I Am the Fated Villain

Chapter 1759

Chapter 1759. By Order of the Alliance Leader, the Familiar Faces Mobilize

All the civilized true realms were watching intently. Countless eyes gazed across the cosmos, closely following the unfolding events.

Two superpowers had deployed their forces, the final battle on the brink of eruption, the air thick with the scent of war.

“The Fatian Alliance is going too far. This battle is unavoidable.”

A senior figure from the Zhengyi Alliance appeared in the ancient city, standing in the void, his eyes cold and detached. Behind him followed several other beings of overwhelming strength, who, across the vast starry sea, confronted the Fatian Alliance forces.

Over the years, the Zhengyi Alliance had often retreated for various reasons, avoiding direct confrontation with the Fatian Alliance. This had long frustrated many high-ranking members, their anger suppressed over time. Now, with the official order to fight and no more chance to back down, they were ready to fight to the death.

Rumble!

Bronze war chariots rolled across the heavens, wheels thundering through star systems, shaking the entire cosmos. Upon each chariot stood rows of soldiers clad in cold armor, holding heavenly blades and war spears. Their chilling light cut through the starry void, sending shivers down the spine of anyone who beheld them.

Within the Zhengyi Alliance, factions existed: hawkish warmongers, dovish peacemakers, and cautious retreatists. But with the Alliance Leader and several vice leaders all calling for a decisive battle against Fatian, even the dovish and cautious factions had no choice but to send their strongest to the front lines.

A massive army lined up, iron-clad and menacing, their cold lights flickering across the universe.

“Do you truly wish to trigger a final war, Fatian Alliance? We Zhengyi Alliance have never feared confrontation, but think carefully about the cost.”

A Zhengyi Alliance powerhouse roared, his voice like a great bell, reverberating across the cosmos, causing surrounding stars to tremble. Across a stretch of star systems, Fatian Alliance’s formidable warriors watched coldly, offering no reply.

The Lord of the Demon Court, Emperor Dikun, descended personally. Behind him, the demon army radiated a killing intent, dense and vast, like a sea of demons. Over the years, he had led countless campaigns and carved a fearsome reputation—not comparable to when he first ascended as Emperor. Even the appearance of the Demon Ancestor, Emperor Huang, might not match his current might.

“By the order of the Alliance Leader, we punish the Zhengyi Alliance.”

“The Zhengyi Alliance has colluded with the dark beings, subverting the cosmos and wreaking havoc. Today, the Fatian Alliance shall uphold Heaven’s will, correct the chaos, and cleanse the world.”

“Those who stand in our way shall be killed!”

Dikun’s expression was cold as he stepped out of his chariot. He wore a wide purple robe embroidered with qilin and dragon patterns, a crown upon his head, and eyes deep with authority. As his robe fluttered, a decree filled with supreme aura materialized, shooting into the sky, radiant with countless beams of light. Dao symbols flashed across it, each character silver and iron-like, resonating with true authority.

Within the decree, a faint, elongated figure could be seen. It appeared seated at the edge of the cosmos, surrounded by infinite world shadows, with clusters of divine flames swirling behind. Across uncountable dimensions, it looked down upon all living beings.

All Fatian Alliance warriors and armies bowed fervently to this apparition.

“This is the Fatian Alliance Leader’s projection…”

“It seems he truly intends to take action against our Zhengyi Alliance.”

The faces of the Zhengyi Alliance leaders and warriors changed upon sensing an indescribable terror. Many broke into cold sweat, pale-faced, trembling and nearly compelled to kneel and bow. Entire armies felt like insignificant ants before a true dragon. The oppressive force made it nearly impossible to muster any fighting spirit. They could not imagine that facing the Alliance Leader directly might leave any chance of resistance. A mere thought from him could obliterate entire universes and eras.

In the ancient city, Qingniao soared with wings spanning thousands of meters, Zhao Xiuyan atop it, her expression subtly shifting. The Fatian Alliance Leader was a familiar figure across all races and civilizations of the cosmos—not in person, but by reputation, for his founding of the Fatian Alliance had shaken all of existence. Few had actually seen him.

Yet Zhao Xiuyan felt a strange familiarity, as if she had seen this figure somewhere before, blurred and indistinct under chaotic mists, but unmistakably present in her memory.

“Is it you?” Zhao Xiuyan murmured, red lips moving softly, her mind frozen for a moment.

“Kill!”

As Zhao Xiuyan hesitated, the vast star systems erupted with the sounds of unending slaughter. Dao lights shot into the heavens, waves of energy sweeping across all lands.

With Emperor Dikun’s decree, Fatian Alliance’s armies surged forward. It was a genuine tide of endless soldiers, wave upon wave, engulfing the universe. Heaven and Earth trembled, the balance of the cosmos shaken.

The Fatian Alliance had clearly prepared, foreseeing the outbreak of this war. They had laid countless formations, chariots and ancient warships rumbling through the star systems, shifting positions to form human arrays that channeled the Dao.

Infinite cosmic power was drawn into these formations. Flags inscribed with ancient runes were placed in all directions by Fatian’s strong warriors. A hazy mist rose, and endless troops surged out as if from a ghostly army, unstoppable and overwhelming.

Elsewhere, the other realms erupted in battle as well. Fatian Alliance’s warriors intercepted reinforcements from Zhengyi’s distant territories, intending to encircle and capture all high-ranking leaders.

“Kill! Give them no chance!”

“Colluding with dark beings, they deserve death!”

Ancient warships shone with divine light. Figures of immense vitality leaped across star systems, clashing with Zhengyi’s forces.

