Chapter 3026: Pegasus to Sleipnir

The clash between the Aurora Pegasus and the Sleipnir mirage became fiercer and fiercer with each strike. Even though the Aurora Pegasus is clearly slowly becoming weaker as they are clashing, Frey’s mount is unrelenting as it also wanted to become stronger with its master. What the mount feared the most is it becoming obsolete when its master keeps on becoming stronger.

Frey did not wait for Adrian because she became worried as she knows the state of her mount the best. The Sleipnir mirage is already being weakened by the two mythical tier items that she found but her mount was still being defeated slowly. She only has Adrian a chat that she would go first and instantly bolted.

Frey did not take long to get accustomed to the mindscape of the Core of Sleipnir. It might be due to her mount vying for dominance against it but the mindscape of the pegasus might have started to fuse as well. Adrian only watched the mindscape for a few seconds and could now guess that might be the case. The destruction and restoration are basically a step for the mindscapes of the Aurora Pegasus and the Sleipnir to fuse together.

Frey charged with her spear and her aurora wings on her back with her full battle armor covering her body. She managed to draw out the power of the Valkyrie inside another being’s mindscape despite the limitations. The Sleipnir was about to bit her pegasus’ wings when she pierced the side of the former. The Sleipnir mirage shrieked in pain as any pain in the mindscape is directed to the mind and not the physical body.

The Aurora Pegasus did not miss the chance that its master has given and unfurled its wings. A powerful blast of light hit the Sleipnir Mirage that it got sent crashing down. The Sleipnir Mirage roared as it stood up once again and released copies of itself using the dark smoke rising up from its body. All of the copies of the Sleipnir Mirage have the same attack power but has durability instead of health.

"Leave the copies to me." Adrian stated as he snapped his fingers and a black hole suddenly appeared in the area of the Sleipnir mirage copies.

Unlike before where Adrian needed to create a star and let it explode; he can now create a star instantaneously in a specified area that he wants and make it collapse in an instant. All of his spells and abilities have become more flexible ever since he became a Noblesse. He needs more practice for spells that he rarely uses but all the spells common to him have improved.

"I can even do this now." Adrian stated as he focused and numerous small cracks in space suddenly appeared and created smaller black holes which absorbed the other clones as well.

All of the clones that the Sleipnir Mirage created were all dealt with by Adrian which made Frey and her mount move against the real one. As soon as they knew that the clones would never be an obstacle because of Adrian, Frey and her mount combined their strengths together and charged towards the Sleipnir Mirage without any fear. Frey and her mount could be seen transforming into an aurora streak of light that pierced the Sleipnir Mirage.

When the Sleipnir Mirage was struck, its body got a huge injury and lost three legs in the process. The usual speed that the Sleipnir Mirage had earlier has lowered even more. The Sleipnir Mirage is not bleeding because this is its mindscape which means it will not bleed to death. Still, a considerable drop in power could be observed from the Sleipnir Mirage.

Before the Sleipnir Mirage could move away, a powerful burst of pressure suddenly slammed down on it. Adrian increased the gravity by a hundred to make sure that it remains in place. Adrian is burning his own mental strain in the process but it was incredibly effective as the Sleipnir Mirage could not stand up even if it is its own mindscape.

"Finish it!" Adrian stated as his mindscape body started to fade as it seems the mindscape is rejecting him for using such powerful methods.

Frey and her mount then climbed to the highest peak in the sky and released all of the willpower that they have. Both her and the mount is covered in auroras that they almost looked like a war goddess of light descending from the heavens. Like a fierce comet, the two of them crushed the Sleipnir mirage into dust.

Even the remaining Sleipnir mirage clones that Adrian was holding down have vanished. The mindscape that was fracturing and restoring finally stopped. The ego of the Aurora Pegasus could be seen neighing in glory as it became the ultimate victor. Frey and Adrian then saw the Aurora Pegasus take in all of the energy inside of the mindscape and its entire body glowing.

[You have been sent out of the Mindscape of the Core of the Sleipnir.]

Adrian and Frey only saw a bright flash of light that blasted them in the face before they were sent out of the mindscape. The body of Frey’s mount suddenly became coated in golden light as it suddenly transformed into an egg. Adrian suddenly felt that this should not happen because it should be evolution but what is now happening is akin to rebirth.

"Is this part of the evolution?" Frey asked as she noticed that Adrian has a bewildered face.

"This is not really part of the process because this is something called rebirth. There was a 2% chance for it to happen but I did not think that it would actually happen." Adrian replied but it was now happening.

Adrian then explained what was happening as Frey’s mount has basically turned back into an egg. The egg had an aurora gleam while small wings could be seen attached to it. The egg was also the same size as that of a human which means the size of the being inside should be as large as an adult horse. Rebirth is basically an advance form of evolution for monsters which means they are not just evolving but transforming into something more in line with their evolution material.

"In short, the being that will emerge will be stronger than what we had anticipated." Adrian stated.

"Will it take time?" Frey asked.

"Not really. This should be quicker actually compared to evolution where the body needs to rest. Rebirth Evolution as we call it is body restructuring and all energy needed will be returned back to the body. The only weakening that will happen would be your mount becoming lower in level or maybe turn into a juvenile." Adrian stated.

Before Frey could ask a follow up question, the egg that was her mount suddenly started to crack. Each crack of the egg released a burst of energy that felt cold yet warm. It was the same energy signature that auroras in the world. When the egg hatched, the energy did not dissipate outwards but actually returned back to the being that emerged.

Adrian and Frey could be seen looking at the form of the mount with jaws fully down. What emerged from the egg is still a Sleipnir but is now different. The being before them is still a Sleipnir which is a large horse with eight legs but it was not the same one they fought. The Sleipnir before them has a pure white coat with hair that resembled the aurora.

The ears of the Sleipnir are also small wings instead of actual horse ears. There are also small wings attached to each of the legs as it fluttered. These small wings actually manipulated the wind as the being before them has three attributes which is light, air, and prism. The body of the Sleipnir before them glistened like a diamond when light hits it.

"What is its race?" Adrian asked as this is not something he can see clearly because this is apparently new even fore him. He could use inspect but that would be rude to Frey and he really wanted a conversation anyways.

"Apparently, it is called an Aurora Sleipnir. Here is the data panel." Frey stated.

It can fully control the winds and even gallop in high speeds when its small wings activate. It creates auroras every time it prances in the skies and can also refract the absorb light in its body.
