I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess

Chapter 587: Some Nobles?

Chapter 587: Some Nobles?

"Hey, hey, Kuro! What are your thoughts on that Darkhound fellow?" The Scion of the Kirisaya family asked, fidgeting on one of the many benches in the garden.

Having just gone around in circles with other nobles, Mizuki found this would be a great time for a rest.

"If I recall, Kuro, that guy is a prodigy like you! Although... I haven’t heard much about him." Mizuki muttered, rubbing his chin as he looked towards his dear bodyguard.

Kuro hummed as he sat beside his friend, also having the same thought. What did he think of the Darkhound?

So far, not much.

Since this was his first time seeing the man, he had yet to be able to gauge the man’s strength - Damien also didn’t look like someone who relied on a sword.

From the knowledge he had heard and researched, he came across snippets of the man in action.

With a wave of his hand, Damien was able to kill anyone factually weaker than him by exploding them from the inside - mainly, their heads.

Apparently, the attack was so silent and swift that the victims wouldn’t have known they were killed until the pain hit them.

Damien was titled to be a person to kill even the most innocent man on a sidewalk if they held no more value to him. In otherwords, this man was a psychopath - someone Kuro doesn’t want to be associated with.

He researched a few more articles and pages where Damien would blatantly reveal his killings in the Underworld, but honestly, aside from Damien himself and possibly his family, nobody knew what other abilities the man had.

’Without information, and equal strength... I doubt I can beat him if he made a move...’ Kuro thought.

While fighting a Tier 3 mage as a Tier 2 wasn’t completely unheard of, as it usually came down to whoever had the better abilities or mana, it was usually a death sentence for the average mage.

However, Kuro was not an average Tier 2 mage; he was certain he could go toe-to-toe with a Tier 3 mage as long as he had his sword. However, Damien wasn’t an average mage either - and because of that, Kuro was certain he had no chance.

He then twisted his head towards Mizuki, who tilted his head at him. The Scion was highly against coming to this sort of event, but was forced here nonetheless.

"Good thing you aren’t a woman."

"Huh? What?"

Kuro had also heard that the Darkhound was incredibly lustful to the point of taboo.

...

’This was the path to these guys...?’ Lillian thought, hiding a groan as she watched their group get approached by three nobles and their servants.

"See! I told you I saw two ladies over here, and beautiful ones at that!" A noble pointed out with a swagger in his step, engaging in a quiet whisper with the two beside him.

A noble beside him snorted, having seemed to be already familiar with the man before the event, "Oh, please. One of them is a noble, while the other is just some maid - beautiful or not, if they aren’t nobles then there is no point acknowledging them."

"Wait! That maid was the one I was telling you guys about!"

When one thought of nobles, they would probably imagine people with a little bit more posh or respectfulness in their voice, given their position. This thought would actually be true if this current era were set in Earth’s medieval or early modern era.

However, with the coming of the Internet, the people of this time have grown... Bolder with their actions and words - regardless of age. This type of thing was a thing in her old world, as well.

While Lillian was watching them approach, Marionette was narrowing her eyes at them - her already cold and taciturn face growing colder.

Despite the three men speaking in an extremely quiet and hushed tone, at such a distance, it would be nearly impossible for Marionette not be able to hear them.

After the three men reached them, they began to make very warm and welcoming gestures towards them - their words sweetly tainted to further hide their hidden motives.

"Hello there, would you three like to come with us for a calm stroll through this lovely garden? We three have a wide knowledge of flowers and plants, so we can be a sort of guide for you."

"Yes, yes. And it would also be a good way for each of us to get to know each other better. It is what this event is about, after all~..."

Lillian looked at the two who made an attempt to get her and Marionette, as well as Emilio, to join them on a walk. Her mood soured a bit at their honeyed words.

As the Rabbit was about to gesture for the Assassin to walk past them, she was left surprised as she found Marionette entertaining them with questions.

"As a precaution, may I know each of your names? Family names, to be exact. I’d rather not associate myself with lesser nobles." Marionette inquired.

"Well, you’re in luck! Each of us here is actually a Ker! I come from the Alderwick family, he comes from the Fenlow, and he is from the Marris." One of the nobles proclaimed proudly before introducing his and the other’s names.

Marionette hummed silently, closing her eyes for a brief moment before cracking a small smile - having recalled everything she knew about each family.

Then, she did something that caused Lillian to widen her eyes to a large degree. Marionette shrugged Lillian off of her and agreed to the three noblemen’s offer.

"Very well, you three are sufficient. I shall come with you. But only me - I wish for it to just be us four and don’t want my servant to be a part of it."

"Hoho? I see why not!"

Lillian, who heard this, whispered in surprise:

"Eh?"

With his hands still lingering in the air from where Marionette’s arm used to be, she watched as Assassin walked off with the three nobles, who cracked a large and welcoming smile that left her stomach churning.

"H-hey, Marionette..." Lillian whispered, watching as Marionette turned around the corner with the nobles, leaving without her.

Unable to sense Lillian’s sadness inside, Emilio leaned in and whispered:

"Are you sure you two are dating...? I don’t think couples are meant to leave their couple behind to walk off with other me"

Lillian slowly turned her head towards the Nightraven and tilted her head eerily, looking at Emilio with dark eyes as she muttered:

"Do you want to be strangled?"
