Chapter 3033: Storm Cloud Ravine Boss Monster

The huge shadow the boss monster casts is not the problem. The real problem is the fact that it could scatter into electric currents. It was as if it was born here in the Storm Cloud Ravine but that should be impossible. The Storm Cloud Ravine is said to have been created by a divine entity in order to seal something as per the records or rumors.

Adrian could already see that the thing that was sealed was the Wind Elementum. The Wind Elementum just so happened to also be sealed in the body of the boss monster of this forbidden zone dungeon. This cannot be coincidence as this place has basically been left untouched ever since it was created.

There was no other choice against the boss monster that could literally vanish into thin air but to prepare for it. A fight against an enemy that cannot be detected is not something that could be prepared for. Even Adrian and Frey know that an assassin that remains undetected is deadlier than a powerful knight. They need to find a way to force the boss monster to appear or else they would be the ones that will die.

"Kimat! Release a powerful disruptive blast!" Adrian commanded as Kimat did as he was told.

A powerful burst of electric shock reverberated in the area and it was the same pressure that Kimat used against the Lightning Weasels. Unlike the effect to the Lightning Weasels, the boss monster was not affected as heavily but it did give them something. A silhouette of a being made of tiny electric currents could be seen not far from them.

The electric current silhouette is large enough and it was avian in shape. The strange thing is that the silhouette actually flew out the range of the area that Kimat pressured. The boss monsters are definitely not something that can be defeated with just tricks and pressure. It should at least be at the same tier list as Kimat since it could move even when existential pressure is applied.

"Any idea on what it is?" Frey asked as she moved closer to Adrian.

"Not really. I cannot inspect it when it is in that form but that form also should have weaknesses. The fact that it has not attacked us yet when in that form I an indicator that it cannot release any damaging moves in that state. It also manifested its real form earlier when it went for an attack which means it can only go at us when its physical body has fully manifested. We just need to flush it out." Adrian stated.

"In that case, I can help with that." Frey stated as she raised her spear and a powerful light is released from it.

The light that Frey released scattered in the area like an aurora and appeared like fractured crystals. The attack was not powerful but it was something that can dispel any beings that take a form that is incorporeal. The being that only had a silhouette suddenly found itself having a layer of crystal light on its body. The form of the monster is now visible for them and they could now see what it truly is.

Monster Name: Impundulu Ventus (Storm Cloud Ravine Boss Monster)

Monster Level: 500

Description: The Impundulu Ventus is a powerful monster that has been said to be birth from the electric currents that go berserk in the world. It is said to summon thunder and lightning with its wings and talons, serve as a vampiric familiar to witches, and feed on blood. It is different from other Impundulu monsters because it has a special sigil attached to it.

The monster before them looks like a large avian monster with a large wingspan. Its wings crackle with lightning and the talons that it has also share the same trait. The color of the feathers cannot be seen as it is only applied with a crystal light coating but one could see a long beak with razor sharp teeth.

"Can we even defeat it?" Frey suddenly gulp as the level of the boss monster has a large gap.

"We should at least try and find out how it fights so we know even more if we die in the first run." Adrian stated as his eyes blazed with the fierce gaze of a battle junkie.

"I guess we have no choice then. Let us at least enjoy this battle to the fullest." Frey smiled as she knows how Adrian likes challenges like this.

Meanwhile at the third layer, a group of three players could be seen taking an herb that floats in the air while emitting a faint divine lightning. It is the herb that Mera was looking for but the quantity was too low to even be used to destroy the seal. He would burn through this supply just by testing the item that he creates using alchemy.

"We have no choice. We need to go to the fourth layer in order to get more. Based on how these herbs are snaking towards the fourth layer, they must have been there originally. The only reason that it is not being eaten by the monsters in the third layer is the fact that its energy signature is so faint. Even I had difficulty sensing it as only someone with a powerful energy sense can detect them." Mera stated.

Adrian actually sensed these herbs but Kimat said that they were not tasty. The reason why there are not enough supply is due to the fact that Adrian took some so he could give it to Brew. These herbs can be used for alchemy after all and Brew always gives his potions to the guild for free which is why there is already a custom of giving him alchemy materials as gifts.

"Do you think the ones that came before us have already died?" Causian asked as some parts of his feathers are burnt once more because of the random lightning strike.

"I cannot say for certain but they should have some fight in them since they could enter the fourth layer without any problem. Then again, we cleared most of the monsters on our way here. Who would have thought that someone else would benefit for our hard work. It is usually us that benefit from such shady practice." Mera stated with a chuckle as he found it ironic.

"I mean... we can still do that now if you want. We have no problem riding on their coattails since they benefitted from us." Kholki stated as they could still make use of the players that came before them.

"Okay then. Get ready to go to the fourth layer. We will look for the items that we need there. We will not charge with our true forms because we are large enough to get the attention of the boss monster. We need to be discreet about it when we enter." Mera stated as they recovered some of their health and stamina.

"We are ready." Causian and Kholki stated.

Causian reverted to his avian form again but he made sure to become smaller but large enough to carry two beings on his back. They pierced through the entrance of the fourth layer and got small wounds just like what Adrian and Frey encountered. The journey through the passage was not difficult but it was met with numerous wounds.

With one final push, Causian managed to arrive at the fourth layer along with Mera and Kholki. They did not savor the sights as they planned to instantly hide once they enter the fourth layer. They believed that the boss monster should at least be busy or healing itself by now as the two players that entered before them have passed quite a bit of time.

What the three Apostles did not expect is that they find two humanoid bodies falling at the same height as them. Mera, Causian, and Kholki could be seen having a shocked face as they looked at Adrian and Frey falling with severe wounds. Adrian and Frey are also shocked to see the three beings before them as they did not expect to see the other party. The shocked faces of the five vanished when a powerful shriek came from the Impundulu Ventus and it sounded like the crackle of lightning.

The Impundulu Ventus’ wings and talons crackled in lightning while the Wind Elementum sigil on its back created a powerful wind vortex that trapped them inside. The Impundulu Ventus was not making them live through this and it is unfortunate for the Apostles of Typhon that they are suddenly caught in such a powerful attack.

"FUC...!" Mera was about to curse at Adrian and Frey when all he saw is white because they were all blasted with lightning while a powerful vortex of wind made sure that they do not escape. Adrian and Frey could only laugh as they already know that they will die here now.
