Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 1832: Night Heart

Chapter 1832: Night Heart

"What do you mean by it is dead?" Zandros asked, narrowing his eyes at Nara, who stood beside the colossal body of the Black Fire Demon Dragon. It now lay headless and lifeless on the ground...

"It is as I said. The Black Fire Demon Dragon is dead."

Just as she said that, a portal opened, and Uncle Drew and the rest, who fought inside the soul of the Black Fire Demon Dragon, walked out, each wearing a stunned expression.

While killing the Black Fire Demon Dragon was a good thing, the plan didn’t include permanent death. In fact, the plan was to kill it temporarily, just long enough for them to get their hands on the Night Heart.

Killing the Black Fire Demon Dragon was never something they thought feasible. In fact, temporarily killing it was out of their hands for a few moments.

However, they made it happen, and the one who accomplished that was Nara, who had yet again returned to her humanoid form.

"I know it is bad to assume this wasn’t something possible, that none of us could handle it, but I would ask anyway... How the hell did you kill this monstrosity, Nightblade?" Uncle Drew asked, walking toward Nara.

The battle inside the soul plane had entered a rather chilling state, besieged on all sides by thousands of soul dolls. It was a breaking point for them.

However, before they could despair, a crack formed inside the soul, and that crack widened until the poor undead soul of the Black Fire Demon Dragon came undone.

That showed the Black Fire Demon Dragon had died, and despite waiting for a few seconds to see it rise back from the ashes, that never happened.

So, Nara killing the unkillable while she was not an undead was just shocking. If Kaizo or any of the undead had done this, no one would ask any questions. After all, they are undead, so killing another undead fits perfectly within their abilities.

Nara smiled, hearing Uncle Drew’s question.

"Let’s just say death isn’t as invincible as one would think," she turned to the Black Fire Demon Dragon’s severed and lifeless body and added, "I merely had to look for the undead vein within it and sever it. The rest, as you all know, is what lies before you now."

"As if it is as simple as you say. The undead vein is visible only to the undead. Kaizo said it is the most hidden part of their existence, mostly hidden within the necromancer," Saden pointed out, a flaw that made everyone wonder if Nara had a special set of eyes that allowed her to see the undead vein.

"Before you weirdos think it, the answer is no, I do not have any special sight that allows me to see undead veins. However, I sensed the location of this Black Fire Demon Dragon since it had the Night Heart embedded in its chest.

Had it not been for that, I wouldn’t have sensed it and severed it, so you can say we won because of the Night Heart."

"She is lying," suddenly, Kent’s voice entered everyone’s ears, causing them to turn in his direction.

Kent smiled back at them, walking with the lolis who were over the moon now that the big bad Black Fire Demon Dragon had been killed by their big sister, Nara.

"KENT!"

"MASTER!"

"RUTHLESS BANDIT!"

All kinds of names were called, depending on how everyone viewed Kent.

Nara, Lene, and Saden called him by his real name. While Lene and Nara had already gotten into his pants, Saden hadn’t. But she spends most of her time with Kent’s wives, so she has developed the habit of calling him by his first name.

Uncle Drew and the rest of the Night Riders called him Master because that was how they all addressed him.

As for the name Ruthless Bandit, the four hell demons who had met him and had firsthand experienced his ruthlessness called him that, visibly becoming a bit apprehensive.

While they got along with most of the Night Riders, the last person none of them seemed to find common ground with was the Ruthless Bandit.

One would say that, for Hell Demons, becoming kindred souls with the Ruthless Bandit, known for his evil ways, was expected. However, not only did they not see eye to eye, but they also feared him.

In their view, they were angels compared to the Ruthless Bandit, who could be considered a real demon. Evil incarnate, as Xuanli used to call him.

Kent, of course, recognized all four of them, so seeing the expressions on their faces, he smiled and said,

"It appears you guys aren’t happy to see me."

"Who in their right mind would be happy to see a man such as yourself? Or are you telling me the universe is so twisted now that even evil is considered normal?" Thrakos said, rooted in one place, ready to attack at a moment’s notice.

To his surprise, however, Kent laughed. "Thrakos, buddy, you always crack me up."

The four Hell Demons didn’t smile, not even for a moment. In their minds, whenever the Ruthless Bandit smiled, what followed always left a bad taste in the mouth.

But today, the opposite happened.

"Relax, you four. I am not the same person you knew. The me you knew was merely a small part of me, so rest assured, I won’t be torturing you guys this time around."

He walked toward Kha’zixarath, who remained in his beast form, and patted his head.

"Unless, of course, you want me to."

They didn’t dare make a sound.

Seeing this, Eryndor smiled, and an idea popped into his head. For now, he would keep it to himself, but the next time he summoned any of his Hell Demons, he would make sure Kent was there.

Nara jumped into Kent’s arms and kissed him. Lene did the same since she had also become one of Kent’s women.

"Why did you say Nara is lying?" Uncle Drew asked after the hugging and kissing were over.

"She didn’t lie about the undead vein part. She indeed sensed it because of the Night Heart. However, she lied about severing it." Kent turned and looked at Nara, who had a blush on her cheeks.

"Your death qi alone was too weak to cut through such thick skin. The only reason you were able to sever its head from its body was that you merged your sword qi with your death qi.

Now, while you succeeded on your first try, you won’t be able to use your sword qi for a couple of days since your crude method drained you completely."

Nara tried to channel her sword qi, but she realized she could no longer harness it. This made her frown slightly as realization dawned on her.

If she had failed to kill the Black Fire Demon Dragon with that one attack, then perhaps she would have found herself and everyone else in grave danger.

But luckily for her, she had managed to end its profane existence with that single attack.

"Relax, it is dead now, so there’s no need to think too much about it. That said, train your sword qi and death qi when you return to the tower."

She nodded, thankful she had succeeded when she did. The focus now was on awakening the Night Heart.
