Chapter 2986: The Realm of Oceanus II

"This is the Forbidden Ocean! Even the fiercest of the Scylla have never survived without losing their draconic tentacles there! Granted that they can regenerate but that is a place that cannot be ventured into just because you want to." Altum stated as he knew that going there is no less than accepting death.

"I thought that you liked the rough waves and the adventure?! Do not be such a coward now." Adrian stated as he made a grabbing gesture in the air and then Altum’s position suddenly shifted back to be close to the former.

Adrian grabbed Altum by the fin which made him unable to squirm free. He looked like a floundering fish trying to escape a fisherman that caught him. Adrian was about to create a portal for them to enter when the lake waters suddenly swallowed them whole.

Adrian and Altum suddenly found themselves in a dark part of the lake or rather in a body of water with no end in sight. They could easily tell that the place they are in is in a divine domain or at least one created temporarily. The one who created this domain is none other than the God of the Deep Dagon.

"Greetings, mediator. I am sorry for the sudden abrupt invitation but I hope that you would overlook it this once." The God of the Deep Dagon stated as he appeared as a serpentine oar fish since he only created a temporary domain where only a small portion of his divine will can manifest.

Adrian also knew that this water is not really water hence why he can open his mouth without any problem and no water will come in. It is different for Altum though as he could be seen swimming despite Adrian not being wet at all. Adrian knew that this should be important if the God of the Deep Dagon would actually sacrifice some of his divine energy to have any manifestation in the world.

"Please speak freely, God of the Deep Dagon. You are now one of the gods of life that we manage and it is our duty as mediators to hear your thoughts." Adrian stated.

"I managed to see the location that you have marked on the map you have given to my champion and I should warn you that the place you will go to is not as simple as an ocean." The God of the Deep Dagon stated.

"I figured as much since the thing that I am going to take there is the Aqua Elementum." Adrian stated which made the God of the Deep Dagon shudder as if he could not believe what he heard.

"Is it true that the Aqua Elementum is there, mediator?" The God of the Deep Dagon asked once more just to make sure that he was not hearing thing.

"I am sure because I even used the ley lines to track them itself. I am now hunting for the parts of the Jotunn creation relic after all." Adrian stated.

"I guess that stubborn and rigid old fool has given it to you as a quest means that he trusts you fully." The God of the Deep Dagon stated.

"Why did you call for me, God of the Deep Dagon? I would like to know as I am pressed for time as the world is currently in a chaotic situation right now." Adrian added.

"Apologies, mediator. I was supposed to say that Altum is not ready to be in treacherous waters..." The God of the Deep Dagon stated but Altum suddenly made a reaction.

"That is correct! I am not ready!" Altum stated as his voice cut off the speaking God of the Deep Dagon.

"But I believe that he is the best candidate for this quest. My champion would surely be able to finally break through to at least the demigod status if he ventures with you to the Forbidden Ocean: Realm of Oceanus." The God of the Deep Dagon stated which made Altum react in disbelief as he thought that his patron god would persuade Adrian to not bring him but he did not.

"My God! Why have you betrayed me?!" Altum stated as if he experienced incredible sorrow.

The God of the Deep Dagon in his current form then generated electricity and shocked Altum but it was only a playful shock that can make him wake up from his forming delusions. In the end, Altum did not really grumble but only playfully made remarks as he will go with Adrian. He is not someone that will abandon his guild leader just because it is difficult.

"You said that this place in the map with the coordinates is called the Realm of Oceanus. Are you implying that this place is where the Titan Oceanus resides? Also, it is considered a divine realm as well?" Adrian stated.

"You are correct, mediator. Since you are basically training my champion for me, I shall tell you something as well." The God of the Deep Dagon stated as he told Adrian about the current situation with the Titan Oceanus.

Adrian learned that the Titan Oceanus has closed his waters which means going now might offend him. Also, it is now a place where lesser divine sea beasts are going around as they were told they can attack any beings that dared to trespass beneath the water surface. They do not touch the boats that said through it but they will attack anyone that dives into the ocean.

"Thank you for the information, God of the Deep Dagon. I know that this is now something that you can easily do. May I infer that there is something in the Realm of Oceanus that is good for your champion?" Adrian stated which made the God of the Deep Dagon stopped from playfully shocking Altum.

"You are correct, mediator. The Realm of Oceanus is the most treacherous parts of the deep waters that even my Deep Ones do not survive easily. The Titan Oceanus designed it as such because the ocean is a cradle for life and death. He is also rather special as he will reward any being that reaches his realm without any special means of teleportation. If you and Altum can go there then he might be able to get that energy stone that can only be found on the lowest part of the ocean." The God of the Deep Dagon stated.

"I do not think that we would be met with any problems because I already notified him in advance." Adrian stated which actually shocked the God of the Deep Dagon.

’I did not know that the mediator has such extensive network. Please refer me when you meet him as I rarely chat with other gods of the deep waters. The others are usually very quiet and tend to just be by themselves." The God of the Deep Dagon stated which made Adrian chuckle as this extroverted fish man father wants companions to listen to him speak.

"I will try to insert you in the conversation but he will need to go there first." Adrian stated.

"Yes. Which is why I am now using the remaining divine energy of this form to give you the highest blessing I can give for the deep waters." The God of the Deep Dagon stated as the oarfish body coiled around Adrian and Altum before exploding into divine energy.

[You no longer feel any resistance when in deep waters.]

[You will gain the ability to breathe underwater for seven days.]

[Swimming Speed has been increased by 200%.]

[The Blessing of the Deepest Waters will be applicable to the user for one week.]

"Thank you, God of the Deep Dagon." Adrian stated as they were now sent back to the top part of the lake where they were talking.

"Are you not going to swim away anymore?" Adrian teased.

"I was just messing with the guild leader. I will never let you go in deep waters alone. This will be the greatest bro adventure!" Altum stated.

"It will not just be the two of us that will go though." Adrian stated which made Altum think of any other member of the guild that can travel the deep waters with them but they were all away in their own quests.

"Just follow me as we will need to meet her soon." Adrian stated as he opened a rift that swallowed him and Altum together.

At the edge of the Forbidden Ocean, the arrangements that the Titan King Kronos is using has already started. The cult that Stagnant Water has created handled the shipment of monsters from all parts of the world. He took control of an entire seafaring company using the help of the Titan King Kronos.

No one even bothered them even if they used magic to use the underwater route as this was promised by the Titan Oceanus himself. The Titan Oceanus would ignore what the Titan King Kronos is doing as long as his domain is safe.
