Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System

Chapter 851: Defeated

Chapter 851: Defeated

"What is she coming here for? I thought the Core Sect also has a Perfect Chamber," a disciple asked, but his friend immediately shut his mouth.

"If you value your life, then you must understand one rule: never question anything the Pill Princess does."

"This is crazy. First it was Kent, now the Pill Princess. Just how bad can the day get?"

"In the end, it is still the same rule: the strong trump the weak."

Many disciples were heartbroken when they saw the Pill Princess arrive at the Perfect Chamber.

However, while everyone expected her to walk toward the entrance, she merely stood 200 meters away, keeping her gaze fixed on the entrance of the Perfect Chamber.

This caused many disciples to start wondering what was going on. However, after a few minutes, they all returned to the topic at hand: Kent still had not come out of the Perfect Chamber.

Three hours later, Kent was utterly exhausted.

After the second phase of close combat, which took all he could muster, his body was ready to give up on him.

However, he knew he wouldn’t be walking out the same way he came. In fact, he knew things were much different now, and in a way, he was grateful.

But the battle wasn’t over.

He still had energy to use his skills and techniques.

First, he unleashed the Rapid Sword Move, creating 450 sword arcs, each coated in profound sword aura. He aimed to force the clone to focus more on the sword arcs while he used his sword moves on him.

As expected, the move was seen through by the clone, who, instead of defending using a skill, merely created a barrier using sword aura, deflecting all shards.

Kent, of course, went ahead with his second attack despite the outcome not looking good for him.

[Doom Shards]

Thick shards burst from the surface of the sword bridge, aiming to pierce the clone through the heart; however, the shards were met with a rather sleek use of the [Fractured Void] skill.

It was a rather smart way of using Kent’s own skill against him.

When he unleashed the Doom Shards, the clone opened a miniature version of Fractured Void, swallowing all the shards.

But it didn’t stop there—the clone went ahead and opened another void behind Kent, unleashing his own shard at him.

’Smart, but I saw that coming, Mr. Clone.’

Kent smirked and was about to raise his own barrier when a mind attack slammed into his mind, disturbing his thoughts.

’Shit’

That moment of distraction was all it took for the clone to do something that taught Kent a rather valuable lesson and perhaps a great attack combination he can use in the future.

Instead of all the shards coming straight at him, one swerved and came for his rib.

Kent, who failed to raise the shield barrier fully, had to deploy three clone bodies, which he immediately swapped places with, managing to keep his ribcage intact.

"That was close," Kent muttered, unleashing [Void Cleave].

However, the clone countered using the [Limitless Sword Arcs Domain].

The Limitless Sword Arcs deployed by the clone consumed the sword arc unleashed by the Void Cleave before it could even get within two meters of him.

But it didn’t stop there; instead, the Limitless Sword Arcs Domain expanded and caught hold of Kent. The moment he entered the domain, he felt his sword aura being cut and devoured by the shards.

’I am at a disadvantage even in the use of techniques,’ Kent sighed, but he didn’t give up just yet.

He started relying on his sword techniques and the flame arts.

He even went further, utilizing some of Jest’s skills, but after another hour—making it four hours since Kent entered the Perfect Chamber—he finally knew he was about to lose, and this time for good.

’I still don’t have the body to use the [One Slash Kill], so I suppose I will use the [Transcendent Heavenly Sword Technique] instead.’

Kent made his move, forming ten powerful swords in the air that quickly merged into one mighty sword.

The sword shot forward at a terrifying speed, one that could have caught most off guard. However, the clone slashed his sword, unleashing a powerful sword arc.

It was purple in color, and as it moved, it caused the space around it to start tearing.

It cleaved through the sword like it was mere paper.

But it didn’t stop with the sword.

It moved and cut Kent in half.

He wasn’t even able to dodge or block.

Kent didn’t black out or feel any pain. Instead, his body disintegrated, and then he was back standing at the place where he appeared the moment he entered the Perfect Chamber.

His body was yet again filled with energy like he hadn’t fought an intense four-hour battle with a perfect version of himself.

The clone, too, was gone.

"What was that?" Kent asked, not understanding how a single attack from a random sword move could handle the second form of the Transcendent Heavenly Sword Technique.

⟦First of all, the master shouldn’t panic. The attack used by your perfect clone was a perfect mastery of Void Cleave. The clone had fully mastered it.

However, as to why the Transcendent Heavenly Sword Technique was defeated, it was because the master’s mastery was only at the basic level.⟧

"I see. Then that means I still have a lot of things to do." Kent wasn’t disappointed. Instead, he saw another way to become even stronger now.

If learning a technique isn’t enough, then he will master every form to perfection if that is what it takes to reach his fullest potential in this Medium World.

"This has been very informative, but I would like to know my score before walking out."

⟦The master has scored 89%. Of course, with the Tower being only 95% perfect, the master is estimated to have already reached 84% of his true potential in a Medium world.⟧

"I suppose this will keep me afloat for now." Kent smiled and then started walking away from the Sword Bridge.

A second later, he appeared through the door to the sight of absolute silence, all eyes aimed at him.

To some degree, it was imposing; however, Kent merely smiled, knowing why they were all looking at him.

He even sensed a few powerful presences around, including Lady Enzi and Lady Liora. Old Sword was still in seclusion, but the other presences weren’t any weaker.

Even Kent could sense a rather powerful gaze coming from the distance, perhaps even several hundred miles away.

However, none of those gazes meant anything to him, for when his gaze met that of the Pill Princess, a smile formed on his lips.

’My work is never done,’ Kent said, knowing this was his chance to get what he wanted, while doing so would be helping the Pill Emperor also.

’Though, how should I go about it?’

Seeing the look in her eyes, Kent could tell she was shocked by his performance inside the Perfect Chamber.

Scoring 89% was already more than any disciple or elder had ever scored, so it was just too shocking for her to see the one person she came after make such progress.

This meant she had become weary, and even doing what she came there to do might be slipping from her mind. Kent is too monstrous, and she could see it now.

However, Kent also knew this was his chance.

After a few seconds of thinking, he smiled and raised his hand to quiet the murmurs.

"Those of you thinking I cheated to score 89%, know that without me, the sect wouldn’t win the upcoming Interplanetary Sect Competition."

And that was the trigger. Hearing Kent’s bold words, the flames of anger rekindled in the eyes of the Pill Princess.

"Tch, I would take those words back if I were you."
