Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1903: Two Person... Two Monsters... One Connection: Part-1

Chapter 1903: Two Person… Two Monsters… One Connection: Part-1

Delta Governor blankly stared at the rabbit-masked man, who stood calmly behind the fallen, headless body.

Delta Governor was utterly shocked. He had not even noticed how the man had been killed in a matter of seconds, especially when there was not even a weapon in the rabbit-masked man’s hand.

‘Replay the event,’ Delta Governor ordered his suit.

The mech-suit immediately replayed the events through his visor, reconstructing every movement from the moment the battle began.

Delta Governor watched the footage again, this time in slow motion. His eyes widened when he finally saw it clearly.

Lackey had moved almost instantaneously, his body crossing the distance in a blur before he swung his hand with terrifying speed. The sheer force and motion of the strike had allowed him to rip the man’s head away as effortlessly as though it were nothing.

‘Oh… so that’s his ability. Increased physical speed… Commander-level, perhaps?’ Delta Governor nodded inwardly, his surprise slowly turning into interest.

‘A bloodline that can increase one’s movement speed… hmm…’

He hummed thoughtfully before glancing toward Beta, who was also watching the Arena without taking her gaze away from the arena.

Delta Governor clicked his tongue. “If I had known he possessed this kind of ability, I would have brought him myself… Fuck it.”

It was not entirely his fault, either. The other world possessed countless bloodlines, and they had encountered many different types over the years. Unfortunately, most of them were utterly useless to people like them.

Because of that, they were not interested in spending their precious Aevum on every new bloodline they encountered. Only on rare occasions did they find one worth acquiring.

And many had fallen for the same mistake.

Delta Governor was one of them. He had wasted a considerable amount of Aevum purchasing supposedly extraordinary bloodlines, only to discover that most of them were practically useless in their world. After being disappointed one time too many, he had stopped buying them altogether.

Delta Governor shrugged. “Whatever… He won’t make it into the Tournament anyway. I already sent my own soldiers. They’ll make sure he doesn’t advance.”

Beta slowly glanced toward him. “Are you sure?”

Delta blinked and looked at her. “Oh? So you actually believe he’ll make it into the Tournament? How amusing…”

A faint grin appeared beneath his visor as he leaned slightly toward her.

“How about we make a bet? If he gets killed, you spend one night with me.”

Beta remained silent for several seconds, her expression unreadable behind her mech-suit. From the slight tilt of her head, however, it was obvious she was practically rolling her eyes.

There was no chance she was falling for such an obvious trap.

“What? I thought you believed in him,” Delta said, his grin widening. “Don’t tell me you’re already losing confidence—”

“Please stop behaving like such a child,” Beta replied in a completely deadpan tone. “That is the most pathetic trap I have ever seen.”

Delta’s hand slowly tightened around the armrest. His visor flared brightly as his irritation became impossible to hide.

“Bitch… one day, I’ll make you eat those words.”

Beta merely scoffed and shook her head. She genuinely could not understand how someone like this had become a Governor.

Delta fell silent after that. He turned his attention back toward the Arena and quietly stared at Lackey, his gaze becoming colder beneath the glowing visor.

‘Just wait and see… By the end of today, I’ll watch that bastard get cut into pieces.’

The announcer summoned another participant into the Arena.

Lackey lazily yawned as he watched a woman step onto the battlefield. She held a strange weapon in one hand, its barrel pulsing with concentrated energy as she immediately aimed it toward him.

The moment the fight began, she did not hesitate.

“Take this!”

She fired the pulsed beam at him with all her strength.

BOOM!

The explosion swallowed the area in an instant.

Blood and flesh splattered everywhere.

Delta blinked before breaking into laughter. “Hahaha… loser.”

Beta was taken aback in horror and was just about to move away when she suddenly stopped.

Lackey was standing there perfectly fine.

Everyone in the Arena looked confused for a moment, but then they realised the blood splattered across the battlefield had not come from Lackey at all.

It had come from the man he had killed moments earlier.

Lackey used that man as his meat shield… the man’s body blasted into pieces, and all that was left were his robotic arms and legs.

The woman raised her weapon, preparing to fire again, when—

Chuckk!!

A robotic hand suddenly shoved itself into her mouth and pierced through the back of her head.

“…”

A dead silence fell over the Arena.

