I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 574: Gravity Turned on its Side?

Chapter 574: Gravity Turned on its Side?

Upon lowering her arms, Lillian was in shock as she found the two heavily injured servants - the injuries they sustained made it look like they put through a hurricane due to how twisted their limbs looked; one of them was even missing an arm!

Lillian took a careful step back from them. Then, she watched as they vanished before her eyes; the scent of flora swooshed by her face.

Gardener of Roses had taken them away.

As Lillian was still processing that the area of the forest in front of her was reduced to desolation, it was as if someone hovered down from above.

Elara hovered down with no visible means with her arms behind her back and a cold look on her face.

Lillian grimaced a bit. This part of the competition had barely even begun, and yet she and Elara were the only ones standing now. While it may be comical that she was afraid of someone like her right after defeating someone as powerful as the Drowned King, but here’s the thing.

Unlike the Drowned King, who had a simple ability to control water like her, Elara had something much more special than that...

The Element of Gravity.

Elara raised two of her fingers before flicking them to the right. She then muttered:

"[Gravity Direction: Right]"

Noticing this, Lillian immediately leapt back to dodge the area affected, but still found herself pulled by gravity that suddenly took a sharp right turn.

Dirt, grass, trees, and bushes, along with Lillian, were pulled hundreds of metres to the right.

Along the way, Lillian crashed into several objects, which would’ve left a bruise if her body weren’t so resilient.

THUMP.

"Agh—!"

Crashing into another trunk of a tree, Lillian soon felt her body fall - gravity was swiftly returning.

Once her body made it to the ground, Lillian quickly moved into a roll to disperse the damage.

She soon flipped herself back to her feet and inspected the damage done to her, which, fortunately, wasn’t much, besides her clothes now being awfully dirty.

’Not like it wasn’t dirty before... I’m sure I’ll get a new one later.’

Dusting herself off, Lillian watched as Elara soon made her way over through the air; the woman’s face still expressionless and cold.

Lillian frowned. Not only did the Maid have the ability to manipulate gravity, but she also had a very special Trait that allowed her to expand the reach of her attacks by nearly 50%!

Elara raised her fingers again, her mouth opening as she was able to turn gravity.

She flicked her fingers towards the left.

"[Gravity Direction: Left]"

Lillian and everything around her were sent flying again. The Rabbit endured hundreds of metres of flight again, with Elara closely following to change gravity’s direction.

This happened a few more times before eventually coming to an end. Unlike Lillian, who had an incredible amount of mana and had an element that didn’t require much thought or mana to be used, Elara was the opposite.

She had a slightly above mana capacity for a Tier 3 mage and had an element that cost an ungodly amount of mana to be used; she also had to do swift calculations inside her head to get it to do what she wanted it to.

Elara had to calculate where she wanted gravity to move, as well as how far, while going against the natural order of gravity that resisted her control.

A drop of sweat dripped down Elara’s cheek as she watched Lillian roll back onto her feet, completely without visible injuries whatsoever.

The reason was that throughout Elara’s changes in gravity, Lillian was able to latch herself onto the wildlife caught in the attack - while she was not entirely proud of it, she was able to use the vitality gained from the animals to heal herself.

Just enough to where it seemed she was completely uninjured.

Seeing that Elara wasn’t going to make gravity turn on its side, Lillian swung her hand and shot an arching water blade at the Maid.

The Maid blinked at the attack and moved her hand to defend. With her palm facing the projectile, she clenched her hand and caused the gravity around the attack to fold and—

"[Gravity Crush]."

—Crushed it.

She then raised her fingers to twist gravity again, but found herself surrounded by water harpoons heading straight for her - intending to turn her into a needle cushion.

Elara narrowed her eyes, intending to try to fit through the gaps in between the harpoons, but found herself weighed down and pushed down by some kind of pressure.

She raised an eyebrow at this, but swiftly adapted.

Changing her plan, she erupted with a crushing gravity that eliminated all of the water harpoons aiming to skewer her.

Unfortunately, she needed to expend much more effort to destroy them as the harpoons were far more resilient than she thought.

She exhaled deeply, preparing to turn gravity on its side as she had planned, but was unexpectedly charged at by two plasmatic leviathan heads.

With a pincer attack, they roared and rushed towards her on either side. Elara tried to dodge but was swiftly chased after, and even if she did dodge, she was soon shot at by a water harpoon.

Lillian gave her no time to counterattack.

"Tch!" Elara clicked her tongue as the plasmatic heads persisted her, the heat emanating from them giving her light burns.

With a wave of her hands, she manipulated her mana to create knives in between her fingers - throwing knives. She would then chuck them at the flying heads.

With the durability close to glass, the heads were destroyed.

Lillian, who was about to prepare for another attack, felt something odd about her right arm. Then, her eyes shot wide open as her arm was completely crushed by space.

The gravity crushed through her muscles, her bones shattering and splintering into her flesh, her blood vessels severing and exploding with blood.

Her eyes became bloodshot at the pain, but with superhuman endurance and will, Lillian severed her crushed arm from her shoulder, stopping any more brain-stabbing pain coming from it.

Lillian grimaced, ’Well, this hadn’t happened in a long time...’ She smiled self-deprecatingly, watching as a waterfall of blood flowed out of her blood stump.

With a soft hiss, she looked away from her bloody stump, watching as Elara fell from the sky and landed on the ground. The Maid then went on to pull the sharp steel hairpins from her hair, which fell all the way to the middle of her back.

The Rabbit watched as the Maid raised her hairpins at her threateningly. It seemed that Elara was going to face Lillian in close combat.

’A fight with my non-dominant arm...?’ Lillian thought with a wry smile, creating a single-edged water sword in her left hand, "Why the hell not?"

After saying that, Lillian charged in, swinging her sword and colliding with Elara’s hairpins.
