"What?"

Northern looked him in the eye.

"You attacked the city, inside the city, you attacked them and put me in a pinch, now I have to explain what exactly has gone wrong, and since I have your cooperation, there seems to be no easier way out of this than handing you to them. You can apologize, rebuild... do anything really."

Prince Reis pointed to himself.

"Me, you want me to apologize?"

Northern managed a smile.

"You can’t apologize? What’s so bad about apologizing? I had apologized so many times too. It’s only normal to apologize when you’re wrong."

The Prince was speechless, looking at Northern with an incredulous expression. Then he laughed.

He paused his laughter to look at Northern, but to his bewilderment, his brother was still looking straight and dead serious.

It was then that the Prince swallowed the rest of his laugh.

The look on his face also became grave.

"You really have no idea what it is to be a royalty."

Northern scoffed.

"Fuck royalty, I’m not going to let you put me in a pinch. You’re making an appearance."

A crooked grin split his face.

"You can let go of everything, my cooperation, and assistance. Then just comfortably become an enemy, Ryugan and I will passionately see to the doom of your nation and you. I promise you that."

Prince Reis was silent, and he was looking at Northern.

He suddenly released a soft smile.

"You’ve matured from that little boy... that too in a matter of what? Eight months? What happened to you, I must ask."

Northern’s response came so casually.

Prince Reis stood up.

Prince Reis responded with a shrug.

"What else? I made back, all the people I unmade?"

Northern tilted his head slightly, confused.

"Trying to get it is impossible, my talent works in stream of command and countermand. It’s called the Stellar Edict, an EX Class talent you have been trying to steal since you set your eyes upon me, little brother, don’t be greedy."

Northern frowned slightly.

Northern was silent for a moment, then he gave his brother a disarming smile, with his eyes closed.

"You were cautious of me, I’ll take that as a compliment."
