Chapter 1851: Amon’s Guillotine Cave (1)
CRAAAASSSH! BOOM! BOOOOOOM!
Mountains collapsed, and trees were reduced to mere shrapnel. All around, devastation marred the ground and scarred the space around.
The air was filled with thick sword intent, the kind many swordsmen wish they could attain in their lifetime.
Just standing within this intent would make one feel their sword tingle, and everything they knew about swords would be tested.
This place is the infamous Amon’s Guillotine Cave, one of the seven Calamity Zones in the Infinity Universe. It is a place where only swordsmen could live since, aside from sword intent and sword aura, nothing else works there.
No matter how much spiritual qi or any other qi one possesses, once they get to Amon’s Guillotine Cave, only their sword intent would work.
It was one of the reasons why even Celestials dreaded coming here.
Right now, Inaya, Baldy, and Mak were surrounded on all sides by a pack of wolves, each standing approximately 20 meters tall, every last one boasting the strength of a Celestial.
Returning to Amon’s Guillotine Cave after several years had passed made Inaya a bit elated. However, now that she was surrounded on all sides, she couldn’t help but smile, recalling some of the dreadful battles she had fought in the past.
"This is a bit troublesome," she said, taking a deep breath. They had already killed close to a dozen wolves, but they still had over 30 to kill.
More importantly, the Alpha had yet to appear, so they had to be on high alert for its arrival as well.
"You know, I have been away from the world of battles for so long I forgot how enjoyable they can be," Mak said with a laugh, scanning the deadly wolves baring their fangs at them.
As one of the seven Eternal Sword Intents Lord Genesis had refined before he died, he possessed a completely different personality, just like how Baldy and Han also had their own ways of life.
Baldy liked to eat candy and sleep, while Han preferred living among mortals as a way to train his Eternal Karmic Sword Domain.
As for Mak, he was fond of women, so he spent most of his days in brothels. One would wonder why someone who was supposed to forge a sword path and master it to its peak would spend his days around women.
The answer is quite simple.
Just like how Han’s domain could influence the laws, rendering any space into a mortal plain, Mak could also do the same, but his domain was rather unique.
"Big Brother, why don’t you show me what your domain looks like?" Baldy said, summoning a sword that was three times taller than his body.
Mak smiled and nodded. "My lady, kindly step back and let me handle these bugs."
Inaya had no reason to doubt him. She had seen firsthand what Baldy and this pink-haired brother of his were capable of during their journey within Amon’s Guillotine Cave.
Mak took a deep breath and advanced forward.
The wolves lunged at him.
However, they could only get so far before they were all shrouded in a pink mist.
Their steps halted, and for a split second, the space around them became filled with lust.
Inaya and Baldy furrowed their brows at the sensation. However hard they looked at it, the moment the domain appeared, everyone felt their hearts skip a beat.
But the worst came when the advancing wolves suddenly started whimpering.
Then the first wolf did the impossible.
Instead of attacking Mak, it turned its claws on another wolf, landing a devastating attack on its hide. The attack was so brutal that one half of the wolf’s body was torn off, and it crashed into a mountain 2 km away, shattering it into chunks of stone.
The attacker didn’t let it rest. Instead, it moved at a terrifying speed, crashing into it again.
Inaya, who cultivated the Ten Emotions, sensed a wave of hatred emanating from the attacker, causing her to frown slightly as she wondered where the sudden aggression was coming from.
The rest also started attacking, each radiating intense hatred... well, some were radiating intense hatred and aggression, while others were radiating intense lust.
"Big Brother, what kind of domain is this?" Baldy asked, confused. Unlike how he was able to figure out Han’s domain, Mak’s was just too complex for his childish mind to comprehend...
Inaya, on the other hand, seemed to have grasped a bit of the nature of the domain. But she would have to hear from Mak before she could be certain about her deduction.
Mak smiled and brushed Baldy’s clean head. "You will know one day. For now, all you need to know is that they will kill each other, and no matter what anyone does, as long as I remain standing, none of them can break free."
Baldy nodded, not too bothered. Though it would be good to understand the insidious nature of the domain his big brother had cultivated since the Divine Era.
Inaya sighed but said nothing, despite wanting to know.
She sensed lust and hatred. Aside from that, she had also deduced that Mak walked the path of an incubus—well, he was an incubus, so it was only natural.
He cultivated the Dao of Desire.
But his Sword Domain concerned illusions and lust. If she had to guess, the wolves had been subjected to an illusion where some were experiencing lust while others were thrust into a state of extreme anger and hatred.
She had no idea how any of that was possible, but she knew for a fact that the ones attacking were mentally unstable at the moment, resulting in an intense battle with those who seemed happy with whatever they were seeing in the illusion.
"ROARRRRRR!"
Suddenly, a roar came from the distance, shaking the ground, trees, and the very air around them.
"It is here," Baldy said, flying into the air.
Far in the distance, a pair of red wolf eyes lit up, causing intense killing intent mixed with sword intent to spread across the space.
"It is strong," Inaya commented.
She could sense the Alpha wasn’t weak at all. But she wasn’t scared, not when Baldy had already volunteered to handle it.
