Chapter 475 - We don't forget

Chapter 475 - We don't forget

Blood and ashes fell from the sky like the weeping of the heavens.

Sunny tore open, its cries of anger and outrage rumbling all around like thunderclaps, as the Dreamspawn with Foxy fell down like iron

rain.

The sight was both majestic and horrifying. Rue, at that moment, couldn't help but admire them, but also fear what they would do to him once they touched the squirming earth below.

Back on the burning earth, he rested his trembling golden eyes on Foxy, noticing how dreams - that felt too real to be considered simple dreams - flooded furiously into the current reality at her anger.

"BROTHER!!!"

Her voice was so loud the air visibly parted away, rustling and churning restlessly.

At that instant, nothing else was important to the eyes of Foxy except her brother. In one glance, she took in his current situation.

She saw him saying her name, only to die and revive again. The process was so fast that an untrained eye would think he didn't even die.

Hatred and anger so deep, so profound, that her purple glowing eyes were tainted with crimson, tightened viciously her heart like a clenched fist.

Her heart hurt so much.

The urge to kill and slaughter everything was so tempting that Foxy almost forgot that she was here to save her brother in the first place. Not to fight.

No. Not today.

Wordlessly, still falling but soon touching the ground, Foxy turned her head to the right, looking at the Dreamspawn beside her.

This one was slightly different. It was a "she," despite that fact not being so visible. Added to that, she had a mark on her tongue. A mark that was shaped like a brain. A very wrinkled, lifelike brain colored in blue.

A Ranker, she said she was.

"Ranker Lhysta." Foxy called, her voice so cold the temperature around seemed to drop. "Save my brother."

She ordered.

Lhysta stared at her, though there were no eyes for her to see. Then she smiled, sticking her tongue out, her voice transferring to Foxy through Dreams,

"Your orders are my command, Blessed."

The instant Lhysta uttered those words, on the ground, the runes trapping Premier in an endless loop of death and rebirth were shrouded in blue illusionist light.

The light flickered one time, two times, then three... the runes of Soleil were transmuted into dream runes.

"Click-!"

Lhysta clicked her long finger, destroying the runes into beads of molten light that disappeared like dispelled illusions.

Just at that time, Foxy reached the ground with the other Dreamspawn. She stepped into the molten earth and dashed

immediately toward Premier.

The Will of Sunny immediately started to attack them, summoning rivers of fire and rain of molten rocks that sizzled the very air.

The scent of burning immediately became unbearable.

Foxy was untouched, protected by the Dreamspawn as she reached Premier, taking his broken body into her embrace.

"Premier!" she cried, holding him tighter. "Premier, are you okay?"

She asked, knowing full well that he wasn't okay. He couldn't be. But at that instant, no other words came out of her mouth except those. She bit her lower lip until blood swelled, straining her lips before trickling down her chin.

One of the Dreamspawn saw her and immediately tried to heal her, but Lhysta stopped the soldier with a raised palm. She knew it was not the time to bother the Blessed.

Premier, meanwhile, was completely dazed. One instant he was being tortured, the next he was being hugged by his sister. Things happened so fast that his already shattered mind could not keep up.

The only thing he could say was,

"I-I K-know nothing." Premier wheezed.

Foxy's eyes shimmered with restrained tears. She looked deep into

the crimson eyes of her brother, seeing the horrendous damage in his

psyche.

'How many times did he die?" she wondered, swallowing a tidal surge of hatred and focusing on the current situation.

"It's fine, Premier." Foxy whispered, wiping away the tears in Premier's eyes, letting her own fall. "It's fine. I will help you. I will help you heal, brother. But..."

Foxy bit her lips harder.

"I cannot mend your mind without your consent. So please, regain yourself and don't forget who you are."

She put her palms at each side of his head. They started to glow with a mesmerizing purple hue, veiling the whole head of Premier before seeping deep inside, touching his neurons.

