Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class

Chapter 599: Tie-Breaker

Chapter 599: Tie-Breaker

The spatial arena reformed instantly, expanding wider this time as if the layer itself anticipated destruction.

Volcanic Dogshit stepped forward first.

His bronze body still radiated residual magma from the previous round, cracks along his torso glowing brighter than before. The defeat of his brother had not diminished him. If anything, it sharpened him. Heat rolled off him in visible waves, distorting the air.

Beside him, the slimmer bronze figure stretched lazily.

Purple-gold flames licked along his shoulders and down his bare chest, curling like serpents before dissipating into embers. His eyes glowed a deep violet.

"Eggplant Shit?" Natalia tilted her head. "Or do you prefer Purple Garbage?"

The slim bronze man smirked. "You’ll be screaming something else soon."

Kayla stepped up beside Natalia.

Her armor was repaired, but quieter now. The emerald sheen had deepened into darker tones of forest green and muted gold. The branch-extensions behind her flexed once, slow and deliberate. The arena floor beneath her feet began to sprout moss again.

Above them, Volcanic Dogshit slammed his fist into his chest.

The arena shook.

Magma surged outward in expanding rings.

Eggplant Shit lifted one hand and snapped his fingers.

Purple-gold flame sigils ignited across the sky like constellations coming alive. Each sigil rotated slowly, dripping fire that did not fall but hovered, waiting.

"Separate them," Volcanic Dogshit growled.

He vanished.

Reappeared directly above Kayla.

A double-fisted hammer strike descended like a falling volcano.

Kayla’s branch-extensions snapped upward in a cross-guard. Root-metal collided with molten force, and the impact detonated downward, driving her into the arena floor again. Stone liquefied on contact.

Natalia moved instantly to intercept—

—but a wall of purple-gold flame erupted between her and Kayla.

Eggplant Shit drifted lazily through the fire.

"You’re mine."

He flicked his wrist.

The hovering flame sigils detonated into streams of violet fire that curved unnaturally, moving like intelligent serpents. Each stream split into smaller lashes mid-flight, weaving through the air with predatory precision.

Natalia spun her baton.

Dozens of instruments reformed around her in a tight, high-speed ring. Cymbals clashed. Violins screamed into sharp crescendos. Brass horns blasted concentrated bursts of sonic force.

The first wave of violet flame met a wall of vibrating resonance.

Fire twisted.

Bent.

But did not vanish.

Eggplant Shit grinned and snapped again.

The flames changed color mid-battle, shifting from violet-gold to deep ultraviolet. The resonance barrier began to crackle under the altered frequency.

"He can adapt attributes mid-stream," Almond murmured below.

Natalia’s eyes sharpened.

She shifted tempo.

The instruments accelerated into a faster rhythm, layering new harmonics over the old. Sound-waves wrapped around the flames rather than opposing them, subtly altering their pitch and destabilizing their core pattern.

She thrust her baton forward.

A spear of condensed sonic-light tore through the flame field and shot toward Eggplant Shit’s chest.

He tilted his head.

A purple-gold wing of fire unfolded behind him and intercepted the strike. The sonic spear detonated, scattering sparks and embers across the sky.

Meanwhile—

Kayla erupted from the crater.

Her armor darkened.

Where vibrant bloom once dominated, decay now pulsed stronger. Blackened vines lashed outward, draining heat from the molten ground and converting it into dull, ashen frost along their surfaces.

Volcanic Dogshit laughed and stomped again.

A geyser of magma engulfed her.

For a moment, she vanished inside liquid fire.

Then the magma blackened.

Withered.

A skeletal tree burst upward from within the molten pool, bark charred but alive. Kayla stood atop it, visor glowing amber.

She extended both arms.

The tree split into dozens of root-spears that shot toward Volcanic Dogshit from every direction.

He met them head-on.

Molten fists tore through the first wave.

The second wave pierced his shoulder and thigh.

He roared.

Magma exploded outward in a radial blast, burning away half the incoming forest in a violent halo of incandescent debris.

