Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1299: Perfect Trap

Chapter 1299: Perfect Trap

Right when Kent was pulled into the flag, he appeared in the air in a rather insidious realm reeking of death and decay.

The entire world looks and smells like a rotting corpse.

Dirty smokes, muddy waters, half-shattered mountains, dying trees, and all kinds of stuff that represent death and decay could be seen there.

Large skulls that could as well come from beast gods and all kinds of abominations littered everywhere, making one wonder just where the black flag came from. It is a shit show, and Kent had stepped into it.

However, while he would love to admire the decayed world and make sense of a few things for a few seconds, the perfect trap set by the Temple Master of Annihilation surrounded him in an airtight circle.

Three True Immortals, seven Core Immortals, and nine Spirit Immortals surrounded him, no friendliness in their hollowed gaze.

Kent found himself surrounded by these people, and what is even more shocking is the fact that all three True Immortals are at the peak.

[Master, it seems the mystery behind the disappearance of the 19 out of the 20 immortals that entered the void forest after it fell has been discovered by you.]

’No shit, Tower, and it looks like they want me dead.’

Kent never expected to be staring at the immortals who tried to discover what caused the fall of the Upside Down Underworld Forest.

They seem to be under some kind of spell after they were killed, of course. Their bodies are basically a vessel for something dark and twisted.

If they are alive, he would have sensed their breath, but it seems all 19 of them are dead.

Kent narrowed his eyes, seeing as 19 channels of death energy keep coming out of nowhere and entering the bodies of the 19 immortals. The more energy they take in, the stronger they get.

’So this is why the bastard remained standing despite me massacring the beasts. He was feeding the death energy to these fools.’ Kent suddenly felt like he had been played.

However, he didn’t let it wound his ego. It instead raised a concerning question.

’If I am now here and my connection to the outside world has been severed, then how come there are still channels of death energy entering these immortals?’

Kent narrowed his eyes, ’Don’t tell me.’

Indeed, his suspicion is spot on.

On the outside, a massacre unlike any other is ongoing between the beasts. They are fighting among themselves and slaughtering each other.

The demonic human remained hovering in the air, the black flag still standing tall. However, the bone dragon is unleashing a barrage of attacks.

But it wasn’t the only death machine on the battlefield. Several other soulless fiends had appeared, and as the seconds go by, the slaughter only seems to intensify.

This time, Kent had found himself in hot soup.

He landed on the ground and looked up at the 19 immortals, jokingly asking, "Is there any way we can make this a one vs one battle?"

He wasn’t even done when one of the Core Immortals moved and appeared before him with a sword, stabbing toward his chest.

"I guess not," Kent twisted his body, forcing the sword to move past him, only for a second attack to come from behind him from yet another Core Immortal.

Up in the air, the remaining 17 immortals, which included the three True Immortals, all lunged at him with deadly intent.

BUZZ

Kent’s body trembled as he unleashed all of his sword intent and Blood Sword aura, filling the air with both Killing Intent and extreme sharpness.

"Endless Sword Domain," he unleashes Jest’s classic sword move. It was one he mostly uses against multiple targets coming at him from multiple directions.

Tiny sword arcs exploded out, tens of thousands of them, each filled with extreme killing intent. All 19 immortals were blasted out, the first two Core Immortals getting cut all over their bodies.

They had no time to raise a defence, so they were injured the most.

However, the moment they stabilised themselves, all injuries on their skin healed at an alarming rate. This sight made Kent frown.

’This is going to be a problem,’ he jumped into the air, meeting the dagger of one of the True Immortals, only for a Core Immortal to slide behind him.

However, Kent didn’t let him get close. Immortals arent exacty normal warriors all. He activated his ice element, freezing his path.

However, before he could take a breather, a flame ball came from behind as one of the True Immortals unleashed a powerful blast from his spear.

The impact melted Kent’s ice, causing the Chaos Dragon to realise he had to put his back into things. The True Immortal had just used a flame that had already reached the ’absolute’ stage.

That alone shows he had no upper hand when an absolute element is involved. Who knows what the other two immortals have up their sleeves?

However, that also didn’t mean he was lacking. There are several immortals he could use it against.

But he cannot be careless with the ice element, since he can run out of ice essence much faster. So he must use it sparingly when he sees a sure opening.

But to make him move ahead of things, he decided to hold back the ice and unleash his flame element instead.

Unlike the ice, which he needs to be careful about how much essence he uses, the flame element is a different ball game.

He has a flame core, which powers his flame attacks, so tracing his finger along the blade of his sword, he unleashed a devastating slash that forced three of the immortals back, allowing Kent a second chance to examine things.

’All True Immortals are close-range fighters. So are the seven Core Immortals and seven Spirit Immortals.’ Kent’s eyes narrowed at the two last remaining Spirit Immortals holding bows.

’One has ice oozing off his body while the other is on fire.’

Kent notes that down and examines his options. ’I must use my sword knowledge to learn their battle style. That would give me enough chance to find out if there are any hidden surprises.’

Kent checked his soul map and saw some openings, but they were too dangerous to exploit, so he would work on it slowly.

Once he finds what he is looking for, he would turn to his demi-dragon (wings, horns, and claws/talons) form and go for the kill.

’Of course, it is easier said than done. With them getting a sturdy supply of death energy, who knows if they can be killed?’

’Simple rules: avoid the archers, keep a close eye on the True Immortals, and find openings in the combat style of the other immortals.’

Kent made up his mind and was about to execute when he suddenly felt the space crack, and a long spear flashed out, aimed directly at his chest.

’I guess Plan B then.’ Kent threw Gaap at one of the True Immortals, and the sword went into combat mode, controlling itself.

In the air, 2,000 swords and 1,000 spears appeared, and they lunged at the immortals. But Kent didn’t hold back anything; his dragon wings, horn, and claws appeared along with 20,000 blood runes.

"Flame Wheels," he activated his movement technique, along with the 50,000 flame veins, to boost his speed.