“This battle admits no retreat. The Fatian Alliance’s ambitions to dominate all existence are clear. Should our Zhengyi Alliance fall, no power will remain to check them in the future.”

Deep in the cosmos, strong warriors roared, blood spilling into the void, besieged by Fatian’s might.

Rumble!

Ancient city formations activated, infinite light shooting skyward, illuminating the dark cosmos. Portals opened, banners fluttered, and Zhengyi’s reinforcements surged like rivers of steel, clashing with Fatian’s army.

Elsewhere, the wars raged equally fiercely. All higher-than-Dao Realm beings fought, their blood flowing through the void, a spectacle of unparalleled terror.

“One more three Dao Ancestor-level kills and I’ll have enough merit to exchange for a bottle of the Fateful Substance, giving me a chance to survive nine Celestial Decay Tribulations.”

In this outer battlefield, darkness reigned. Even the strongest could not see clearly. Rules were incomplete, the Dao fragmented; all techniques were suppressed.

A terrifying Golden Crow stretched across the void, spanning all space-time. Beneath it flowed the River of Years, glittering with fragments of past and future. Its enormous presence seemed to contain all worlds. Its eyes blazed like suns, radiating golden light infused with obsession and madness.

It was the Ancestor of the Demon Court, Emperor Dikun’s father, the Demon Ancestor Huang.

Opposing him, a crimson-haired figure stood amid seas of blood, with terrifying shadows roaming. Blood-colored mists rose, and countless formidable figures emerged, from ancient sages to preeminent emperors, all previously defeated by him.

They battled on this outer battlefield, with billions of variations of Dao clashing, chaos breaking and reforming, as if recreating the world. The aura of Dao Ancestor-level beings was overwhelming; ordinary Dao Realm entities would be crushed instantly.

“Demon Ancestor, I didn’t expect even you to submit to the Fatian Alliance. I heard the Demon Court was once manipulated by the Alliance Leader, used as a pawn against Xian Chu Hao Tu…”

From the crimson blood sea emerged a man in a blood-red robe, middle-aged, with a pale face and red eyes, the Blood Dao flowing beside him.

“Heh, Blood Ancestor, aren’t you now serving the Zhengyi Alliance? I wonder what they offered you to fight me so recklessly?” Emperor Huang sneered, his massive presence dominating all space. Behind him floated a blazing sun, illuminating the blood sea as if capable of evaporating all matter.

Such Dao Ancestor-level beings, having survived eight Celestial Decay Tribulations, were exceedingly rare. Across the cosmos, Blood Ancestor was a legendary figure, having crossed eight Decay Tribulations since ancient times.

Emperor Huang hadn’t expected Blood Ancestor to serve Zhengyi and fight him. The Demon Ancestor’s loyalty to Emperor Dikun stemmed from a tiny vial of mysterious substance given to him during a campaign.

The Ancestor had been stagnant for many eras, but upon absorbing a fragment of this substance, he felt a surge of clarity and vitality, as if years of thirst were quenched with sweet spring water. This substance, the Fateful Material, contained secrets of ultimate transcendence, highly coveted by Dao Realm beings.

He now aimed to accumulate enough battle merit to exchange for a full vial, anticipating it would allow him to survive the nine Celestial Decay Tribulations. Over the years, he had hunted similar-level Dao Ancestor beings, but most escaped upon sensing danger. He had only slain one so far.

But now, Blood Ancestor was stronger than ordinary Dao Ancestor beings, a peer who had also crossed eight Celestial Decay Tribulations. If Huang could kill him, he would gain enough merit to claim a Fateful Material.

“Each of us serves our own purpose. Ancestor, why risk yourself so?” Blood Ancestor’s red eyes followed him. He sensed Huang’s genuine intent to kill. What could compel him to serve the Fatian Alliance so wholeheartedly, risking death?

“Hah, it seems you are not truly sending yourself to death for the Zhengyi Alliance, only coerced,” Huang replied, seemingly reading Blood Ancestor’s thoughts. “Blood Ancestor, if you act wisely and submit now, the Zhengyi Alliance could never oppose the Alliance Leader. Right now, he has not yet personally intervened.”

“Those who think colluding with dark beings grants the Zhengyi Alliance the right to oppose the Alliance Leader are far too naive.”

Blood Ancestor’s expression shifted constantly. He could not understand why the once domineering, arrogant Demon Ancestor would now speak in such a manner.

Who exactly was this Fatian Alliance Leader?

“It seems even the Demon Ancestor has been converted…”

“I heard you once fought the Alliance Leader, yet after a single move, you fled billions of miles in silence. That doesn’t resemble the Demon Ancestor I knew, who once dominated all existence.”

Blood Ancestor glared coldly, no longer speaking. The blood seas churned as countless powerful figures surged forth to strike Huang.

In the next instant, heaven and earth shattered, ghostly wails echoed, terrible Dao orders danced, forming a storm that swept everything away. Between them, Dao clashed in pure order, rippling like waves, vast and magnificent, shaking worlds and disturbing the flow of time.

Such a battle between eight-time Celestial Decay survivors—who in history had witnessed it?

Elsewhere, in the outer realms, equally shocking battles unfolded, fought only by those of equal rank. No lower-level being dared intervene.

This war between the Fatian Alliance and Zhengyi Alliance shook the entire cosmos. Countless civilizations were horrified and incredulous. Across many eras, how often had such a terrifying war occurred? Many civilizations and true realms might vanish in this conflict.

Would the Fatian Alliance truly annihilate the Zhengyi Alliance in one blow? And at such a time, what would the dark beings do—ally with Zhengyi to resist Fatian, or watch the fight unfold without interference?
