chaos in the 17th Demon Layer.

Her expression remained indifferent, devoid of any guilt over the bloodbath that would soon ensue.

After all, all the current members of the Sin Races were reincarnated Devils.

To this day, Liora had yet to meet a single Devil that was not evil. Even those who were good-natured used evil means to achieve their goals, no matter how pure those goals were.

Even without Liora’s involvement, wars would break out sooner or later, just as they had in all the other Demon Layers. It was only a matter of time.

Liora’s involvement merely served to accelerate the inevitable.

“But this is still not enough…” Liora suddenly whispered.

Despite sensing that the concept of Sin had been further strengthened within the Demon Layer, she was still not satisfied.

Thankfully, the creation of the seven Sin Races had given Liora an idea. Or rather, they reminded her of something.

Floating in the air, she suddenly sat down, using the air as though it were a solid floor.

Then, her consciousness communicated with her Throne.

She didn’t activate it to urge her concepts or powers as an Ancient Devil.

Instead, she used her authority as a bloodline Ancestor.

The next moment, countless lights appeared in her mind, illuminating the dark map that represented the Origin Sea.

Most of these lights were gathered in a certain place, where the Demon World was located, while the others were scattered in several places.

Of course, there was still a part that remained within the Cosmic Universe, residing within the Blood Forest Realm she had conquered in the past.

Compared to the last time Liora had taken a look at them, her bloodline descendants had increased several times over.

Many of them had grown stronger, a result of Liora granting them the World Seed and enabling them to practice the Cosmic Sea power system. With its assistance, their combat prowess was quite terrifying.

Unfortunately, to this day, no truly powerful Devil had appeared.

Although some had reached the Greater Devil stage, there was not a single one who was even close to becoming an Archdevil.

That was to be expected.

Every Archdevil had lived for thousands of years and was already the most talented among their peers.

It was already surprising that there were Devils who had become Greater Devils in such a short amount of time.

However, Liora was far from satisfied with their current progress.

“It seems that it’s time to further strengthen my own bloodline again.”

“Even if I can’t help my bloodline descendants become Archdevils immediately, it would be good to have them possess the equivalent power…” she mulled.

She had already thought of a way and made the necessary preparations beforehand.

Without any hesitation, a thought was transmitted to her Throne through their invisible connection.

A technique was passed down.

The Primordial Sin Technique.

Or rather, its derivative method—the Sin Technique.

“I’ve already divided the Primordial Sin Technique into seven parts, each corresponding to a single sin, and made some changes to decrease the resulting Sin Avatar’s power.”

“Now, it should have no impact on me even if it were to spread. No one can comprehend it to find ways to deal with me.”

Having made a decision, Liora was quick to act.

The Sin Art was transmitted through her Throne to her bloodline descendants, nesting in the depths of their bloodline memories and waiting for them to find it.

“As long as they are compatible with the Sin Technique, they will obtain it sooner or later.”

“As for which of the seven parts they get or at which point in their lives, it will all depend on them.”

Although she said this, Liora could see that tens of thousands of the lights in her mind had grown brighter, clearly having obtained the technique already.

Moreover, the technique’s influence was still spreading, with more and more Devils deciphering it.

Seeing this, she didn’t interfere any longer.

She had already done everything she could. As for the rest, it depended on her bloodline descendants. From now on, she would have to wait.

Of course, she had not done this solely to help them.

She had her own purpose. And as always, that purpose was to improve her strength.

Liora urged the authority of the Ruler.

She combined it with the Progenitor’s Edit ability, which allowed her to summon her bloodline descendants, and created several blood pools throughout the seven continents.

Devil Runes flashed across their surface, and spatial power emerged, seemingly connecting them to another dimension.

Liora watched the blood pool’s birth calmly.

“From now on, every Young Devil that ascends to the Demon World and possesses my bloodline will be transmitted to the 17th Demon Layer. More precisely, to these blood pools.”

“As for those who have already ascended and missed this opportunity, they will have to master the Sin Technique to an adequate level if they wish to arrive here.”

Once more, her words worked like the Supreme Rules.

In the blood pools that had just been created, crimson lights flashed, and the figures of several humanoid Devils appeared.

If one observed closely, they would discover that all these Devils belonged to the same race.

Their gazes swept across their surroundings cautiously, evidence that they had never been here before.

Yet a moment later, they received a message that resonated with their bloodline.

They not only gained an understanding of the 17th Demon Layer, but also learned about the Sin Races and how they could strengthen themselves.

Immediately, these Devils took action.

Just like the Sin Races, they rapidly moved toward the future battlefields.

Observing their movements from the sky above, Liora felt certain changes within herself. More precisely, in the consciousness she had left within the System’s space.

She didn’t know if it was an illusion, but she could sense that her consciousness’s power had increased slightly, allowing her to expand the “white road” more quickly.

Although the improvement was minuscule, it allowed Liora to understand something:

Her bloodline could still provide her with assistance.

As long as she strengthened it, her progress in extending her own timeline would become easier and easier.

“Is this the case for all Ancient Devils, or does it only apply to me?”

“Is it because of that strange space?” Liora murmured in a low voice.

Unfortunately, she didn’t have an answer.

After several seconds, she decided to stop thinking about it.

Her mind drifted somewhere else.

Her gaze alternated between her bloodline descendants and the Demon Layer itself.

Then, she looked at the System Panel, where several question marks appeared in the [Race] column.

She knew she had to do something, something she had been putting off for a while.

After so long, she finally had to name her own bloodline.

Likewise, she had to give the 17th Demon Layer, her future home, a real name!