It was not as though they had never seen anything worse. This was a bloody tournament, after all, and everyone had entered knowing that the battles could become gruesome.

But this was different.

Seeing Lackey casually use the defeated man’s robotic arm as a weapon against the next opponent felt disturbingly wrong.

Lackey smirked as he slowly pulled the robotic hand out from the back of her head, fragments of brain and blood spilling onto the ground.

“Next, please.”

He said it coldly, without even the slightest change in his expression.

The announcer called for another participant without hesitation.

The next opponent entered.

Lackey killed him as well within a matter of seconds.

Then another came.

And another.

With every opponent who entered the Arena, the brutality of Lackey’s methods became more extreme. At first, the spectators had been shocked. Then they had become uncomfortable. Eventually, even the people who were accustomed to bloodshed began exchanging uneasy glances.

It was becoming strangely disgusting.

Like this one.

“Die, Die, DIE!!”

The opponent screamed as he unleashed a barrage of weaponised drones toward Lackey.

Dozens of machines swarmed through the air, firing concentrated shots from every direction.

Lackey simply raised the metallic arms he had taken from the previous corpses and blocked the incoming attacks with them.

The drones continued firing, but Lackey remained completely unfazed.

Then his gaze dropped toward the bloody ground.

A severed head lay nearby.

A strange smile slowly formed beneath his rabbit mask.

Without warning, Lackey snatched the head from the ground, disappeared from his opponent’s sight, and reappeared behind him.

Before the man could even turn around, Lackey shoved the severed head straight into his ass.

Literally forcing it into his body.

The opponent let out a strangled groan as his body convulsed violently. His eyes widened in disbelief, and his body eventually went limp; he died… while a head was in his ass.

“…”

Silence spread throughout the entire Arena.

Except for one sound.

“Hehehe~”

An uncanny laugh echoed through the Arena.

It was none other than Lackey.

He stood among the corpses, surrounded by blood and shattered machinery, his rabbit mask facing the spectators as though he were genuinely enjoying himself.

“Next, P~L~E~A~S~E~!”

!!!

A chill ran through everyone’s spine.

For the first time, the spectators were not simply disgusted by what they were witnessing.

They were unsettled by the man himself.

There was something dangerously wrong about the way Lackey behaved. He was not merely killing his opponents. He seemed to be enjoying how uncomfortable everyone became whenever he did something increasingly grotesque.

Delta Governor fell silent for a moment.

His previous amusement had completely disappeared.

Another opponent entered the Arena.

And Lackey killed her.

Then another.

And another.

With every new opponent who stepped forward, Lackey’s brutality escalated further and further.

“N-No… No, no, no, please… I-I cannot—Chuckk!!”

“NO! NOT MY MOUT—AARRHH!!”

“MY EYES!!! GOD!!! MY EYES!!”

“Hehehehe~ Hehehehe~”

Only an uncanny laugh echoed through the Arena, mingling with the cries of pain, the metallic crashes of broken weapons, and the sounds of death.

“…”

Beta was utterly flabbergasted.

She sat completely still, staring at the enormous display before her as Lackey continued moving through the Test Match as though the battlefield belonged to him.

She had expected him to be strong.

But this?

This was something entirely different.

Her eyes remained fixed on the rabbit mask, trying to understand the man hiding behind it. There was no hesitation in his movements anymore, no visible concern about the number of opponents standing before him.

He simply killed them.

Again.

And again.

Like a mad devil!

A single thought entered her mind.

‘He is a god… right?’

Beta’s expression slowly became more complicated.

‘And… what about staying low?’

She remembered their original purpose for bringing him here.

And now,

“Hehehe~”

Only Lackey’s laughter echoed through the Arena, as though he had completely forgotten why he had originally come there.

The more opponents he defeated, the stranger his behaviour became.

He no longer looked like someone trying to qualify.

He looked like someone enjoying himself.

Meanwhile, news of the monstrous figure in the Test Match began spreading faster than anyone could have imagined.

It started with a few spectators.

Then a few dozen.

Then hundreds.

People throughout the Colosseum began whispering about him.

“Hey, have you heard? There’s a monster killing everyone in the Test Match.”

“Huh? What do you mean by monster? Is it a real monster or something?”

“No! It’s a slave that Governor Beta brought, and that thing is killing its opponents left and right!”

