Chapter 1218: Genesis Stone
Chapter 1218: Genesis Stone
Aurora arrived exactly one day later.
I had spent the previous day finishing everything I needed to finish in Abor. There were no grand farewells this time. I had already said what needed to be said, and everyone knew that I would return. Still, when Aurora appeared inside the Absolute Palace, I felt a strange sense of finality.
Just the feeling that I was stepping into something I could not turn away from anymore.
Aurora looked at me for a moment before giving a small nod. "Ready?"
"I am."
She smiled faintly. "Then let us go."
The moment her words fell, the surrounding space warped.
I had traveled through space countless times. With my current strength, traversing galaxies was no longer difficult, and with Echo Reversion, I could move even more efficiently by reconnecting with the echoes of places I had previously visited.
But what Aurora did was completely different.
The instant her Authority spread around us, the entire concept of distance seemed to lose its meaning.
Space folded.
Then folded again.
My surroundings became nothing more than countless overlapping fragments of light, stars, galaxies, and dimensional layers flashing past us so quickly that even my perception struggled to follow them.
I instinctively expanded my senses.
Then immediately realized that I was barely keeping up.
Aurora was fast.
Far faster than me.
At least six or seven times faster.
That realization alone was enough to leave me quietly stunned.
I had already reached the pinnacle of the Saint Realm. My existence density had increased tremendously, my Soul Force had undergone a qualitative transformation, and even my understanding of Laws had reached Level 10 across seven Major Laws.
Yet when I traveled alongside a true Demi-God, I finally understood how ridiculous the difference could still be.
This wasn’t simply a matter of having more energy. Aurora’s Dream Authority was changing the very way she interacted with space. Distance was no longer something she needed to cross in the same way I did.
It was something she could simply redefine around herself.
I didn’t say anything. There was little point. Instead, I quietly observed everything around me as we continued moving.
After some time, even my perception began losing track of how far we had traveled.
Then Aurora suddenly slowed down. The endless stream of distorted space disappeared.
I looked ahead.
There was a world floating in the distance. At first, I thought something was wrong with my perception.
The planet appeared.
Then disappeared.
Appeared again.
Then disappeared once more.
It was simply blinking in and out of existence. For one moment, there was a planet.
The next moment, there was nothing. Then it appeared again as if it had never vanished.
I narrowed my eyes and extended my perception toward it. I immediately sensed something strange surrounding the entire world.
"This world is surrounded by my Authority," Aurora said beside me. "It is one of the transition points I use to reach that secret dimension."
I studied the planet carefully. She simply raised one hand. The moment her fingers moved, the entire planet stopped blinking.
It became completely stable. For the first time, I could clearly sense its existence.
Aurora lowered her hand.
"Come."
She moved forward.
I followed.
The two of us descended directly toward the planet. As we approached the surface, I expected us to land somewhere. Instead, Aurora continued downward. The ground beneath us separated naturally.
There was no explosion. The earth simply moved aside.
Soil, stone, mountains, and everything else seemed to part like water before us as we descended deeper and deeper into the planet.
I looked around as we passed through layer after layer of the world.
It was strangely peaceful.
Aurora’s Authority seemed to prevent anything from resisting our passage. Eventually, the surroundings became darker.
We had passed far beyond the planet’s surface.
Then I sensed something enormous beneath us.
The planetary core.
We stopped just above it. The core was massive, glowing with tremendous energy, yet Aurora paid no attention to it.
Instead, my eyes immediately fell upon something suspended above the core.
A formation.
It wasn’t particularly large. In fact, compared to the planet beneath us, it looked almost insignificant.
But the moment my perception touched it, I understood that it was anything but ordinary.
Aurora reached into her storage ring. Nine objects appeared beside her.
They were weird crystals. Each one was roughly the size of a human head. At first glance, they looked like ordinary pieces of crystalline rock.
Then I sensed the energy contained within them.
My expression changed immediately. The amount of energy inside a single stone was terrifying. It wasn’t merely dense. It was compressed to an absurd degree.
If one of these stones were to suddenly explode, the resulting energy would be enough to completely kill a Mid-Level Saint.
And there were nine of them. I stared at the stones for several seconds before finally looking toward Aurora.
"What are those?"
Aurora glanced at them.
"These are called Genesis Stones. They are fragments left behind from the birth of the universe."
My eyes narrowed.
"The birth of the universe?"
"Yes."
She moved one of the stones toward the formation.
"When the universe was first born, the initial explosion of creation did not form everything perfectly. Countless fragments of condensed primordial energy were scattered throughout the universe. Most disappeared over time. Some became part of worlds, stars, or other structures."
She paused.
"These survived."
I looked at the nine stones again.
"So that’s why they contain so much energy."
"Exactly."
Aurora placed the stones around the formation in a precise arrangement.
"They are extremely rare, but they can still be found throughout the universe if one knows where to look. More importantly, their energy is sufficiently close to the universe’s original state to interact with certain dimensional structures."
Her gaze shifted toward the formation.
"And only Genesis Stones can provide what is required to open the passage to that secret dimension."
I understood. The secret dimension wasn’t somewhere that could simply be reached by breaking through space.
It required a key. And these stones were part of that key. Aurora finished arranging the nine stones.
Then she raised her hand. The formation beneath us immediately came alive.
Light began flowing through its countless lines. One Genesis Stone after another lit up. The energy inside them started flowing into the formation.
For a moment, nothing happened.
Then space above the planetary core began twisting. A small distortion appeared. It expanded. Within seconds, the distortion transformed into a massive vortex.
The vortex rotated silently, its center completely black while countless strange ripples moved along its edges.
I couldn’t see what existed on the other side.
Even my All-Knowing Eyes couldn’t immediately perceive beyond it.
Aurora stepped back.
"This is where we part ways."
I turned toward her.
"My job is done here," she continued. "I have to return to the Prime Galaxy."
She looked at the vortex for a moment before turning back toward me.
"From here onward, you are on your own."
I nodded.
There was nothing more that needed to be said.
Aurora smiled.
"Good luck, Billion."
I gave her a small nod.
"Thank you."
She stepped aside.
I took one final breath. Then I stepped into the vortex. The moment my body entered the black center, space swallowed me completely.
And in the next instant, I vanished from the strange world beneath the planetary core, leaving Aurora alone behind me.
