Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1036: Hell Road (2)

Chapter 1036: Hell Road (2)

They all saw death coming from a mile away. However, instead of running, they pulled out their weapons, thinking they could make a difference.

So he arrived, and with him, death...

"Idiots... You think your petty tricks will work on me?" Kent smirked, feeling his strength drop by 30% when he entered the City of Chains.

"KILL HIM!"

Shouts came from hundreds of thousands of hell demons waiting to end him as he entered the city.

[What a bunch of idiots. Haven’t you heard the phrase... ’In front of absolute strength, all schemes are useless...’]

Gaap said as Kent increased the number of Blood runes to 2,000, and, as if the 30% debuff were nothing, Kent channeled his flame qi through the sword, causing Gaap to feel energized.

Kent moved at a speed so fast that before anyone could register his movements, hundreds had died.

"Formation!"

A chainfiend commanded, and thousands of chainfiends formed a hand sea...

Wait a minute... Let’s pause for a moment to analyze this before we continue.

Chainfiends are hell demons with no hands but rather hooks for arms. The weak ones have two hooked arms. The strong ones have three hooked arms, and the terrifying ones have four hooked arms.

The city lord has four hooked arms, showing his stance in the city.

So if these beings have hooks for arms, then naturally, they can form hand seals. Or what do you think?

Of course, since the hook is their arm, they technically have hands; so, well, back to the battle.

They formed hand seals, and a formation appeared in the air.

From the center of this formation, a thick chain shot out with terrifying force. However, Kent merely swung his sword, and the chain shattered.

But it didn’t stop there. He pointed forward, and a beam of fire blasted out, killing dozens of chainfiends.

Kent was then forced to move back, as another chain burst out from the ground. The moment he moved back, a chainfiend burst out from the ground, and another stepped out of thin air.

"Too slow."

Kent first moved toward the one who came from the ground and cut off his head, before turning to the one who materialized from thin air.

Kent’s speed was just too great.

However, he wasn’t yet moving at his top speed. If he did, thousands would die in seconds. However, something keeps making him hold back...

And so, just like every army, they first sent the weak ones to the slaughterhouse. Naturally, that worked to Kent’s advantage.

He needed a lot of blood essence to strengthen his Blood Core gate, so he could further strengthen himself.

As more chainfiends approached him, the formation began to solidify. This caught Kent’s attention, so he began killing those who were powering the formation.

However, after killing a few thousand, the formation only seemed to grow much stronger with each kill.

’This is odd. It seems the formation is growing stronger.’

[Indeed. Does this mean the more we kill them, the stronger the formation grows? If that is the case, then this is a dangerous formation, even for you.]

’I know. However, I cannot help but want to see how strong this formation can get,’ Kent smiled weakly, knowing it wouldn’t end well.

[This is a bad idea.]

As expected, Gaap saw through his plan and decided to stop the bastard before he got himself killed.

[But then again, learning how this formation works and perhaps how to create it will allow me to hijack it and make it yours.]

Of course, a sane person can never walk with another sane person. At the end of the day, only two crazy people can walk together.

’Then we have a deal. Until the last minute, we will never stop.’

[Deal]

Kent resumes killing, further strengthening the formation.

Meanwhile, inside the Chained Palace, the City Lord Zorvak smirked, watching this display... "Keep going. The more you kill, the better for me."

He smirked before taking a sip of Hell wine.

The ’Dominion of Chains’ is the trump card of the City of Chains. Once deployed, as more people die, the formation strengthens.

Ultimately, the attacker can only surrender, as the formation grows stronger to the point where they find it increasingly difficult to counter.

So watching hundreds of thousands of chainfiends being killed by Kent was like a movie to him.

Throughout the other twelve levels of hell, viewers could see through this formation and recognize it as a dangerous one. However, watching Kent kill more chainfiends left them wondering why he wasn’t stopping.

"Maybe he is not aware of the nature of this formation."

"I think he knows, but he just doesn’t care. Naturally, he is telling everyone his strength is more than enough to handle the formation."

"Just look at the chains popping out. Naturally, he will soon be surrounded by them on all sides."

Kent was indeed being surrounded, but he wasn’t panicking as one would expect. He was merely increasing his speed by activating more flame veins.

No matter how many chains there were, with his speed, nothing could stop him.

---

Three hours later, there were thousands of chains dangling, shooting, and swatting at Kent from all sides.

’How are we doing, Gaap? I am 40,000 flame veins deep here,’ Kent asked, and his sword responded.

[Just give me one more hour.]

Kent nodded and fired up 10,000 additional flame veins, and like a blur, he continued to kill again.

Thirty minutes later, Kent had to add 10,000 more, bringing the total to 60,000 flame veins. The entire City of Chains had become its name.

There were hundreds of thousands of chains on the battlefield. However, more chainfiends kept going to Kent. It got to a point where they were merely throwing themselves at him to be slaughtered.

Of course, Kent welcomed it.

However, when the time for Gaap to come through was nearing, Kent felt a chain slam into his back, sending him flying backward.

’Formations are the worst.’

Kent smiled and then, using the soul map, he teleported from the path of another chain. He then moved back, and before the chains dangling toward him from his left could close in, a voice came from his sword.

[Now, now... Play along.]

The chains came to a stop, and Kent, who was in the process of cleaving through a chain, paused, and then his grin widened.

He placed the sword on his back and waved his hand, causing the chains to move in the motion of his hand.

"Would you look at that?"

"NO!"

From within the Chain Palace, City Lord Zorvak stood up, his expression dark. He just felt it; his hold on the chains had been broken. In short, he no longer had control over the formation.

Kent looked in his direction and smiled... "Thank you very much for allowing me to borrow this formation to kill you and your hunters."

Kent spread his arms and, like an angel, he slowly rose into the air, smiling at every last chainfiend.

"Ladies and gentlemen, call me the Lord of Chains."

Kent clapped his hands together and activated a skill that instantly turned the entire City of Chains into a land of screamers.

"Chains on Fire." Green flames surrounded the hundreds of thousands of chains.

Yet again, every last viewer was left stunned, unsure of what to even say...
