Chapter 4456: Rift II

Chapter 4456: Rift II

"Miss, can you put down my order, please?" I asked the frozen girl. "My apologies, Prime Arys," she replied and put my food down.

"Are you going to it?" she asked. Everybody who was in the restaurant had disappeared. Flew toward the sky where the rift is forming.

"It will take a while, and there is no need to waste the food that the chef had cooked," I replied.

The next moment, hundreds of storage devices came out of my core and flew out of the restaurant, with one going to the girl in front of me.

"Thank you, Prime Arys," she replied gratefully and walked out of the restaurant.

I had promised them powerful storage devices that would allow them to store stuff. There is a lot of stuff they want to bring out that will help them in their journey once they get out of this place.

Here, those storages would last for two days, but that is enough once they are out of this place.

Those storage will last for centuries and millennia if they take good care of them.

I watched her leave and begin to eat. Though I stopped and looked up. It is Chef Amer. "I don’t want to hurry you, Prime, but I hope you will finish it in half an hour."

"I want to take this beauty with me back to the world," he said. "It’s a good choice. I am taking my cottage as well," I replied. The man smiled and walked away.

I finished my lunch in twenty minutes before walking out of the restaurant.

I didn’t fly up immediately. I first collected my cottage before flying up While I did that, the gate shook from its place for the first time, and flew up in the sky.

Soon, it appeared beside me, and we flew toward the rift and stopped when we got close enough.

I stopped, while the gate kept flowing toward the place where the rift would be appearing. It doesn’t need to get there soon, but it will not hurt.

It might even help; the gate has very powerful spatial functions. It will collect the data.

If something is, I will know.

I want to leave this place as soon as possible, but I will not. If I am sure, I will not survive. However, that can’t be said about many of these people.

Over 90% of the people have gathered by the rift and are now looking at it.

"Every second of waiting was painful," said Prime Rava. "It is not final yet. We need to be fully sure, it’s safe, before we use it," I replied.

To that, she shook her head.

"I don’t think it will matter to most people. Even I might not be able to stop myself," said Avana. I didn’t say anything to that, because I know it’s the truth.

Minutes passed, and more people arrived till the whole village appeared. And the cultists.

I am surprised, seeing how quickly all the cultists have gathered. Everyone is present. For the past few months, nobody was allowed to leave.

People also didn’t leave because they knew the rift could appear at any time.

I looked down and saw that a lot of buildings had disappeared, including the cottage beside mine. Many people are taking their homes with them.

It’s not surprising; these people have been living in them for hundreds of years and have grown quite attached to them.

Though some couldn’t take their mansions, the storage is big, but they are not big enough to take those massive palaces. They will be here.

Time passed, and finally, the line appeared, and soon, it began to expand.

I looked at the data, and a small frown appeared on my face.

"What is it?" asked Avana worriedly, with every eye turning toward me. "The rift is stronger than the last one," I replied.

"It will be a problem?" asked Prime Karamiv. "No," I replied.

The power of the rift won’t be a problem as long as it is not twice as powerful as the most powerful recorded rift. I had worked hard on this tool, improving tremendously.

The resources, like a red-sartil, had made it even stronger and stable than I had originally designed.

Soon, the rift began to open up. It is slow, but it begins to get bigger with every second, until it reaches the full size.

The moment it did, all eyes turned to me.

"Prime Arys," said Prime Gold. I nodded and walked toward the gate, and begin to look at things. It didn’t take me over a minute before I turned to the three.

"The rift is good. I will need a few minutes to make some adjustments before I activate it." I replied and a smile bloomed across the faces of all.

"I will begin closing the village," he informed, and turned to the village.

"You all have one minute to get anything you want from the village. Once I closed it, it would be done," he stated, but nobody moved.

The next second, formations lit up across the whole village.

We might leave, but the village would remain for those who will arrive after us. There will be a beacon, through which they will easily be able to discover the village.

They are leaving behind a lot of things, including resources, books, medicines, and even healing tools.𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

The gate will also be here, after we leave. It will go back to the village and recharge again. Ready to be used by those who arrive later.

Unlike these people, who waited for a millennium to leave. They will have to wait for a few years at most.

They will be able to leave at every rift.

I had also made sure that only native people would be able to leave. If some Grimm or Itornas tried to leave, they would suffer a very bad fate.

Though it needs to work, I am 90% sure it will, but there is still a 10% chance that something could go wrong.

It is why I am making adjustments to reduce the chances of that.