A nearby spectator turned around immediately.

“Wait, Governor Beta personally brought him?”

“That’s what I heard.”

“Are you serious? How many has he killed?”

“They said it’s already way past 150, and the number keeps rising exponentially.”

“WHAT?! That’s impossible!”

The first man shook his head rapidly.

“I thought the same thing, but I saw the footage myself. He barely even uses a proper weapon.”

“What does he use, then?”

“Whatever he can find.”

The man swallowed before continuing.

“Robotic arms. Broken weapons. Pieces of armour. Even parts from his previous opponents. He just grabs whatever is lying around and uses it against the next person.”

Another spectator stared at him in disbelief.

“You’re telling me he is still fighting?”

“Still fighting? He hasn’t even slowed down.”

The man shuddered slightly before continuing.

“Man, you should see the gore. Even we’re surprised to see that someone could die like that. I almost feel sorry for his opponents.”

The whispers echoed through the corridors of the Colosseum, spreading awe, disbelief, and curiosity among the spectators.

At first, people merely talked about the strange participant.

Then they began looking for the nearest display showing the Test Match.

Eventually, people started rushing toward the Arena itself.

For them, the Test Match had never been particularly interesting.

It was nothing more than a beginner’s stage designed to flush out the weak before the real Tournament began. The strongest participants usually saved their abilities for later stages, while the weaker ones were eliminated before they could ever reach the main competition.

There was little prestige in watching it.

Little excitement.

Little reason to care.

But this was different.

A participant had already defeated more than 150 opponents, and his victory count continued to climb.

People wanted to see him.

They wanted to know whether the rumours were exaggerated.

They wanted to see what kind of monster could turn a simple Test Match into a massacre.

More and more spectators changed direction and hurried toward the Test Match Arena.

And slowly, the Test Match that nobody had cared about began drawing a crowd of its own.

Meanwhile, in the Main Arena—

“YAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!”

Thousands upon thousands of screams erupted throughout the enormous Colosseum.

Unlike the Test Match, the Main Arena was where the real Tournament began.

Every seat surrounding the vast battlefield was filled with spectators, their voices blending into one deafening roar.

The enormous display screens suddenly shifted, showing the massive entrance gate as it began to part.

The metallic doors opened slowly.

A dark silhouette appeared behind them.

Then—

A black-tailed mech-suit stepped forward.

“ALPHA!”

“ALPHA!”

“ALPHA!”

“ALPHA!”

The crowd erupted even louder.

Thousands of voices chanted the same name, their enthusiasm shaking the enormous structure.

Holographic banners floated above the spectators, displaying Alpha’s insignia and various symbols of support as thousands of people watched her enter the Arena.

Some spectators raised their fists.

Others activated glowing projections around themselves.

Even the enormous screens displayed her name as she walked forward.

The atmosphere was completely different from the Test Match.

This was the Tournament.

The tailed mech-suit walked across the battlefield with a casual yet cold demeanour, each step carrying an unmistakable sense of confidence.

Her attention remained fixed on the spatial crack in the centre of the Arena.

The cheers gradually became quieter as spectators realised something was about to happen.

Alpha stopped before the fractured space.

For several seconds, she remained completely motionless.

Then she slowly raised one hand toward the crack.

The moment her hand pointed toward it, the fractured space trembled.

A low distortion rippled through the Arena.

The crack widened.

Reality itself appeared to split apart as the distorted space stretched open, and a thick black mist began swirling out from within the rupture.

Then—

“RROOOOARRRRRR!!!!”

A violent roar erupted from inside the black mist.

The sound shook the entire Arena.

Several spectators instinctively stepped back as the roar rolled through the Colosseum like a physical force.

From within the swirling darkness, a monstrous white creature slowly stepped forward.

One enormous leg emerged.

Then another.

Then another.

Until all five legs pressed heavily against the Arena floor.

Its monstrous white body finally emerged from the fractured space.

At the centre of its forehead was a huge, glowing Origin Crystal.

The crystal pulsed with immense energy, casting an eerie glow across its white body and illuminating the surrounding black mist.

The creature slowly raised its head towards Alpha and,

“RROOOOARRRRRR!!!”

The roar exploded across the Colosseum once again.

And this time, the entire Arena erupted.

The Tournament had officially begun.
