Chapter 1806: The Dark War (8)
Every Grand Shaman has their field of expertise. Of course, they each have an affinity for souls, since shamans are basically beings whose work has to do with souls.
But someone like Grand Shaman Malak is an expert in curses, while Vorgun specializes in manipulating souls.
In fact, he is the very definition of a Soul Reaper.
His power comes from harvesting souls and manipulating them to do his bidding. On a battlefield where death spreads as vast as an ocean, he would be like a merchant of souls, harvesting them and turning them into evil apparitions that would heed his command and wreak devastation.
Waking up Vorgun was the most logical decision Kent could make. After all, the battle ahead required someone with his particular set of skills.
He needed an army because, as it may be, his legion alone cannot handle this.
Kent turned and looked back at the Spider Dark Queen, who now wore a far more stunned and wary expression.
"As you can see, I came prepared. The question now is, do you have the power to stop me?"
His eyes narrowed. Then everyone behind him also turned their attention toward the sea of Dark Fiends, none of them showing even the slightest fear.
"If you think this is enough to stop us, then you are severely mistaken, dragon."
As the Spider Dark Queen spoke those words, she gestured forward, and tides of Dark Fiends surged toward Kent and his small army.
"As I said, you are ten times fewer than what we faced during the Dark Era, so today, you will fall, and I will make sure of that."
Kent closed his eyes for a few minutes. As he snapped them open, he activated the technique the Paragon had given him: the Omnipresent Universe Three Body Art.
A mist of purple energy surrounded him for a brief moment. When it cleared, his body split into three.
One took the form of his humanoid body, wielding Gaap, while two pairs of the Heaven Splitting Jade Void Wings appeared behind him. He stood 6’7" feet tall...
The second remained in his 7’6" feet tall demi-human form with another two pairs of Heaven Splitting Jade Void Wings. However, instead of a sword, his hands were covered by a pair of gauntlets, each ending in deadly talons.
The third transformed into a 1-kilometer-long dragon with metal wings. Kent covered his colossal dragon wings with three pairs of Heaven Splitting Jade Void Wings, which perfectly shifted to cover their immense span.
At once, his perception and mind split into three, allowing him to control all three bodies simultaneously.
His demi-human form turned to his legion.
"Pandora and Big Sister Fiannarel will lead you all to deal with those annoying humans. Kill every last one of them, for the more you kill, the greater your reward.
We do not take hostages, so kill them all.
That said, cut your coat according to your size."
Kent laughed.
"I will be close by, making sure none of you get overwhelmed. As for the rest of you..."
Kent turned to the Seven Blood Warriors and Grand Shaman Vorgun.
"We will handle the Dark Fiends, down to the very last one of them. Today, the only ones to remain alive will be us and not them."
"Very well."
Veylan Seren smiled, and then his body surged with Chaos Essence. As someone who practiced body tempering, his physical strength was evident from his mere presence.
He summoned a warhammer. Then, with a heavy leap, he descended into battle with chaos trailing behind him.
Jyoti Lata shook her head, but then she summoned an axe, and her lean, slender physique shifted into that of an imposing, muscular giant, almost like a barbarian.
She also charged into battle with catastrophic force.
The others joined as well, and before long, his wives and the legion, led by Pandora and Fiannarel, clashed with the Jian Family warriors.
Grand Shaman Vorgun also joined the battle, already taking advantage of the deaths being caused by the Blood Warriors.
In no time, only Kent remained in his three forms. However, his dragon form soon soared into the sky, and like the Calamity Dragon he was, he descended into battle with chaos in his wake.
His demi-human form also moved and clashed with the Spider Dark Queen, this time with the intent to kill her.
Before, he had merely been buying time for the Tower to awaken. However, now that he was certain none of them could escape, he wouldn’t hold back anymore.
"Tower, keep a close eye on everyone, especially my wives. The moment they are in danger, teleport them to safety."
"As you command, Master."
Kent sighed, then looked at the thousands of Dark Fiends charging toward him.
He smirked, then, with one hand, formed a seal.
"Eye of Chaos: Infinite Demon Eyes."
Suddenly, across the battlefield, thousands—perhaps tens of thousands—of crimson eyes snapped open, and from them, beams imbued with Chaos Qi began raining down upon the Dark Fiends.
But Kent didn’t stop there. He went on to unleash another technique.
"Blood Sea Annihilation."
The Blood Sea surged, and then he merged his Genesis Sword Realm with it, causing the already dangerous Blood Sea to surge with even more untamed power.
It transformed into countless deadly blades and began attacking everything in its path.
He looked at the carnage, but as the Chaos Dragon, he still felt like he hadn’t done enough.
So he went even further and activated the Shadow Realm. This time, instead of using it to cover the battlefield, he chose to call forth his shadow fiends that had been unlocked while inside the chaos chasm...
"Come out and show them the power of the Shadow Fiends."
From within his Shadow Realm, the Shadow Fiends that had been unlocked while he was away surged forth, clashing with the Dark Fiends.
There were thousands of them, each a force to be reckoned with.
Kent looked at the carnage and smiled.
"That’s more like it." He still has some more abilities, but he seems content with this much.
He looked up and saw that all the Dark Queens had been engaged.
Uncle Drake had already clashed with the Dark Dragon Queen, and from the look of things, it wouldn’t be long before she was defeated.
As for the Spider Dark Queen, she had already lost both arms, and as Kent turned toward his demi-human form, he watched him crush her head into a pulp.
To his shock, Parand alone had taken on the remaining four. Looking at how effortlessly she was handling them, he knew that even as a Celestial, she was still not someone he could defeat himself.
She is just too fast, even without her wings.
Turning to the other side, he saw that his wives and legion had already started overwhelming the Jian Family.
Pandora had used a technique to isolate the Celestials and Supremes, trapping them within a single domain where she, Fiannarel, Yukiko, and Vexthra clashed against them.
This strategy was a risky one, considering they were now locked in with over nine hundred terrifying Supremes and Celestials. However, because Yukiko and Pandora were both at the Pseudo-Primordial stage, it wouldn’t be long before they dealt with them.
Meanwhile, everyone else, ranging from Gods down to Immortals, was now at the mercy of his remaining wives and legion.
Despite the Dark fiends still numbering in millions, against only a few Celestials, a little over a dozen Supremes, and close to a hundred Demigods and Immortals, they stood no chance.
His Eternal Wrath Legion has five Celestials.
Basically, pitting a Celestial against a group of Gods was simply too shameless. But Vexthra, whose battle intelligence was on another level, had made the call, and Pandora made it happen.
Regardless, Kent could tell the battle was firmly on their side. The Jian Family would soon crumble.
However, the endless tide of Dark Fiends would still pose a huge problem.
’No need. I just have to locate the Dark Empress and kill her. That will solve everything.’
With his mission in mind, his Void Storm Domain expanded, and in no time, he located the Dark Empress...
