Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1340: Kaelith’s Rescue (2)

Chapter 1340: Kaelith’s Rescue (2)

[A Minute before the attack]

Just when Kent flapped his wings and broke through the formation of the Flame Rocs, he found himself drawn much closer to the location where Kaelith was being held.

However, he had to force himself to come to a halt when he sensed more Flame Rocs coming from behind him and in front of him.

It seemed reinforcement came much faster than he anticipated.

But Kent didn’t wait for them to get close to him.

He may have become faster and stronger, but he was still lacking. When facing Immortal Kings and above, he knew he had to be careful. So he did the only thing he knew—he tapped into his speed and started playing hide-and-seek with them.

Axiom, Kailan, and Kol were still a few seconds out. So he had to hold back the immortals for as long as he could for them to come and take over, so he could advance toward the prison Kaelith was held in.

Even without his taming bracelet, he started to sense his presence. It was just that he couldn’t speak to him without the taming bracelet.

So he knew exactly where to go, and he already had a way to go about it.

Kent flapped his wings, the void buzzing as he created a distance between himself and a few Immortal Kings who caught up to him when he stopped to assess the situation.

After getting out of their range, he halted and then, using the Soul Map, he teleported in the opposite direction. Before the Immortal Kings could close him in again, he teleported, appearing behind the reinforcement coming from the city.

BUZZ

His wings buzzed, and before they could sense what had happened, he was already blasting his way through their ranks. His wings weren’t just for flight; they were deadly weapons.

He blasted them away, clearing a vast path before him. However, he didn’t stop there. Before any of them could recover, Kent was already upon them, his metallic claws descending on them in a deadly slash.

He targeted an Immortal King first, sending him crashing into a building below. His bones were shattered, and his chest was torn open, blood flowing from just the initial attack.

However, Kent wasn’t attacking to make him recover. He was merely making sure that, when this was done, the message he was trying to send would be sent loud and clear.

So he took a nosedive, and before the Immortal King could get back up, Kent’s shadow enveloped him. His claws landed on him, crushing him to bits and pieces, his deadly claws staining with blood.

"What a mess," Kent said before taking to the air again. He had just killed an Immortal King; however, he didn’t have time to celebrate what a momentous achievement that was.

He combined his speed with the Soul Map so that as he moved, he also teleported nonstop. Eventually, after killing a few immortals, was surrounded on all sides. However, Axiom and his pals also arrived...

"Now might be the best time to reveal your deadly and monstrous forms, guys," Kent said, slamming his claws into a rather large roc who was tired of fighting like a human, so he transformed into his beast form.

"We can do that. But how are you going to break through them?" Axiom pointed at five Immortal Emperors standing not that far from the battlefield. They were the last line of defence between Kent and the prison.

"Leave that to me."

Axiom nodded, then he took on his form, taking on the look of a giant tiger-like beast with three deadly eyes. The moment he turned into his true beast form, his aura exploded, and the void shattered.

However, unlike how one would expect the void to heal in the next seconds, that didn’t happen. Instead, an overwhelming sucking force exploded out and latched onto a few immortals, dragging them into its dark maw.

Only then did it heal. Axiom was on the move, his overwhelming strength giving him an edge.

Kailan also transformed into a mutated phoenix, the kind with metallic wings. "I hope I don’t die on my first mission," Kailan said before flapping his wings, shooting dozens of metallic feathers at the immortals.

As for Kol, he transformed into a 400-meter-long and 150-meter-wide serpent with dark scales lining his colossal body. "Here we go."

Kent didn’t bother looking at them since, thanks to Kailan, he had finally gotten a path to the prison. When he moved, the five Immortal Emperors also moved, their Immortal Qi flaring.

"Not so fast."

Kent came to a stop, then he swiped his claws down, causing the air to suddenly become hot. The clouds parted, and a deadly finger emerged, instantly causing the five Immortal Emperors to halt their flight.

They were forced to the ground, their bodies shaking and sweat forming on their foreheads. Kent wasted no time and moved, leaving them to handle the Finger of Destruction.

He poured 70% of his flame essence and 80% of his blood Qi into it. However, even so, he could harness only 30% of the true power of the Finger of Destruction.

According to Bhaalzhar, the Finger of Destruction isn’t a true Primordial-grade technique. However, while that may be the case, it is also higher than a Celestial-grade technique. So it is powerful.

This also means that, while he was able to harness only 30% of its true power, it was enough to hold back the Immortal Emperors. There was no way they could break free of the hold it had on them unless they managed to defend against it.

But since it managed to hold them for now, he knew he had to hurry. While it may look like they were having the upper hand, Kent knew it could change at any moment, so he had to make a move now and hope he was fast enough.

He flapped his wings, and the next second, he was before a building. He transformed into his demi-dragon form and landed before it.

Without wasting time, his clawed hand moved, and the door was blasted open.

The moment it opened, he walked in, appearing in a large corridor lined with different prison cells on either side.

Seeing people in these cells, an idea came to mind.

"Today is your lucky day," Kent started breaking open the doors as he moved down the hall. He knew that since all these people were inside the prison, it meant their crimes were just too bad to let them back into society.

What would happen, then, if these people were freed? Naturally, he needed the distraction, so he started releasing them all.

Within a minute, over a hundred cell doors opened, and the people imprisoned were freed. As expected, these criminals began fighting for their lives when they were blocked by the flame rocs.

Eventually, Kent finally made his way to the door where Kaelith was imprisoned.

His claw moved, tearing a chunk off the metallic door. Kent grabbed the hole created and yanked the door off. The moment the door came off, Kaelith’s bony frame could be seen sitting at the centre of the room, his arms and limbs shackled.

Kent’s gaze grew cold as he saw his friend reduced to such a state.

"Rescue now, revenge later." Kent is angry, but he has managed to regain his composure and move closer.

"Don’t worry, buddy, I am now here." Kent’s claws moved, severing the chains in one go. Just when the last chain was severed, Kent sensed a terrifying presence closing in.

"Time to leave." Kent first sent Kaelith into the tower and then relayed the retreat order to his pals, who quickly vanished.

He, however, remained for one last bang.

He waved his hand, and over 30,ooo soul spirits appeared, feeling the 80,000km radius.
