Chapter 3041. Bring Everyone Out

Chapter 3041: 3041. Bring Everyone Out

"Onyx suggested that?" Now Gil was taking his turn to be confused. Remey had just finished telling Walker not to make weird jokes like this too.

"He did, he worked on what he needed for his people and he has everything progressing without his need for input. He learned a lot from Scylla about how her guard captains would operate without her. That is something she excels in."

Walker stopped before mentioning that Scylla was so good at that because the battle forward war strategy she also excelled in was one of the core reasons she has the best delegation abilities.

He also knew all too well that she also prioritized being ready for any combat situation and that was why Onyx’s village had so many serpents prepared for scouting and patrolling compared to others.

Not that this was a bad thing. They did live a bit further away from Genesis than others so any assistance they needed would take longer to get there. But it was also important to note that a couple of older light and dark dragons had taken up residence nearby since they had an interesting relationship with one another. They wanted their hatchlings to grow in an area with an abundance of both manas.

"I also think that when he heard me say that Su and Midnight were training he understood that he could be left a little behind. He had responsibilities that demanded his attention, but everyone and everything is moving quicker. People are pushing themselves to grow to be able to stand on their own feet. They don’t need us all the time to help."

Gil looked at the leaving adventurers and archery instructors. They had all gained a lot but also brought up many interesting theories. One of them had even started to sketch the forms that Gil took for archery trying to connect them.

The drawings were a side skill that the man had because his mother had been responsible as an archivist for a long time. Therefore, he had always been making images and pictures of areas he scouted as a scout archer. But now, it paid off to see the stances that Gil took and the motions he moved through to connect each movement while developing new missing pieces to all the movements combined.

In the end it had helped enough that Gil had an extremely rough version of what he believed the high elf archery technique was and how he could keep tracing it back to the ancient elf arcane archery technique that was a foundation for the elven archery style as a whole.

"You know I can’t leave. What if Alma-"

"She had one of my golem bodies permanently helping her right now. Gil, she said that if you don’t make sure you have something to show for the archery theories that are directly related to the origin of the elven race as a whole, she will come to handle you herself. She said the number of documents related to the idea that the elves can reclaim original foundational skills and techniques from their ancient ancestors has become much too great for even her to stress."

This made Gil recoil in surprise. He had not expected that whatsoever.

"I bet it’s because some of the elf herbalists, spirit speakers, and elders realized that they could get stronger by relying on their roots. You know how stubborn the elf elders are. This is the perfect chance for them to realize that they are right to be stubborn but also for the next generation to build on that and grow. They realized that their older ways won’t be forgotten. They wouldn’t say that though. The elder dragons would never say anything like that either. They are all stubborn like that."

"Remey has a point too." Walker and Remey looked at Gil waiting to hear a proper response.

"I have a feeling it’s also because a few of the elders trying to stop some of her projects have backed off when they heard about this." The long sigh came from Gil in the way it explained everything.

Everyone faced the stubbornness of others at times, especially when they were trying to push forward a new ideal. But the resistance always was the challenge. This immediately could change resistance to education arguments that Alma was overall just done with because it was too stressful and she had other focuses as well.

"Perfect then." Remey raised her hands and pointed at Walker who knew exactly what she was intending.

"I’ll get some extra supplies. Just be ready when Onyx gets here since he wants to take a longer walk about rather than teleport." I’m a blink Walker was gone and the two were already making moves to prepare.

"The others are going to come? Gil isn’t thinking of testing that skill again, is he?" It was fair that Su worried Gil wanted to try the skill that got him hurt last time. They’d all seen the damage that chaotic mana did to him.

"No, it’s to establish a better mana environment to test the skills he and I were working on. Then he will head back and break it down to the basics of basics that it originated from."

Walker kept going, explaining the training in more detail. "If we can manage to find the high elf archery style, then he should be able to keep going backwards to the very origin of the elven skills they used to make archery their primary combat style. From there they can explain why certain traditions originated, how the ancient elves thrived, and maybe find a way to progress their very original base skills today."

"Everyone should bring more snacks!" The request from Midnight was the only thing she said, but she bounced a little in place proving how happy she was to see and hear that the others would be able to come and adventure with them.

"I have the other golem bodies that can place items in storage and move them here. It costs a lot more mana but I can easily do that." Walker sighed again, but then looked toward Su, "This won’t be an issue with what you are training? I know you wanted to journey more alone."

He was very worried that this would hold her up, yet she shook her head right away. "I have already started to think differently. I found the methods I needed and I accepted what needed to be accepted. Now I just need to work on growing it." Her determination did not waver whatsoever. She actually appeared to be glad that she could share this mentality of protecting more than just people but ideals and future growth.

She also seemed more interested in showing the stability of her beliefs and determinations. Proving to her family that they would not need to worry about her as she pursued her own vision of herself in the future while still standing true to what she desired to accomplish.

Many people could learn from how Su changed her thinking and pushed through the negative side of her emotions related to bonds. But the idea was not the same for everyone. Not a single person would truly follow the same methods or path to accomplish self enlightenment or self understanding.

The key here though, was that Su seemed more interested in sharing these things with the others. Most likely because she had more than just accepted everything she was struggling with.

She had just needed a more isolated place to fully take the step needed. Not the world she was used to, but a place she was not comfortable with. She had needed the manas pressing on her and the uncomfortable feeling of growth to properly push her mind and body to be where they needed to for the next steps.

"We are going to explore something bigger right?" Now this caught Walker’s attention. Midnight seemed to have an idea, but the distance she was looking at did not see like it was something simple. But bigger came with a lot of potential.

"Those clashing elemental planes? They are chaotic and balanced all at once. I don’t know what might be attracted there. It’s not quite a feast for powerful monsters but it would attract some predators." He could see and sense the distant manas clashing.

Every bright pulse of mana and vibration of space proved the danger there. While he was confident that they could withstand that, this was something he could not leave his golem body to do.

He was still testing them and making sure he could handle that. But his maiden body had better resistances and better skills to buff the others that he had a fine tuned control of. He did not want to put them all at risk in a bad way he could not bring them from.

"I will come first with the others. Just rest here for a bit."
