Chapter 3003: Forbidden Ocean: Realm of Oceanus I

Adrian felt the pull of the tide on his body as it was the thing that sucked him inside the gate. The gate’s passage looked entirely made of enchanted water that has spatial properties. He marveled at something like this as it was a spatial gate created for underwater travel. It has a different concept compared to the magic used by the Daemos. He was not able to check it clearly as the gate spat him out after a few seconds.

The world on the other side of the portal is vastly different from the deep oceans they traversed. If the deep ocean on the other side of the Forbidden Ocean just has normal amount of life, then this side actually has numerous life readings. Not only is the ocean here more lush with underwater life but it is also very colorful. The sight of seeing the numerous corals, weeds, and even strange vegetation makes this place an underwater paradise.

"The only problem is that the more beautiful it is then the more dangerous it actually is." Adrian stated as he let go of Wisteria who is being carried by his hands.

Wisteria shifted to a larger form that could carry Adrian and also made sure to create an environment on her back that forces the ocean water out. When a large turtle dragon brimming with spiritual energy was detected, two shadows appeared before him. Altum and Renyu could be seen in their battle modes as it seems that they were attacked earlier.

"Are you two, okay? Did something happen while I was being transported here?" Adrian asked.

"We explored the areas around here to scout and we were suddenly attacked by beasts that are more powerful than one of us. We managed to defeat some by teaming up but it was not an easy fight." Altum replied.

"I was only gone for a few seconds. How come you guys already finished battles?" Adrian asked as he did not expect that they would be attacked already.

"Seconds? You were gone for at least twenty minutes." Renyu added which shocked Adrian.

"Time moves differently here!" Adrian stated as he did not expect such a thing to happen in the bottom of the ocean in a forbidden zone.

Adrian expected different time for different worlds but he did not expect that there is a place in the main world that operates at a different time phase. This could mean that a minute on the other side is already twenty minutes on this side. This must be the reason why some of the guards look young despite them saying they were chosen a few years or a decade back.

"They measured the time here and not the time in the real world. The time difference changes everything then. A minute on the other side is already a lot of time here. It means that we could either clear this early or it was made that way because this place is so large that time needed to be different." Adrian stated which shocked the two as they have never been in a place that bent time.

"It seems that you already went to places like this guild leader. Any tips?" Altum asked.

"Stay alive. I cannot really offer much because the Daemos do not really exist in time entirely. We exist outside of it which is why our bodies age differently and is not affected by temporal shifts." Adrian replied as this is the first time he is with other people inside a place with different time dilation.

"Thanks for the words of encouragement then. Where to then guild leader? You need to lead the way here." Altum stated.

"Honestly, my sense of perception here is actually skewed. The map is also not working which means we are going in blind." Adrian replied without a hint of lie.

"I think I can feel something in that direction." Renyu suddenly stated as she pointed to a place where the vegetation is lush with glowing parts which means they are incredibly poisonous.

When Renyu pointed to that direction, Adrian cannot feel anything at that direction at all. There was no trace of divine energy or any energy actually. It just felt like an area where divine energy or any energy has already dispersed. Altum also felt that the area is not something that could lead to meeting a divine being.

"The sketchier it is then the more it is likely. Please lead the way." Adrian stated as he gestured for Renyu to lead the way.

Renyu could not believe that she was heard that easily and even believed without any solid proof. In her previous guild, she would be heard but it would take considerable effort for her to be listened. They always told her that one needs proof before they go to that direction. This made some of her calls be ignored even though it might have been the correct one.

Renyu left her previous guild because they have become more calculating. It was not the same guild as before that just played the games, they were in for fun. She was also being called a glorified signboard for them as she is being advertised as a member of that guild. She could no longer cling to that toxic environment despite it being memorable and lovely before.

"Renyu? Is there something wrong? Did the direction change?" Altum asked while Adrian was also looking at her waiting for a reply.

"Sorry. I suddenly spaced out for a bit because I was trying to make sure that is really the path." Renyu stated.

"Do not worry about that. This concerns the item you need to become a demigod. Probably his too which is why his patron gd pushed for this." Adrian stated as he suddenly laid bare the things that the two were not saying openly.

"How did you know!?" Altum and Renyu suddenly stated as they both looked at each other.

"It is quite easy to deduce why both of you need to go this place. I had my doubts on Altum but the God of the Deep Dagon basically handed him to me without any fuss. It means that there is something here that could help him finally break through.

I also thought as to why you have a mission here, Renyu. The stories that we heard from the blessed guards about special beings that evolved into powerful demigod beings affirmed this. If I am correct, the Titan of the Ocean has the power to help attain the beings of the deep waters a path to become a demigod." Adrian stated.

"I guess there really is no hiding anything from you. You are correct as the previous Merfolk King told me that those that wish to become demigods must reach the domain of the Titan of the Ocean. He has a special item that helps the merfolk achieve such evolution." Renyu stated.

"My patron god also said that there is something being held by the Titan of the Ocean that can help me break the barrier to become a demigod. It is very daunting to the other guild members that the others already became demigods. Now, all of us are aiming for that tier as well. Of course, the lower-level members and those that focus on production are a different matter." Altum stated as he also wants to become someone his friends could depend on.

"I was not going to stop both of you anyway. You guys have no need to explain to me as if you are trying to prove that you are innocent." Adrian stated as he chuckled.

"Anyways, let us go. We do not want the Titan of the Ocean to be waiting." Adrian stated as he smiled and looked beyond the area where energy always scatters.

Beyond the veil of the scattered energy field, beings that have divinity in their bodies could be seen looking at Adrian, Altum, and Renyu. They have been looking at them ever since they have arrived. When Altum and Renyu arrived, the two suddenly became the targets for observation. The monsters that should have been asleep were also woken up by one of them to test the two and they passed for now.

"Do not stare at the demon!" A powerful voice echoed in the chamber which made all those that were gazing at the water mirror look away.

Even the water mirror had to change its observation target to either Altum or Renyu. When the water mirrors targeted Adrian earlier upon his arrival, it actually formed a small crack on its edge. The owner of the powerful voice is none other than the Titan of the Ocean. He also knows that Adrian has a very powerful skill that damages those that dared to gaze upon him.

"That demon is not an ordinary one. You cannot use optical magic on him as it will always backfire. If you are going to observe then it is best to focus on the Deep One and the Mermaid." The Titan of the Ocean Oceanus stated.
