My Talent's Name Is Generator

Chapter 1239: Testing New Powers

Chapter 1239: Testing New Powers

I left Prime Fate soon after my conversation with Amun and immediately headed toward the eastern sector of Prime Galaxy. According to the information I had received, the highest-grade rift currently active within the galaxy was located there, and the situation had already become serious enough that the forces stationed in the region were almost entirely composed of high-level Saints.

I moved through the void at a speed that would have been impossible for me to imagine before becoming a Demi-God, crossing enormous distances in moments as the stars around me blurred into streaks of light. The deeper I went into the eastern sector, the more traces of battle I began to sense, until the peaceful silence of the void was eventually replaced by waves of violent energy.

When I finally arrived, I did not immediately reveal myself.

I stopped in the darkness of the void and looked ahead.

The battlefield stretched across an enormous region of space, with countless soldiers from the Prime Galaxy fighting against the forces that had emerged from the rift. The armies gathered here were clearly not ordinary forces.

I could see warriors from countless races fighting together, their different Laws and abilities mixing across the battlefield as they tried to prevent the Eternal forces from pushing farther into Prime Galaxy.

Above them, enormous warships moved through the void while powerful Saints fought in every direction, and flashes of Laws illuminated the darkness like countless stars being born and extinguished at the same time.

At the center of the battlefield, I noticed the commander.

It was a Naga warrior.

Or at least, that was what he had originally been.

He had completely transformed into his true form, becoming an enormous serpent whose body stretched across a distance comparable to half the planet below us. His massive scales shimmered with a dark metallic light as he twisted through the void, fighting three Peak Saints from the Eternal side at the same time.

Every movement of his enormous body created violent waves through space, and the three Peak Saints were forced to work together just to keep him occupied.

Yet that was not the only battle taking place.

Farther below, countless Phantoms and Abominations were fighting against the Prime Universe soldiers. The strange creatures moved through the battlefield like an endless tide, while the Saints attempted to cut them down before they could reach the defensive formations protecting the surrounding worlds.

I watched everything for a few moments.

Then I expanded my perception.

It spread through the entire battlefield in an instant.

Every soldier, every Phantom, every Abomination, every Eternal Saint, every Prime Universe Saint, and even the enormous rift behind them all entered my perception. Nothing escaped my senses. I wanted to make sure that there were no hidden enemies waiting outside the main battlefield before I acted.

I stepped out of the void.

The moment my foot touched the battlefield, I released a small portion of my aura.

I had not even intended to exert pressure.

It simply happened.

The effect was immediate.

The entire battlefield went silent.

The countless attacks that had been filling the void ceased. The warriors who had been charging forward suddenly stopped. Even the enormous Naga commander froze in place, his massive body suspended in the void as his three opponents stared toward me.

For several seconds, nobody moved.

Then one of the Phantoms screamed.

"Demi-God!"

The sound spread through the battlefield.

"It’s a Demi-God!"

"Run!"

The Phantoms and Abominations closest to the rift immediately began fleeing toward it, abandoning everything else as panic spread through their ranks. Even the Prime Universe soldiers were stunned. Many of them simply stared at me with their mouths open, apparently unable to believe that a Demi-God had appeared in the middle of their battlefield.

I ignored all of them.

My gaze moved toward the Eternal forces.

I raised one hand.

The Origin of Time trembled beneath my control.

There was no complicated technique.

No elaborate movement.

I simply looked across the battlefield and spoke one word.

"Freeze."

Time obeyed.

The entire void stopped.

Every Eternal Saint froze exactly where they stood. The Phantoms and Abominations stopped in the middle of their movements. Even the Prime Universe soldiers were caught within the effect, their bodies becoming completely motionless. Weapons remained suspended in the middle of swings, attacks stopped halfway toward their targets, and the enormous Naga commander remained frozen alongside the three Eternal Peak Saints he had been fighting.

Even the rift itself seemed to become still.

I looked across the battlefield.

For the first time, there was no resistance.

The next ability I tried was the Right to Decay.

A strange force spread from me without any visible form, moving across the battlefield and covering the Eternal forces.

The weaker soldiers did not even have time to react. Their bodies immediately began breaking apart.

Skin, armor, flesh, and bones rapidly withered before collapsing into countless particles of ash that drifted silently through the frozen void. The stronger Saints managed to resist for a few seconds. Their bodies began aging at an unnatural speed, their powerful existences struggling desperately against the Authority that had descended upon them.

It made no difference.

Their bodies continued to decay.

Wrinkles spread across their faces. Their flesh dried and their strength rapidly disappeared. One after another, the powerful Saints who had been fighting only moments ago lost the ability to resist before their bodies finally crumbled into ash.

The entire Eternal army disappeared within moments. I looked toward the enormous rift.

It was the source of all of this. I raised my hand and pointed toward it.

Then I slowly clenched my palm.

Space around the rift immediately began to tremble.

The enormous spatial wound struggled against my control, its edges twisting violently as countless Laws attempted to maintain its existence. A deep, groaning sound echoed through the void as the rift began collapsing inward.

I continued tightening my fist.

The rift shrank.

Its enormous opening became smaller and smaller until the distorted space around it finally converged into a single point.

BANG!!

Then it disappeared.

The eastern battlefield fell into complete silence. I lowered my hand.

Only the Prime Universe soldiers remained.

For several seconds, none of them seemed to know what they were supposed to do. I looked across the battlefield and understood something immediately.

This was going to be much easier than I had expected.
