Chapter 1198: Hell Warriors Vs Uncle Drew
Chapter 1198: Hell Warriors Vs Uncle Drew
Uncle Drew obviously wasn’t looking forward to a duel with not one but five hell demons just when he arrived in hell. However, just when he arrived on the 6th level of hell, five hell demons stopped him with hostile looks in their eyes.
Of course, it is hell, so no one is cheerful there. But that doesn’t even mean he should be stored with hostile Intent when he hadn’t offended everyone.
Uncle Drew somehow appeared at the entrance of Gorathis, the City of Chains. It is the first city Kent conquered back when he was walking the hell road.
The five hell demons standing at the entrance of the city are all True Immortals.
Four of them have four Immortal Qi despite being True Immortals. Most True Immortals have three. As for the strongest among them, he has five Immortal Qi.
"Stop right there, human."
One of them, a hell demon with metallic skin and flame for eyes, commanded, his voice carrying the pressure of his five Immortal Qis.
Uncle Drew stopped in his tracks, raised his head, and looked at the five hell demons. He had the urge to use Kent’s name to command them to step aside; however, in that very moment, a voice entered his mind.
’If you want to be followed into battle, then show them who you are.’ Nyx’s nonchalant voice entered his head.
Obviously, Uncle Drew’s main reason for coming to hell was to recruit hell demons to help him in rescuing Kaelith from the prison he was put in.
He didn’t specifically tell Nyx what he intended to do in hell. However, it seems she was able to deduce a part of it, and so she prepared the way for him.
’How tiresome.’
"Show some identification," one of the hell demons demanded, his expression hostile, just when Uncle Drew looked at them.
Uncle Drew furrowed his brow and said:
"This is hell, bubby. I may be a living soul, but I know there is no identification in hell, so why don’t we cut to the chase?" Uncle Drew sneered and pointed at the five hell demons blocking his way.
"You are here to challenge me to a duel. Naturally, I don’t mind; however, I have a condition. If you accept, I might not kill any of you."
The expression on the faces of the five hell demons changed.
They didn’t expect the human standing before them to be that bold. In fact, they expected him to plead for his life, considering he is four ranks below them.
Uncle Drew is only at the peak of the Death Stage. He would have to go through the Root, Spirit, and Core Immortal stages before reaching the level they are now.
So for him to threaten them that he might just not kill them if they accept his condition—that came as a shock to them.
"Kill us?... Hahahahahahah!"
They burst into uncontrollable laughter.
It is indeed funny.
Any immortal in their place would be amused, considering the gap between them.
Uncle Drew smiled, watching them laugh. He didn’t speak without a reason.
This is hell.
Uncle Drew can directly command hell flames.
Naturally, that makes him super powerful inside hell; they might be immortals, but inside hell, Uncle Drew is at his peak.
Suddenly, his eyes turned green, and flames burst out of them. His aura instantly changed, causing the air to turn cold despite their location. Then his clothes changed into his hell armor. Cracks filled with green molten lava littered most parts of his armor.
His dual swords were perfectly sheathed behind him, forming into an X.
"Come."
Crack
The space cracked, and green flames poured out. Then, from within the crack, a dark horse, body covered in metallic armor, walked out, bringing with it terrifying energy.
In an instant, Uncle Drew changed from an ordinary human to a battle-ready warrior, one who caused the five immortals to take a few steps back.
He placed his hand on his hellhorse and took a step forward.
"The weather was relatively calm that day. I had just returned from war and learned a demon king had kidnapped my brother, and they planned on selling him to a succubus queen who seemed to have found a liking for my handsome brother.
I was furious, so like always, I took my swords, jumped on my battle horse, and went after him. Friends advised me to relax and make a good plan; however, my brother was everything I had back then, so I listened to no one.
Of course, they were right. The one they wanted was me, so they kidnapped my brother to lure me out. Safe to say it worked. I would jump into molten lava to save my brother."
A mask appeared in Uncle Drew’s hand.
Looking at it, he smiled.
"Immortals surrounded me on all sides. A demigod stood in the air, holding my brother by the neck. Hidden expects hid, ready to take action and end me.
’Drop to your knee and submit to me, and I will let your brother go. The demigod commanded"
Uncle Drew smirked, "Those words were the last words she spoke because by sunset, 12,000 immortals and a demigod fell to my swords."
The mask in his hand flew on its own and covered his face... "I was just a True Immortal back then."
With that, he moved, and his hell horse also moved.
Sitting somewhere in the city, a man opened his eyes, and the aura of death oozed out from them. He looked toward the city entrance and smiled.
Uncle Drew and his hell horse had clashed with the five immortals, and every banished soul in the city felt the battle.
Most rushed to the city gate, some stood on the walls, and most clung to the many chains hanging in the city. They all wanted to watch the legendary battle, one that they would compare to the Hell Road challenge 3 million years ago.
Two hours later, the five Immortals were on the ground, sweat falling down their bodies. Every last one of them was tired, injured, and barely holding on to their consciousness.
Jaws hung low by the time the battle came to an end. It doesn’t make sense one bit.
The leader of the five hell demons looked at Uncle Drew, now seated on his hell horse, and asked in a shaky tone,
"W-who...are...y-you?"
"He is a being of legend."
Suddenly, the person hidden in the city appeared not far from Uncle Drew and spoke.
Everyone turned their focus to the new arrival, many recognizing him as the Overlord of Hell.
One could see the look of respect in his eyes despite his status as the Overlord of Hell.
He turned to everyone, and in a tone that spread to all 14 cities, he said,
"There are 69 of them. They ride through the night, cutting down all kinds of horror. When they move, they move with the night, and when they fight, they fight with the night.
They go by many names, but they respond to the Night Rider name. Everyone, pay your respect to Kael Duskbane, the legendary Captain of the Night Riders."
Like being compelled by an external force, all hell demons went on their knees and bowed toward Uncle Drew.
"Welcome to Hell, Kael Duskbane..."
Uncle Drew removed his mask and turned toward the Overlord of Hell.
A small, proud smile appeared on his face.
"How have you been, Laziel?"
"I’ve been well, Captain. I just miss you a lot... all of us did."
Just when he said that, cracks appeared in the air, and seven people riding hell horses appeared.
"Welcome to Hell, Captain... we have been awaiting your arrival."