Kayla did not stop.

Her branch-extensions anchored into the air itself, stabilizing her as she drew deeper from the life-death cycle. The arena floor oscillated wildly between bloom and decay, forcing Volcanic Dogshit to fight on unstable terrain that alternated between molten eruption and crumbling ash.

Back above—

Eggplant Shit surged forward at last.

Purple-gold fire wrapped around his arms like living dragons. He blurred through Natalia’s outer formation and struck with brutal precision.

One fist grazed her side.

The impact carried condensed flame and gravitational compression.

She was launched sideways, instruments scattering briefly before reassembling around her in defensive orbit.

He pressed.

Flame blades extended from his forearms, slashing in rapid arcs that carved through harmonic barriers faster than before.

Natalia slid backward mid-air, baton spinning in tight patterns. Her formation condensed tighter, fewer instruments but denser resonance. Each clash between flame blade and sonic barrier created rippling shockwaves that rattled the arena.

"You adapt fast," she said calmly.

"I evolve faster," he replied, driving both flame blades downward in a cross-slash.

The barrier shattered.

He lunged through the opening—

—and collided with a sudden surge of light.

Natalia had shifted.

All remaining instruments fused into a compact luminous array behind her back. From it, layered beams of white-gold sound erupted point-blank into his torso.

The blast hurled him across the arena, crashing into a floating section of barrier before rebounding mid-air.

Below, Volcanic Dogshit finally broke through Kayla’s biomechanical forest, incinerating a massive tree construct with a two-handed magma crush. He shot upward toward Natalia’s position, magma wings spreading wide.

But Kayla rose again.

Roots spiraled upward from the ground and latched onto Volcanic Dogshit’s legs mid-flight. She yanked downward with brutal force, slamming him back into the arena floor in a crater of molten ash.

Natalia and Kayla locked eyes for half a second.

No words.

Just understanding.

They switched.

Kayla surged upward, branch-extensions unfolding fully. Decay-energy laced her claws as she intercepted Eggplant Shit mid-air, her strikes trading against his flame blades in rapid succession. Green-black arcs collided with violet-gold flares in violent bursts of steam and light.

Natalia descended toward Volcanic Dogshit.

He rose from the crater with a savage grin.

"Again?"

She smirked back.

"Again."

Magma pillars erupted around her.

She answered with rolling shockwaves of bass-heavy resonance that fractured the pillars before they could fully form.

He charged.

She met him.

Fist collided with the harmonic shield, sending tremors across the entire colosseum.

Above them, Kayla and Eggplant Shit spiraled through the sky, forest, and flame, intertwining in chaotic patterns.

The battlefield split into two raging fronts.

Magma versus symphony.

Decay versus inferno.

Shockwaves overlapped, detonations stacking atop each other as the spatial barrier flickered violently under the sustained strain.

Below, Almond folded his arms, eyes sharp.

"They’re syncing."

Natalia’s harmonic pulses began subtly aligning with Kayla’s bloom-decay cycles. Each sonic burst amplified the moment of decay, and each resurgence of life stabilized Natalia’s resonance field.

Volcanic Dogshit noticed.

He roared and unleashed a massive volcanic eruption that swallowed half the arena in molten chaos.

Eggplant Shit responded simultaneously, igniting a descending rain of purple-gold meteors.

The sky turned incandescent.

Kayla’s forest burned.

Natalia’s instruments flickered.

And yet—

Both girls stood.

Power building.

Breathing steady.

Refusing to fall.

The arena trembled as all four combatants drew deeper, preparing their next decisive clash.

"Damn!"

"Never thought I would see such an intense clash in a fight between Tier-4 and Tier-10."

"Those two girls must have crazy decks."

"They wouldn’t win, I think."

"Keep your shitty opinion to yourself, mate. The tie-breaker has just begun. That girl with a fancy suit and life and death power is cooking something."

"You think she evolved a card while meditating just now?"

The audience watched with rapt attention and thrill.
