I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 487: The Fall into a Bubble?

Chapter 487: The Fall into a Bubble?

"It’s not glass..." Lillian muttered with a hardened face, staring down at the reflective dome that was wide enough to encompass all that was below them—the size of the entire Three Temple Island.

What they were looking at was actually...

"It’s a bubble."

The dome they were looking at was merely the very top of the bubble, which once belonged to the deepest part of the ocean—the ocean trenches—but had now risen to the part of the ocean.

"A BUBBLE!?" x 2

Viesta and Emilio were in absolute bafflement at what they had heard. Was this really a bubble!? And wait... How did Lillian know that?

Unfortunately, they wouldn’t be given a chance to ask.

"SHIT!"

The Captain, having heard and realised what he was seeing, shouted his vulgar word with a pale and panic-stricken face.

Flutter...!

Sprouting from his back, the Captain grew several pairs of wings as he leapt from the tree he was standing on, taking everyone into the air.

Lillian, watching the way the Captain reacted, could only smile helplessly as she saw the serpent-like monsters of grandiose size escaping from the sides of the bubble.

They were leviathans.

Soon enough, the mysterious force from earlier noticed the Captain’s intent to escape. Then, as though as punishment, the force crashed down into him and those that he was carrying with tremendous power.

In an instant, the force sent him back to where he started, and even went as far as pushing him further back.

THUD! THUD! THUD!

Due to the heavy force, the Captain slammed into countless large debris along the way. Fortunately, he managed to make it so that he took the full brunt of the damage, shielding the others.

The unfortunate part, though, was that...

They had fallen into the titanic bubble.

And upon entering... They were met with an entirely different world—a ruined civilisation built on aquamarine bricks, coral structures, and even sunken ancient ships.

Streets and tall buildings were cracked and shattered. The coral structures were white and dried. And the wooden sunken ships were decayed and aged.

It even had a massive temple off in the distance, that was several dozen metres large—not on the scale of the three temples back on the island, but it still gave off an incredibly imposing aura.

And it was without major damage to its infrastructure, which was surprising due to how desolate and ruined everything around it was.

Areas where life could have lived were destroyed, but still remained partially intact. It was as though a civil war had taken place within this location.

And the most strange of all, this place had air. What appeared to be and should’ve been an underwater civilisation wasn’t submerged in water; it was wrapped in a bubble.

The bubble was much bigger on the inside.

Once the five of them had entered through the bubble, they were immediately suspended in the air by the mysterious force that was keeping all the destroyed debris of once-was-an-island in the air.

Even the monsters they had yet to exterminate were suspended in the air.

Everyone looked around with wonder and fear, wondering about where they possibly were. But not Lillian, for she was looking at something entirely different.

Above them all and below the dome of the bubble they were now inside was a massive sphere of pulsing blue light made entirely out of mana. And wrapped around its side was a dark, coral-like pattern, which made it seem that the sphere had gotten itself a tattoo.

The aura she felt from it was heavy, as though being right near it was enough to crush the air out of her lungs. And the feeling she got from the ruined civilisation wasn’t any better, as it gave her a bone-chilling and gloomy impression.

The mysterious force returned and pulled them towards the ground along with all the monsters around them, except for the island’s debris, which still remained suspended in the air.

And when that happened...

All hell broke loose.

The moment all the living creatures were lowered to the ground, what could only be the residents of this realm emerged from the ruined buildings.

They stood on two legs and wore ragged and torn clothes—similar to those of pirates—and were without skin, muscles, organs, or flesh. They wielded weapons of all kinds, some even glowing to show that they were special.

These were the humans of this era; humans who had been dragged to the bottom of the sea along with their ship.

And they were hostile to the living. For once, they made eye contact with anything with warm blood, they immediately attacked.

After being let down on their feet, the five of them immediately engaged in an all-out brawl that they were now a part of.

Jon used his fists as the wind swirled around him.

Emilio used expensive weapons he kept stored within his ring, hesitant about using his mana unless necessary.

Viesta utilised her wings instead of her guns, slicing through the flesh or bones of monsters and undead pirates alike.

Lillian and the Captain used the techniques belonging to the Deep Sea Hunter to carve out a way through the horde around them.

Since the monsters weren’t on a single team apart from the packs they were in, they were heavily outnumbered as the undead pirates seemingly refused to stay down longer than a few seconds.

And whenever they were truly put down for good, only more seemed to arrive to take their place.

Blood flooded the streets as flesh was bitten or slashed off, littering the streets as corpses began to pile quickly. If it truly wasn’t for this bloodshed, this ruined civilisation would’ve made for a perfect place to explore and admire.

[You have slain a Regular Gnarl, Drowned Skeleton]

[You have slain...]

[You have slain...]

Since these undead pirates were never given a chance to be granted an ability by a god when they were living, they were never able to advance their Mana Core past Regular, which was the Tier humans are born with.

Lillian and the Captain immediately got into a stance as they raised their swords.

"[1st Technique of the Deep Sea Hunter: Tidebreaker Slash]!"

"[4th Technique of the Deep Sea Hunter: Drowning Net]!"

An illusory wave appeared behind Lillian as she made a horizontal slash, and an illusory net of interlaced slashes formed in front of the Captain.

And with their attack, they managed to break through the encirclement they were in, allowing everyone to escape.

"Yar are quite attached to the first technique, aye?" The Captain asked, having now gotten rid of the paleness from his face earlier.

Lillian rubbed the back of her head as she ran. She had indeed noticed she was more inclined to use the 1st technique instead of any other technique.

’I might need to put more variety in.’ She reflected silently.

After running far enough away from the mosh pit, she rested inside one of the buildings, having a breather before confronting Lillian about all that had just happened in the span of almost two hours.

While Jon didn’t say anything, Emilio, the Captain, and Viesta made up for it.

They asked her a million questions, some that Lillian didn’t want to answer, and some she outright ignored, as they might cause her to uncover her deep knowledge of things.

Emilio and the Captain asked much shallower questions regarding what had happened, while Viesta asked even shallower questions. Not because she was unable to think of any good questions, but because her shallow questions soon snowballed into deeper questions.

Lillian had made sure not to give the woman too much to figure her out, but it rather... Difficult.

Anyway, in the end, Lillian managed to somehow divert everything by saying:

""During in-depth studies on a particular location during my Second Trial, I was able to piece together what island we were on and what was below it. That’s all."

Of course, it wasn’t the most convincing of excuses... But...

’What are they gonna do? Ask Marionette what went on in our Trial?’

Unless you had SOMEHOW managed to get Marionette to warm up to you—which was near impossible—trying to get information out of her would be like talking to a brick wall that would constantly insult you every chance it could get!

Although they weren’t completely satisfied with her answer, especially Viesta, they soon gave up—feeling it would be a waste of their time that could be used getting out of this Trial.

But they did have one last question.

"Where are we, Lillian?"

"Where are we? Hm... How should I put this? You know those Four Mighty Sea Kings the Captain was telling us about? Yeah, we’re currently standing on the home of one of them."
