Chapter 4490: We Survived

I took the step forward, entering in the dak mist.

BANNNG BANNNG BANNNG!

The attacks didn’t stop, they kept coming, just as intensely as earlier.

"We were too hopeful," said the man and I sighed.

I kept walking, controlling to dome to defend against their attacks, which are just as strong, but now the shield is handling them better.

The load on it had decreased as we got out of the space.

It might not seemed like it, but there was immense pressure in there. Now, the strain had lessened and I could redirect that power to defend against the monsters.

Soon, we were about of the mist. So are the monster attacking the dome.

Their attacks continued while I moved forward. I wish, they would stop.

Even now, their attacks are putting an immense strain on me and injuring me, but looking at the attack, they are no mood to do that.

I have to hold on, until they give up. It won’t be easy, but it is only option I have.

I just hope, things don’t become worse. I am barely handling these four; a further pressure would be deadly.

I had just thought that when I had, when I sensed a monster. It had sensed the battle as well as it came toward us before stopping at distance away.

It is very powerful, but there is a difference of power between it and four that are attacking us.

The same with the two beside me; they could handle it, but the not the four monsters. They are extremely powerful, that only three in the realm capable of defeating.

It didn’t came, but it followed behind us; the monster also sensed it, but they didn’t even glance it.

All their focus is on the breaking through the dome.

A minute passed and then another. soon, over ten minutes passed, when a change appeared in the dome.

The cracks have stopped appearing and soon there is none, despite constant ripples of monsters attack.

It isn’t just improvement in formation, but also effectively using power of monsters attack to defuse the attacks of others monsters.

I have bene doing that since the beginning, but it had now become even more efficient.

It filled me somewhat relief, but it is false relief. I wouldn’t be a truly relieved. Until, I was able to get away from these monsters.

"Should we try to kill them?" asked the woman. "We might be able to injure them, but killing them would be hard."

"Instead, use this time to recover as it will be only choice we will have if the sphere fails," I replied. I cannot continue forever. Especially under such assault

If they followed me till the end, then I will have to think about a ways to escape.

I had already thought some and had asked my clones to refined them. I will not die and unlike before, I have a little more confidence and a plan.

I pushed those thoughts away focused the monsters.

I am still hours away from reaching my limit and a lot of things could happen in that time.

An hour passed and then another, the monsters are still attacking us, with a group of weaker ones following from behind.

The two beside me have recovered enough, that they will be able to use their full strength again.

"I hope, we will be able to get out of here alive. I have got a lot of resources and my comprehension had made a massive progress as well." said the man.

He is already at the Peak of Prime and his law comprehension is also very good.

I think, after mediating over the gains for a few months. The man would start preparations for the Silver Prime. It will be same for woman.

It made me feel little jealous, unlike them. I am far from Prime breakthrough.

I shouldn’t feel jealous. I am already progressing very fast. There are very few could be compared to me in speed of the progress.

"We will," replied the woman looking at me.

I didn’t say anything, not because I am focused on defending which I am, but I don’t know whether we will be able to safely get out of here.

The only thing, we could do is try.

Another hour passed and I sensed more monster, but I noticed, not all of them are following us. Most of them would only follow for short while.

They are not following us beyond their territories. They might have, if these four hadnt been attacking us.

These four are extremely powerful and they, with them attacking us; there is no chance in hell, they will be able to get even hair of us.

The monsters are pragmatic this way.

Soon, it’s an afternoon and the monsters still following us. A lot of improvement had been made in the shield, but the time I could last hadnt changed much.

I am getting tired by the minutes. By the time evening came, I wouldn’t be able to hold on to my shields.

I am preparing for everything, but I am scared. The other options are a lot less dependable than the shields.

I was thinking that, when suddenly. The wolf stopped attacking.

The other monsters roared at it, but it growled back and a moment later. It ran back toward the space; killing the unfortunate monster that came in its way.

"A monster left," said the man with shock and hope appearing in his eyes. I am shocked as well, I hoping for it, praying for it, but didn’t expect it would happen.

The monsters attacking us for hours; I didn’t think any would leave before killing us.

There are three more, but I kept hope in my heart and a few minutes later, it lit up as the Hare stopped.

A few seconds later, it too had ran away.

The monsters have learned the lesson from the last time and ran away; a very few had stayed behind and even the at a distance.

"Only two had remained," said the woman. "One," I replied as the next moment, Boar stopped attacking and ran away.

Roar!

The big cat roared at angrily and turned to us. I thought it would attack. Instead it roared at us with unwillingness before followed behind the boar.

"We survived," said the man with relief flooding in his voice as the monsters disappeared from our senses.
