Chapter 515: 1% of Company Shares

"What are you two talking about? Just what did Zero tell you guys that night?"

Finally realizing that Miya wasn't just being a bitch this time, Randy demanded some answers.

Tony and Miya looked at each other for a moment, and the former sighed and answered him, "1%! Whoever first completes one of the main storyline quests will receive 1% of the company shares!"

"1%?! That's huge! That's around $10,000,000,000! Wait a minute, how come it's not on the news though?" Listening to her words, Randy was shook at first, but then was a little skeptical when he realized that there was something wrong.

"We are the first ones to receive the news due to our connections with them, but I'm sure those big shots out there must have already received the news by now and are scrambling for it" Tony answered as she walked over towards the sofa where she left her ice cream and resumed eating it.

"The company will probably release the news in a couple of days, a week max" Miya added as she made her way towards the kitchen.

"Bloody hell! So that's why all the nine major guilds are all sailing back for the Monster Horde, leaving most of the small and medium sized guilds with no association to them behind! Those people were even happy about the departure of the major guilds, pitiful bastards!" Randy had to once again calm himself down as the news gave him a good pounding and almost knocked him out, one, two, three!

Randy couldn't help but pity but at the same time envy those casual players from the unaffiliated guilds since they can enjoy the game more and have less worries against schemes.

"Then what is our next move then? Wait a second, where did Chakram go? He was just here earlier" Randy asked the ladies when he noticed that Chakram suddenly disappeared.

"He already went back to his room. Seems like he's still a little annoyed that they didn't accomplish what they wanted to do when they left. It's nothing new since he tends not to easily forget things when they don't go the way he envisioned them too" Tony replied to the latter part of his words.

"But our next move…well, it's already obvious, we should call Michael and inquire about the Main Quest he's doing" Tony added.

"I'm already calling him but he's not picking up" Miya replied from the kitchen.

"Aside from Michael, we also have another problem," Randy said while looking at Tony with a grave expression.

Looking at his expression, Tony suddenly had a bad feeling, "What is it?"

Randy released a sigh before replying, "I don't know if you guys have been informed but there had been people in the city looking for information about us"

Hearing his words, the expression on the faces of the two women also became grave, but at the same time, they weren't that worried since there's people who will erase their traces for them. Though they do bring up unfortunate memories from their pasts.

"Why bring it up? Why? Do you want to personally go out and take care of them?" Miya asked as she already started preparing to cook for a meal.

"Why would I do that? I just wanted to see if you guys are up to date with the news happening around us" Randy replied with a shrug of his shoulders.

"It's better for us to not do anything and let the company do their job for us. After all, we didn't move to this city on a whim, we also utilized a lot of favors from the past so that we can live here worry free for at least the next few years" Tony added. It's to also remind Randy not to worry about the people tracking them, especially since they also rarely go out of the gated community.

Randy is probably the only exception since he has been busy with the kids, which probably made him worry that his actions might compromise their safety.

Though she can also understand him, before he didn't worry about this kind of thing, but now that he's in a relationship with a beautiful woman with her two girls, he now worries that they might also get implicated if those people ever managed to track them down.

Randy let out a sigh and said, "Sorry, I just don't want a repeat of what happened with what happened with my nephew. "She has a point since no one had managed to track us down since then"

"Hmmmp!"

Tony looked at Randy and replied with a shrug of agreement while the latter just snorted with a look of annoyance for his carelessness back then, he had become too overconfident then thinking that no one would be able to find his tracks.

Ring! Ring!

Then the sound of a phone ringing rang, Tony saw the number calling her and said to them, "Oh, Michael's calling me"

"Why is he calling you when I was the one who called him earlier?!" Miya yelled from the kitchen.

Randy ignored her while Tony answered the call, "Hey Mike, anything I can help you with?"

[I noticed that Miya called me earlier but I didn't notice it since I was talking with Amanda and Jenny earlier, and I couldn't reach her when I tried to call back, so I called you. What does she want?] Michael's voice sounded from the phone since Tony put it on speaker.

"I didn't get any calls from you as*hole!" Miya yelled from the kitchen.

[Wait, did you put me on speaker? I can hear my voice echoing] Michael said, completely ignoring Miya.

Tony chuckled and asked with anticipation in her voice, "Yeah, I did since everyone needs to hear this. Anyway, Randy just broke the news to us that you had already received a main storyline quest, is that true?"

There was a short silence before Michael answered, [The Main Quest? No, though I had the idea that I can probably get one if I successfully get my Drake Egg to hatch since it would be the first pet with the draconic bloodline in the game. Now that we're talking about it, I just remembered that Aron, my pet rabbit, also has a prestigious lineage similar to the Dragons, an Empyrean Beast.

I wonder if it has any parents or were just computer generated? But back to your question, no. I haven't received a Main Quest yet. Don't easily believe what Randy says, that old man doesn't know shit about gaming. See ya!]

"Damn you brat!" Randy angrily cursed, just in time that Michael ended the call with a laugh.

"Hooo! That brat doesn't miss every chance he gets to annoy me!"

Randy was annoyed and tried to calm himself down by doing breathing exercises while Tony just shook her head.

Ding!

It wasn't even that long after he called when a text message from Michael came and Tony quickly opened it.

[[Right, you can contact the Flame Rose Guild. I think they have the highest chance of receiving it since they also activated a Unique Quest. Unfortunately, the Unique Quest I received back then didn't lead to a Main Quest. I'm only reminding you since I'm pretty sure you already got the news about it. "Flame Rose Guild huh"

"What was it?"

Tony muttered while looking at the message that Michael sent to her, then she turned to Randy and asked, "Can you contact the Flame Rose Guild if we can join their Unique Quest?"

Randy questioningly looked at Tony and asked, "Why, are we not joining the event for the Monster Horde?"

Tony stared at him for a couple of seconds and it made her realize that what Michael said earlier was true.

'It's fortunate that he's not playing alone huh, or I'm afraid he would have been lost in the middle of nowhere inside the game'

"The Monster Horde wouldn't be repelled that easily. It's better for us to focus our attention into something that most of the players are not paying attention to, and that is the Unique Quest that the Flame Rose Guild received"
