Chapter 4488: Deadly Attacks

BANNNG BANNNG BANNNG!

The beams have reached me and clashed against my shields, that had been become visible as the attack touched them.

The deafening sound rang out and large ripples created across the dome. I felt them and it shook me in my place; the attacks are powerful than I had thought.

Though, my shield bearing them and destroying them.

The ripple that was fast slowed down before started disappearing slowly.

Seeing that, I sighed and my cloak disappeared as I faced the eyes looking at me in shock. People are shocked as well as the monsters.

I was so close, but they didn’t discover me. If not for the stray attack; they wouldn’t have discovered me at all.

It is why, I removed the cloak. This ability of mine is known. So, hiding is no use here.

Raor Raor!

A moment passed and the monsters reacted. They roared, before the boar came toward me charging.

Seeing the momentum and power that is concentrated on its tusks, I want to dodge the attack, but I can’t. It might be slowest of the four monsters, but it is faster than me.

So, I have to defend whether I want it or not.

BANNNNG!

The boar crashed hard across the dome. Sending a massive ripple across it filled with such power. it forced me to take a step back while blood leaked out of my lips.

"Fuck!" I cursed as I wiped away the blood coming lips with back of my sleeve.

This is dangerous attack and my clones are trying to whittle its power as soon as possible, but it’s not easy given there is a power of four freaking laws in the attack.

Roar!

’I need to get out of here, fast!’ I thought, when the monster roared and attacked again, sending another powerful ripple across it.

I shook and drank back the blood.

I defended and pushed down the blood that came up to my throat, before looking at the monster which had become very angry.

I took the step back to leave while it attacked again. Harder than before.

BANNNG!

I nearly tripped. Powerhouse like me never trip, but its attacks are hitting my soul. If the shield hadnt been protecting me, the attack wouldn’t have obliterated my soul along with my body.

I stabilised myself and took another step and another. The monster roared and kept attacking, but I didn’t stop.

"Prime Arys, save us!" the woman screamed. "Please!" pleaded the man.

I didn’t want to stop; it’s too dangerous, but I felt my legs stopping and I turned.

"Came toward me," I said to them as I started to walk toward them. I shouldn’t do this, but I am moving to help them with the risk of my life.

I can be such idiot.

As if to say it is true, the big white cat turned toward me. it is stronger monster here and now is coming toward me with its claws blazing.

I wanted to run away hard, but I controlled the urge and didn’t stop.

The big white cat appeared in front of me in an instant, before its blazing claws filled with the power of the four laws clashed against the dome.

BANNNNG!

The claws clashed against the shield. They came with such power, that I nearly collapsed before vomiting the blood.

I looked at biggest ripple and it isn’t just the ripple this time, but also the cracks, that spread behind it as it covered more and more dome.

Soon, those cracks covered all my dome, while clones tried to deal with the power and make changes in formation to guard it better against the energies of the big cat.

If that wasn’t bad enough, the next moment. The big attacked again, with the boar.

BANNNNG BANNNNG!

The two attacks hit at nearly same time from two different direction sending the two big ripples that increased the cracks further onto the dome.

I looked at it as I stabilised myself.

I wated to run, but it’s too late. So, I did, the only thing, that could increase my chances of survival. I closed my eyes and entered my core.

There, I saw all my clones working on my shield and I joined them.

The situation is precarious. If they kept attacking, then it wouldn’t take more than half a minute for them to crack through my shield.

That would be the end of me. I don’t want to die. I want to die in battle, not while I was being foolished.

I pushed those thoughts and begin working with my clone.

Yes, things are bad, but not bad enough that there is no chances of survival. There is.

My defensive method is powerful and it is mouldable. Changes could be made to handle a specific level of power. It increases defensive ability of the shield against such attacks.

That is a good new, bad news is, that I have only few minutes in dilation to manage that while monsters attack me constantly.

It’s not easy, when I am getting injured and feeling deep pain.

I pushed that with the back of my mind while I focused on the formation in front of me.

I am focused on law formations; they are part of my defence and they are very good. Now, I only tweak them a little. So, they would deal with these combination of the laws better.

The energy is trouble too, but that is being handled by a single clone.

The energy wild and powerful as it may be, but formations are very good in dealing with.

Seconds passed and turned into minutes, while outside, more and more cracks formed on shield. It had scared me death, but I pushed my mind away from it and focused on things that could save me.

Time passed and the dome had come in the verge of collapse.

I wanted more time, but seeing I didn’t have any. I decided to go with changes, I had made with my clone and got out of my core.

The runes changed and I looked at the attacks.

Both of the monsters are coming at same time. if it didn’t work , their attack break the dome. If it did, it will not.
