Chapter 343: Super Strong Dante
Chapter 343: Super Strong Dante
The moment Dante breached the walls of the Broken Dawn camp, it felt as if a top had been snapped as panic enveloped everywhere.
"Heavens, when did he get there!"
"I didn’t even see him move!"
"We are doomed!"
Sniperbowlegend’s expression was gloomy. The normally stoic archer had never imagined a day would come where he would experience so many emotions within a single hour.
With a rare annoyed look crossing his features, he glared at the human giant who was now walking confidently through the centre of the camp.
"Even the buildings here aren’t that bad," Dante commented in a genuinely impressed tone, sweeping his beast-like gaze across the camp.
There was no one in sight, but his sensitive ears easily caught the whispering and crying voices. It didn’t take a genius to know they were hiding.
However, the refugees were none of his concern. He believed they were innocent in this. The only people he needed to deal with were the military and the otherworlders.
’Beside, the lord is obsessed with gathering refugees... its best I let them be.’
Swish.
FWOOOSH!
The sound of air whistling was heard. Dante’s ears perked slightly as he waved his hand through the air. His movements were so fast that only a small handful of people saw him catch the mana infused arrows.
"He caught it..." Sniperbowlegend gasped at how easily Dante caught an arrow that contained about fifty mana points.
"Hmpf!" Dante sneered as he drew his leg back, causing the ground to groan.
FWOOOSH!
The arrow shot out of his grip as though launched from the nozzle of a gun. It tore through the air, carrying a gust of wind that formed into a spinning vortex.
Sniperbowlegend barely escaped at the nick of time before it exploded on his previous spot.
BOOM!
"Fire!" he shouted instantly.
The few strong willed gunslingers immediately opened fire.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
After seeing what Dante did to the Hellfire turret, this time they used traditional mana guns.
"Barrier!" Dante called out. The earth began to move on its own, gathering in front of him and forming a circular earth barrier.
"Don’t stop! For him to pull up a barrier means he is destructible!"
That was all they needed to hear. Mana bullets smashed into the barrier with relentless force.
BANG! BANG!
This went on for nearly a full minute, and spider cracks began to form on the barrier.
A gleam of hope flashed in Sniperbowlegend’s eyes. With adrenaline pumping through his skin, he produced yet another arrow with his mana.
The tip of bluish energy glinted under the glare of sunlight and pulsed tightly. To make it more destructive, he channeled about one hundred mana points.
The moment he released it, the arrow shot down and smashed into the earth barrier. A loud explosive sound rang out.
BOOOM!
The wall shattered into a million fragments. Debris spread out, accompanied by dust. Players and NPCs alike held their breath, watching.
Suddenly, from within the dust, a figure shot out. Those on the wall flinched, eyes widening in shock as the figure landed right on the wall in front of an unfortunate player.
"Shit!" the player cursed loudly, deeply regretting logging into the game today. Dante slapped his cheek with such force that his head exploded.
BOOOM!
The slap sent the player flying several metres before he turned to data fragments, entering the respawn cycle once again.
[Ding! You have died!]
"Fireball!" a nearby mage shouted as a spinning flame spiralled into existence and shot forward, but it was casually smacked away.
Her expression darkened. The distance between her and Dante closed in merely five seconds. She turned on her heels to run.
"Hahahaha, where do you think you are going!" Dante laughed. "Don’t tell me you’re the type to throw the first blow and flee?"
"You sick thing, get away from me!" the mage cried.
BOOOM!
A loud sound rang out. She came to an abrupt stop, and when she glanced down, there was a fist mark on her chest. She collapsed face first, tumbling off the walls.
There were no data fragments, which meant the person Dante killed was a native of this world.
"Nooooo!"
A furious roar filled with agony and pain came from below. Dante turned his face toward the direction of the voice. He saw a man rushing toward him who bore an uncanny resemblance to the one who had just died.
"Seems they’re siblings," Dante mumbled as he jumped down, landing on the ground once more. He preferred fighting here.
"You sick bastard!" Clouded by rage, the man didn’t even realize how fast he covered the distance.
"You want to join your sister so badly... safe journey!"
Before the man could throw a fist, Dante’s wide palm covered his face. He lifted him off the ground.
BANG!
He smashed him into the earth with devastating force, killing him instantly.
There wasn’t even a hint of remorse on his features. He stood up and spat at the dead body buried in the crater that had formed from his attack.
"Kill him!"
"Die!"
Moments later, more members of Broken Dawn rushed forward, weapons ready and skills activated.
He straightened and with a grin, dived into the fray. His fist, encased by earth energy, blurred forward.
Bang! BANG! Bang!
A series of bangs echoed. Each time it sounded, the head of a Broken Dawn member was blown off. Blood slowly pooled across the ground. The air was filled with countless data fragments as players were deleted one after another. Meanwhile, the eyes of NPCs were filled with horror.
It was a one sided massacre that made Sniperbowlegend’s hands tremble in fear.
"These idiots! He will rage the entire camp to the ground at this pace!"
Right outside the camp, Geoffrey the butler face palmed as he saw the damage Dante was causing. He only wanted the reckless giant to subdue the leaders and fighters of the camp. That way, the base could still be used by the eastern camp. It was truly a shame. You didn’t run into such well structured camps often in the wilderness.
"Tsk," he clicked his tongue, watching the carnage unfold. ’Hopefully, the builders who built it in the first place can rebuild it.’
FWOOOSH! FWOOOSH!
A rain of arrows smashed down from the walls. Sniperbowlegend was barely keeping his hands steady, his chest rising and falling laboriously.
Despite his anxiety and nerves, the professional in him didn’t let his aim go haywire.
’I can’t hold on for too long,’ he thought, his expression grim.
