Omega Summoner

Chapter 3053: The Hunting of Godbloods

What the Primordial Calamity Typhon decreed was not just a simple hunt but an all-out purge of those that have the Blood of the God King Zeus. It was a death sentence to all that have been fathered by the God King Zeus. Even if they do get a being that has been fathered by the God King Zeus, it is not really a sure deal that these beings will have the necessary lightning powers that the god king has.

"Are we really going to snatch all of the bastards that the God King Zeus has fathered? What happens if they are actually very famous and very powerful. We might provoke them and blow our cover in the end." Myrma stated as she knows that this is not just a simple kidnapping and sacrificing.

"How sure are you that you could even get the energy from his descendants? Not all of his descendants recorded in history have the same power as him." Nodal added.

"Of course, that bastard god king will not have a descendant that has the same abilities as him. Any descendant that could wield lightning is actually killed by the God King Zeus himself." Mera stated with confidence which actually shocked the other Apostles of Typhon because killing his own children is a very vile thing to do.

"When you say he kill them, you mean they just die from a young age or from childbirth right?" Phaea stated as she Mera is one that shortcuts his words and intent.

"Pretty much what my cutie Phaea stated. The power of his divinity is so strong that the mother and child always die from childbirth. Even if the God Queen Hera dislikes her husband’s children, she never touches those that have the same abilities as the God King Zeus. At least that is what an ancient tapestry inside that vault we raided has stated." Mera stated.

"So, if we cannot really get a child that has the same power as the God King Zeus then getting the others will not be worth it right?" Namea stated as she already felt that this mission is a waste of time.

"Not necessarily. Who said that they do not have the same abilities as their father? They are still the blood of Zeus which means the essence of lightning and sky should still be in their blood. I will extract them until we have a workable essence that can destroy the Seal of Lightning in one go. Of course, crafting it will take time which is why we must shift every resource we have here." Mera stated.

"We still need to get something to fully destroy the Seal of the Sea as there are still traces of it." Kholki stated as they really do have their hands full as Lernea and Nodal were not here as they were finding the material to break the seal placed by the God Queen Hera.

"The Seal of the Sea will be destroyed in due time as Causian is already on his way to get the last ingredient for the potion to destroy it. What we need now is to have a way to break the final seal since that is a seal that cannot be destroyed unless you havet he divine blood of the God King Zeus or something close to it." Mera stated.

"Since you say so. I guess we will listen to you since this is something that really breaks the last seal." Phaea stated.

"How are we even going to find them though?" Kholki asked as no one really says that they are the Sons or Daughters of the God King Zeus.

The reason why no one is actively broadcasting that they are sons or daughters of the God King Zeus is very simple. Anyone that is related to the God King Zeus that is not a child of the God Queen Hera will be tormented by her. Some of them die while some live to become legends but many actually die in the process.

The God King Zeus is not one to actively help his sired children as he believes that the God Queen Hera’ torment is like a trial by fire. If one of his children endure it and become a powerful demigod then the God King Zeus will welcome them to Olympus. The ones that are weeded out become crippled or die outright in misery.

The God King Zeus is also very promiscuous to the point that the number of children he has fathered cannot be counted by the finger. Only those that are famous can be countered by the finger but those that died are countless. Those that are living in secret and never acknowledging him are even more.

What the Apostles of Typhon thought would be a difficult job is actually relatively easy. They would be able to gather any child fathered by the God King Zeus as long as they have an item that could point. In the end, Mera took out a potion vial that is round in origin with the completed solution inside of it. Inside the potion vial, a plant crackling in lightning could be seen.

"This is what I call as the Bastard Locator. The potion is the thing that is being described and not the ingredient inside of it. The small plant inside of the potion is the catalyst to activate and search for beings that have this energy signature." Mera stated as he gave each a potion vial.

"This thing can locate people that has the God King Zeus’ blood?" Kholki asked as he is was a bit skeptical.

"It is not something that was easy to make but it will point to any being that has the same energy signature in the potion vial. Make sure to never break this as I was only able to create one for each of us. It will glow and point to a direction once you are near a being that shares the same energy signature as it." Mera stated.

"You make it sound like we need to be in a general vicinity of them for this to activate. Also, you even say that some of those children might not be human." Kholki stated with a smile but Mera’s look did not waver at all.

"You are correct. The range of this thing is not good which means it can cover a city at most. Also, you are also correct because that Zeus does not just go after women. If he thinks another beast I so beautiful then he would transform to that beast and copulate with it." Mera stated as a fact which made the other shut up.

"He really has that saying that every hole is a goal. Just acting like that makes our master having to kill him suddenly become a good deed. Is he not someone that is better off dead?" Myrma stated as she believes that the God King Zeus is a scourge to all women.

"He should be castrated as he would even target beasts!" Phaea stated.

"Anyways, that god will not stop in his ways as he has a special ability to even bypass the divine barrier and descend to the mortal realm whenever he pleases. All of you should focus on the central continent at the moment. I am sure that there are a lot of bastards of Zeus here." Mera stated.

"If Mera says so then there should be many." Phaea stated.

"Remember that even monsters could be bastards of that god. If it is a monster that cannot be handled by you alone then we will group up to take it down. Monsters have more connection to their blood compared to humans. Also, I am more accustomed in using monsters as materials." Mera stated.

With just these words, the sudden hunt for the bastards of Zeus or Zeus Godblood has been carried out in secret. All of the Apostles of Typhon were also briefed for this operation when they returned to the dungeon. A series of bizarre cases of missing persons have circulated but the affected people were not really famous or have any standing.

The Apostles of Typhon made sure to only abduct those that have no one else to save them. Some even used to raze an entire village to take one so that there are no witnesses. The disappearances were also not happening in one location but in several locations in the central continent. Little by little, the beings that had some connection to the God King Zeus has been found.

Mera could be seen grinning ear to ear as numerous beings before him were screaming with terror. Mera casually killed one of the abducted people and have their blood be collected. The others that have been caught can only await their deaths and lost all light in their eyes.

"One human can only give a few drops of that godblood essence. Then again, the number of test subjects here are a lot. If gods can have sicknesses, then the God King Zeus should have kidney deficiency by now. He even has an eagle as a child which means those stories about him were true." Mera stated with a light chuckle.