At that instant, Lhysta snapped her head skyward, feeling the

approach of a phenomenal power.

No, not approach.

BAAAAAAAAAAMMMMM!!!

He wasn't coming. He was already there.

The arrival of Soleil, Bearer of Sun, was like a falling meteor. Everything began to flatten under his boundless aura, his searing sun eyes looking coldly at the event happening below.

Premier was already asleep, dreaming inside his mind. He needed to wake up by himself by conquering the very thing that broke his mind.

Foxy was worried, but she knew her brother would not fail her. He never did. He would never.

She raised her head and stared at Soleil's golden flaming eyes

fearlessly.

Three golden suns immediately spawned behind Soleil, tendrils of

smoke whirling out of them, as he looked at the intruders with

scalding anger.

"Entering and destroying my world?" He growled, veins of fire slithering through his forehead. "And freeing my prisoner? Do you wish death that much?"

The suns' size increased exponentially, causing the world itself to burn, slowly turning into smoldering ashes.

Sunny silently wept.

"Now-!"

"I swear in my father's name." Foxy cut Soleil's words coldly, boring

deep into his eyes. "I... no, my brother will kill you. You will beg for mercy, but by then you will understand..."

She smiled, hatred poisoning every inch of her stunning face,

"...no mercy-!"

"Axis of Sun, First Ladder - Three Suns of Death."

Soleil attacked without listening, disdaining the very act of hearing

Foxy's voice.

Lhysta immediately clapped her hands, causing Foxy and Premier's bodies to haze, then disappear completely.

Before going, Foxy saw how the three suns of Soleil turned black and red, their aura so profane it sent a chill down her spine. Yet she smiled, and repeated the words her father once said. "The Vaelgrim never forget. The Vaelgrim never forgive. The Vaelgrim

always strike back. And when we do, even if the whole universe

stands behind you, it will not stop your death."

"Remember that, Bearer of Sun."

She finally went away completely.

Soleil's eyebrows were tightly knitted as he looked at Lhysta, who

stood there smiling with all her teeth out.

His attack was swallowed by her dreams.

Soleil seemed indifferent to it.

"What are the Dreamspawn doing with a fallen faction of our

universe?" He asked coldly, fire shrouding his whole body. "We do not care." Lhysta said, using the language of the universe

through her dream power. "We came here to conquer, but instead we met the Blessed. Ohoho! Dream was right!"

She laughed, her tongue out, showing her mark proudly.

"We have found our promised! And now..."

Lhysta's laughter disappeared as if it had never happened. Her face

turned cold.

"...you want to kill her?"

Soleil smiled cruelly. "Now more than ever, I am motivated to slaughter that little bitch."

Lhysta answered with silence, but it didn't last long. She looked around at her soldiers, then spared a glance at Rue.

She felt the urge to kill him, but Soleil's attack made her completely forget Rue.

Lhysta pushed herself upward, going straight into the sky, escaping a river of destroyed, liquefied stars that appeared underneath her. She shuddered, feeling a presence behind her.

Soleil's hand - gloved by the heat of three suns combined and

melting like burned leather - hissed like a snake and grabbed Lhysta by the throat.

Her throat exploded instantly. Yet she still had time to utter some words before it happened.

"Dream World - Of Blood and Fire."

Sunny and everything within it disappeared, swallowed by Lhysta's

Unique Dream.

Meanwhile, far away from Sunny's world, Foxy, with Premier sleeping

in her arms, appeared out of the void.

She looked around, sighing.

"Let's go home. For now."

The void in front of her wobbled, then parted away, revealing Fated

and Caus together.

"Let's go, big sister." Fated said, holding Foxy's hand, then using a

string of fate to guide them back toward Laeh.

"Caus's big brother?" Caus muttered to himself, looking at the sleeping

Premier.

Foxy nodded while entering the void.

"Yes," she smiled, "Big brother is back." -End of Chapter 475-
