Chapter 4489: All Inside

BANNNNG BANNNG!

The two attacks hit with power greater than before; even monsters seemed to realise that they had to make this attack count if they wanted to kill me.

The attack hit the shield hard, nearly making me collapse, before creating a large ripple across it.

I watched with bated breath as the ripples spread.

Already, every inch of the sphere is covered in cracks. If more cracks appeared, the sphere would not be able to bear the additional stress.

I watched the ripple spread, but the cracks didn’t appear behind it.

Instead, the ripple begins to whittle fast, and the cracks begin to heal. Seeing that, the great relief couldn’t help, but spread into my heart.

Roar Raor!

The monsters roared and launched another powerful attack.

Their attacks, even more powerful, clashed against the sphere, but were not able to make more cracks appear on it.

Slowly, the cracks begin to heal despite their constant attack.

I didn’t move immediately to help the two. Instead, I closed my eyes once more. Currently, I am barely able to bear two monsters attacking together.

If I save those two, there is no doubt that all four would attack me. I need to make enough changes that my sphere can withstand the combined attack of all four monsters.

That is a tall order, but I have to do it, or I will get myself killed with those two.

Their condition is bad enough that they couldn’t even come close to me.

The monsters are not letting them do that, which is a good thing. If they had come and four monsters attacked them together, I would have been in a world of trouble.

Time passed, and the monster continued to attack, while I remained on my face, with my eyes closed.

I remained as such for a while before opening my eyes. All the cracks have vanished; the sphere has become stronger than ever against their attacks.

I don’t know whether Sphere will be able to bear the attacks of four, but I did what I could, and now it’s time to save those four.

Roar Raor!

I took a step forward and another. The monsters roared, seeing that, and intensified their attacks.

That didn’t stop me; they might stop those two, but as long as I am in the sphere, they won’t stop me. I could seem to be moving, using the counterforces.

The monsters may be attacking me, but they are not attacking from the same side.

If they had, it would have been troublesome.

Finally, I reached the man with a staff, and he was fighting hard to defend against the monsters’ attack. He is in bad condition, bleeding from nearly every part of his body.

"Be ready," I said, before he could ask, I stepped forward.

The sphere passed through, taking him inside at the same time. The attack of the Hare reached the sphere along with the attacks of two monsters.

BANNNG BANNNG BANNNG!

I shook while powerful ripples spread across the sphere. Even faint cracks appeared for a moment before they disappeared.

"Thank you, Prime Arys. Without your aid, I would have died," said the man as he wiped the blood from his lips.

"We are still in danger, Prime Tamar; thank me when we get out safely," I replied and walked toward the woman facing the wolf.

The three monsters roared and attacked intensely, wanting to break through my sphere, but all they managed was to bring a few cracks in a moment.

"The wolf seemed to understand what was happening," said the man beside me after he finished drinking potions.

"The monsters are not idiots," I replied and moved faster. I am moving as fast as I can, but the attack of the three monsters made it hard.

I am slower than before, but I am trying to move as fast as I can.

Seconds passed after another, and I reached close to the woman about to call, when the monster did something unexpected.

The large white cat initially moved away from attacking, but then it attacked the girl, along with Wolf.

"Bastards!" the man cursed.

I didn’t say anything and moved left, before turning right. The woman is trying to come close to me, but the monsters are stopping her.

It had become a game of sorts, with life on the stake.

The woman is good; she is defending against the attack, but she is also getting injured. She wouldn’t be able to defend for long if the monster kept attacking her like this.

I am responding as she moves and even took help from my clones to get her inside.

The monsters did not let me, but I finally got the chance. I didn’t waste even a moment and leaped forward with the sphere.

The sphere came between the wolf’s attack and the woman, before taking her inside.

Now, all the monsters came at me.

"Thank you, Prime Arys," she said, but I didn’t reply. I am focused on four attacks coming at the sphere from the monsters.

BANNNG BANNNG BANNNG BANNNG!

They hit nearly the same time, making me vomit. I would have collapsed. If not for the man beside me holding me up.

"Will it be able to hold?" he asked.

I didn’t reply. I looked at ripples spreading, and behind them were cracks. They spread, before stopping and starting to heal.

Seeing that, I felt relieved, but a moment later, another set of attack came, more powerful.

’I need to leave as soon as possible,’ I said to myself and turned. I am feeling so weak and moving is the last thing I want to do, but I have to.

The sphere is barely able to defend against them. If they bring out something or another monster appears, the sphere won’t be able to defend itself.

So, despite feeling jelly legs, I moved toward the mist covering this space.

The monster tried to stop me, attacking me from all sides. It slowed me, but it didn’t stop me. I kept moving and finally reached the mist.

This is not the end; the monster could follow me. It would be hard to get away, but things would improve as I got out of this space.
