Chapter 4525: Limit

My body pierced through the water as I swam upriver.

Its water is flowing gently, but despite that, it is putting an immense strain on my body. I am tired, my breathing is heavy, and my muscles are burning.

I have sealed my physical strength and am not using any energy to swim.

It is just pure physical strength and nothing else.

It had been years since I felt such bone-deep exertion, and it made me feel alive. Rarely do I think such exertion; it is why I am doing it.

The power of Prime makes one feel like a god. It is healthy to feel like a person again.

It is one of the things the teacher suggested I do to stay grounded.

My physical power is sealed, but not my energy or soul power, both of which are grand enough to vaporise this whole river in an instant.

I have no intention to do that; this is a beautiful river, and the whole island is stunning.

I have been here for a month, and I am loving it. It’s an island with no disturbance. I could enjoy the scenery, focus on my practice, and talk to the two.

This is helping me at my work. I am making good progress in my inheritance.

Minutes passed, and finally, I reached the other end of the river and swam to shore. When I reached it, I stopped with every part of my body burning in pain and exhaustion.

It was truly hard, but I did. It took several tries to swim from one end to the other, but I succeeded.

I took deep, even breaths; they hurt, but I didn’t stop. I kept taking one breath after another. It took a few minutes, but finally, the burning became manageable.

A few minutes later, I am only feeling tired.

Seeing that, I opened the seal on physical strength and immediately everything vanished. I could have done that moment, I got to the shore, but I wanted to feel the aftereffects.

I stayed by the river and watched the sunset before finally walking away.

I could have flown to the manor, but I walked and didn’t take the stone path; I walked through the forest. Watching the animals as they moved around.

I didn’t use the stealth; they could sense me, but not a single one had dared to come at me.

Like everything on the island, each monster is carefully selected, keeping in mind the cycle of life. There are hundreds of things like this on the island.

One could see how much thought Prime Syvar had put into this. Primes do not invest such time, unless they really love the things and she does.

Soon, I reached the manor.

I didn’t see Prime Syvar or Dynvar in the hall, but that is normal. Aside from evening at eight, we do not see each other. Especially Dynvar, who usually stays at her suite.

Which is not surprising, given she is preparing for Silver Prime.

She will be doing that until she feels confident of her chances of breaking through.

I stepped into my room and closed the door before activating the formation disk. I am not the only one doing it; both Dynvar and Syvar are also doing it.

It is not the issue of trust, but caution, that is born out of thousands of life and death experiences.

I closed my eyes and entered my core. I looked around before walking toward the library.

My core is producing a lot of resources, the repository is getting bigger every day, but unfortunately, I can’t sell any of these resources.

I really want to, not because I need to buy something else. I nearly have everything I need, but a lot of people could benefit from it.

These are scarce resources; some are extremely hard to grow.

There are a few resources here that are only present in my core. Many times, I wanted to do it discreetly, and it is extremely hard to sense the forbidden power.

There is a huge chance it wouldn’t happen, but I cannot take that risk, even when the chance of getting caught is minute.

I reached the library and entered.

I sat at my table and began working on my inheritance. I am making good progress, but there is still a lot of work to do.

I didn’t waste any time and began working on the formation I had been practicing before I went swimming.

It is a complex formation and a very big one. It also fuses one; if I am able to convert it into a complete formation of ancient, it will provide me with tremendous power.

Unfortunately, I do not have enough expertise to manage it. Even if I did, I wouldn’t have enough power to run.

Though when becoming Prime, I would need it to be completely ancient runes.

It wouldn’t be easy, nor would it be what I expected. The Prime Inheritance would be my most difficult one, beyond anything I had ever done.

Hours passed, and soon it was eight. I wrapped it quickly and walked out of my room.

At eight every night, there is dinner. It is the thing I look forward to most, not only for the food but also for the conversation.

It is hard to find people of the same level and have an intelligent conversation. There are people, but not the ones I could trust; these two are trustworthy, and I like them.

One and a half hour later, I returned and went back to my core and started working on my inheritance again.

I did it till midnight, before walking out of my core and stepping into the practice room.

The clothes on my body disappeared, and tentacles pierced from inside. A moment later, thick solution entered inside me.

As it filled me, I began the dance of ukasanovar: fast but graceful, until the energy arrived. The moment it did, surprise appeared on my face, before the smile lit up.

I have reached the limit.
