Chapter 3033: 3033. Like A Child Farmer

"I think I can appraise it now, but I might need to ask for permission." Walker calmly spoke while the fog of water mana moved around them. It wasn’t scary or terrifying in any way.

The size of this dual earth and water elemental plane was shocking but the fog was abnormal. That much mana moving around and causing there to be a complete blockage of mana that Walker could not see though? That was abnormal in many ways.

However, it was the living feeling from that mana and how it moved that told him and Su that this was not just some small place. Some small basic movement because their mana came in contact with it.

It was intelligent and started to move toward them because they had come near it and it was tentative. probing. curious.

"I am going to use a skill on you so I can understand what you are. I hope it does not offend you." The moving manas slowed and stopped but the mana was calmer. Like it was no longer trying to block him as much as before.

’Intelligent spirit plane

This is a being made of manas within the chaotic outer elemental plane.

They are rare and very few have ever been seen when they are moving through the unknown. This is due to the fact that they rarely gain enough intelligence to properly control their movement. They also rarely have the ability to protect themselves even with intelligence, further making them live short lives and often degrade in to a simple mixed elemental plane.

They would have been an elemental spirit, however, the elemental spirit forming accidentally absorbed the entirety of the mana within the elemental spirit instead of becoming a central figure for the plane such as a will like the elemental kings that govern the united grand elemental planes known to many.

This being is an entire massive elemental spirit made of multiple mana, they hide their presence so that they do not need to fight powerful beings and they can easily defeat the waves of chaotic manas moving through the area. They also do not house or protect living species other than plants due to the complex nature within their bodies.

They are known to create strange and odd materials and plant environments within their spirit bodies as they learn about what they themselves are. They also have a surprising ability to communicate using mana.

They may not have knowledge about races or other similar societal aspects, however, they are very respectful to peaceful living intelligent beings if given the opportunity. They will often be extremely curious which causes them to befriend some powerful beings and even act as a very intelligent pet...’

Walker did not have the sense to read out loud all of the massive appraisal that appeared. He could sense that the intelligent spirit plane had openly shown everything because it was kind. It also was not desiring to hide much of itself since it had already begun probing Su and Walker’s mana.

"It has more than water and earth mana too. It has fire mana, life mana, and some space mana within its body. It is using them to make a strange swamp like environment and I can see some blue flame cattails growing within its body." Walker was curious too.

On the other hand, Su was looking at it like it was a wondrous being.

She had gone in to a very peaceful dungeon for meditation and understanding of her internal state. She had done so to grasp her standing as a half dragon. To accept the dragon side and human side mixed perfectly together. To understand what race she was and the potential path of growth she could undergo.

The same peace she found there she also sensed in front of her..

It was pure and it was untainted. A general desire for peace and acceptance so that harm and cruelty were so far from it that it could be called a safe haven or tranquil utopia.

"My name is Su, thank you for letting us speak with you. We have never met someone like you. I can tell you are very old and well traveled. If you would allow it, may we meditate within your created territory to understand your mana and learn?" This shocked Walker.

He had no clue that she would consider asking something like that. Let alone have the desire to meditate. Then again, she was on a journey to discover more about herself. It made some sense regardless of how surprising that Su would want to be in a unique environment to examine herself and class.

"Allowed." The word was transferred through mana clearly, the intention of safety even greater.

"I know you may not need much, but I have some herb seeds I can leave you in thanks." This caused the mana to surge and wrap them. Walker’s proposal clearly excites the intelligent spirit plane.

He could understand that it would need to bring more mana in to itself to grow. But more so, it was incredibly in touch with what it was and what life it fostered within its strange elemental plane body.

Meaning that offering it new seeds that it could not develop or create on its own was something that would greatly interest and be a major chance for self growth in terms of the biodiversity it cared for. Walker was even curious if caring for more plants and forms of nature that worked with the manas it was made of would help it grow on different paths overall.

As they took in the change in environment, Walker realized the unique fire swamp atmosphere was perfect.

Plants could enjoy the humidity while the sparks of flame buried away areas and allowed them to grow. The misty air was clearly the created consciousness of the spirit itself. Allowing Walker to sense the connection and sense of curiosity. Not to mention safety, that within itself assisted him in his desire to remain here.

"I am going to walk, I will be ready to leave after some private time enjoying the peace here." to Su the peace and safety seemed to be the key to grasping the shield intent. It perfectly connected to her desire to protect and foster the life of others.

"I am sharing seeds and trading." Walker already removed the swamp plume lily pads. They were an interesting plant that captured fire mana and used that to float to the surface before bursting in sparks to spread more seeds.

The mana carried water currents, bringing a few seeds of blue flame cattails. It also drafted a few twigs that would grow something called swamp prison trees.

This is the stem of a tree that grows in a cage like pattern. It will start with one stem after it degrades and perishes, from there it spreads again from various broken stems to grow larger.

The pattern often traps other organic matter and rocks wherever it grows making it appear that it puts something in prison. It only can grow in humid swampy environments with standing water.

The fruits from its branches are small and potent in water mana but also may carry decaying dark mana and deep earth mana depending on the season that the fruit is harvested...’

He was interested in the tree because he saw that the mana contained within the fruits would change depending on the season. Meaning that different fruits for different elemental affinity monsters could be harvested. The tamer’s guild would find that amazing and useful for them since they needed specialized food for their tamed monsters.

He felt the manas move more and pulled out another small bulb. "This is called a fading spark lily. It is not very medicinal, but it attracts fire mana in to its flower. It blooms releasing the fire mana and creating a small spark before the flower falls apart and a new seed that can grow in to a bulb appears. It takes about a year to grow too."

He felt the excitement in the mana. He was clearly making this living elemental plane happy. He also felt that it was more similar to meeting a young gardener or farmer.

The excitement and joy from discovering new plants to harvest was there. But the hardness from harvesting field after field of crops over many generations had not set in making them seem rugged and toughened.

He also contemplated the environment and how this was an accidental happening for the spirit took it from something often small to an entirely massive elemental plane where its entire body was the plane itself.

He wondered how it was possible and what sort of sentience it truly was. The luck and uniqueness that came with it entirely was simply amazing. Let alone the fact it survived for so long out here.

It was a lot to take in.
