[Meeting the Third Undead Princess]
Days passed since the meeting with the Green Bone Oracle.
She didn’t spend much time with Kaizo and his team, since she had only come to pass along the message from Undead Baron Lamine, or, as many call him, Lord Lamine.
But she managed to learn more about Kent and how much had passed since she had last met him.
Back when Sanders (Kent’s incarnation) arrived in the Undead Realm, he was besieged by some powerful undead beasts. Had it not been for her, he would have perished back then.
To thank her, Sanders spent most of his time doing all kinds of work for her, later becoming someone who also protected her in the shadows because of her standing. They had a complicated relationship, but their respect for each other was solid.
It was why Kaizo and his team never doubted her sincerity when she asked them to lie low for now. They knew she would never betray them, not even if her life was in danger.
So, as days went by, they awaited news of when they would be meeting with the Third Undead Princess, one of the women their master once moved with.
They wanted to make sure she was okay with their master before meeting her in public, where things could get messy real quick.
Luckily, two weeks and five days later, the Green Bone Oracle sent word that, in two days, they would meet the Third Undead Princess.
Two days later, all 12 of them arrived at the Grand Bone Restaurant, a rather exclusive establishment where only the rich and extremely wealthy dined.
Kaizo and his team were invited, so despite having to make reservations months or sometimes years in advance, they were allowed entry and even led, like dignified guests, to a private room where the meeting would take place.
As they walked through the nicely decorated halls of the restaurant, Kaizo and his team couldn’t help but sense some powerful presences hidden all around the restaurant.
’Looks like she came prepared,’ Morne said into the heads of his teammates, causing them all to nod inwardly.
’All the more reason to be careful then. I doubt she would kill us, but still, you can never know what goes on in the head of a woman. So we should be on high alert,’ Kaizo said, and while his words were true, the ladies within the team chuckled.
He made it seem like ladies are complicated creatures.
Ladies are simple creatures. They only become complicated when the wrong conditions are met.
A few seconds after entering, they arrived in a room where two people were already seated. One of them was, of course, the Green Bone Oracle, while the other was the Princess, seated elegantly with her face covered in a thin white veil.
Many wondered what she looked like under her veil, since only a handful had seen her true appearance.
Unlike the Green Bone Oracle, who was barely covered by her gown, she was clad in a gray-colored cloak that covered her entire body, hiding her assets. She also possesses long silver hair and enchanting gray eyes.
The moment Kaizo and his team entered the room, all 12 of them felt their consciousness invaded by a presence none of them could block.
This presence scanned their bodies and consciousness for a few seconds before pulling back.
"It is indeed you people," she spoke, letting out a sigh. "Sit down."
Kaizo and his team sat, every one of them alert. The fact that this lady managed to penetrate that deeply into their consciousness told them she was no longer someone they could mess with.
She was a Primordial, someone far stronger than even the Green Bone Oracle.
"What are you doing here?" she asked, looking directly at Kaizo, whom she remembered all too well from their shared past. When she met Sanders, he was with Kaizo. So even if she didn’t recognize any of them, Kaizo was someone she would remember.
"Master sent us," Kaizo replied, and she smiled.
"So he lacked the balls to come here. Instead, he sent his lackeys to come and die on his behalf." Cold air emanated from her body, causing the 12 Undead Generals to become even more alert.
"You know, the last time we met, you stabbed me with a poisoned dagger, young lady," she said, turning to Velithra. The latter trembled, sensing the cold gaze of the Third Undead Princess on her.
She fought through the intimidation and responded, "You were our enemy, so I had to. But you live now, so why don’t we call it a thing of the past?"
Velithra managed to even smile, though her smile seemed rather forced. It was plain as day that she was terrified of the woman looking back at her.
And it is perfectly normal to be terrified of her. Her true powers aren’t something to underestimate...
"Thing of the past, you say," the Third Undead Princess chuckled. "How about you, Vampire Demoness? You killed three of my subordinates and injured one of my Ancients. Right now, the only thing stopping her from cutting your head off is that I told her to hold on."
Sylara trembled as a pale figure clad in white armor appeared behind the Third Undead Princess, holding a scythe on her shoulder. She arrogantly tilted her head to the side and smirked, perhaps cherishing the look on Sylara’s face.
Sylara narrowed her eyes, then ignited two Blood Tattoos, instantly wiping away the intimidation around her and deep within her mind.
"I have done so many bad things, but one of the good ones was finally shutting your sharp mouth for good, White Lily."
Sylara stood up, pulled out two daggers, and pointed both at the white-armored lady holding the scythe. "Or do you think just because you are now a Pseudo-Primordial, you can take me on?" Sylara smirked and added, "Lower your cultivation to the True God Stage and come at me. Let’s see who dies in the end."
For a moment, the air in the room hung heavy. Then, out of nowhere, Kaizo exploded into resounding laughter, wiping away the seriousness in the air.
Everyone turned to look at him, wondering why he was laughing.
A few moments later, Kaizo managed to rein in his laughter and said, "It is good to see you haven’t changed, Dominique. I am sure Master would be happy to see you again after we bring you with us back to the Infinity Universe."
