Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 1032: Original World?

Chapter 1032: Original World?

The moment he reappeared in the regular universe, Rael glanced around, making sure nothing was off just yet. It was hard to tell, since for the first time in a long while, he was completely lost.

What was he even supposed to be looking for? Uriel had mentioned that there was some kind of quivering whenever someone passed through that Era, but he didn’t even know how to detect that certain Era.

So with that in mind, he turned toward someone who could potentially know more.

Gaia manifested beside him, her brows slightly furrowed.

“You’ve got a knack for making people turn against you. Now this especially is bad…”

“Tell me something I don’t know,” Rael said, then turned to his side once more as another figure manifested. That figure was none other than Megatron, and from the looks of things, he too had something on his mind.

“My liege, I was thinking that you might be able to try rewinding the time of all the Realities? Wouldn’t that technically fix the issue?”

“No.” Gaia cut him off immediately. “Eras and Realities differ slightly. If it’s already in a whole different timeline, then the odds of such a measure working are minimal. After all, by turning back time, we’ll singlehandedly break their loop. What happens afterwards is completely unpredictable.”

Hearing that, Rael let out a sigh. He was most afraid of those people being some kind of hive mind, just like Uriel Ark mentioned. After all, if they could copy his powers and even act just like him, then what was he supposed to do?

Could he defeat thousands of beings that had the same level of power as him?

Of course not.

He wasn’t that special.

“Welp… I guess we’re not left with much choice then. Let’s scout out the area of the Dream Realm that I had deleted,” Rael said.

Before anyone could say a word, Rael added:

“Yes, I’m aware it’s dangerous, but it’s more dangerous to be unprepared. I’ll meet you two there.”

With that, Rael closed his eyes and vanished. He half expected that he wouldn’t be able to send his consciousness into the Dream Realm, but as it so happens, he was able to not only send his consciousness in there but also send his entire body here.

It was a neat little trick, probably courtesy of being the Ruler of Everything. Still, when he appeared at the place he had deleted, he found that it was some kind of cave with a bunch of markings across the walls.

Sure, it looked like a shithole at a glance, but he could feel danger everywhere he looked. In short, he would most likely die if he took a wrong step, so instead, he decided to float. Just then, Gaia reappeared inside his mind, yet remained oddly quiet.

As for Megatron, he was also right behind Rael, floating carefully, making sure that he wouldn’t get both of them killed.

And so for the next couple of minutes, that was all they did, crossing the gap, until finally, Rael stopped, seeing a deep darkness in front of him. It contained a fair bit of mana, but nothing too special.

But then, there was also something far beyond it that didn’t quite make sense to him.

It was a planet, one that looked much like Earth. Except that planet had no mana or anything for that matter. It was an odd one… How would the powerful beings come from there to here and have that much strength?

That didn’t make sense at all!

[Hmm… Have you ever heard of transmigration?] Gaia asked.

Rael rolled his eyes. How do you think I first appeared in this world? I transmigrated.

[I know. I’m just saying that this seems strange to me. That world is definitely not special, and there isn’t anything special going on. What if it’s like a Conceptual World? Essentially, a world where beings and Concepts stem from,] Gaia replied.

Afterwards, she manifested herself in front of him and then leaned into the Era ahead. She didn’t disappear, nor did anything happen for the short span of a few seconds. That was when she stepped back and let out a sigh.

“It’s plain, and there’s nothing beyond. It’s definitely as I expected…”

Rael raised a brow and checked for himself too. The world up ahead was… Well, a normal world. It had humans living in it, and several dozen beings working and writing stories, much like how it was in his old world.

But unlike his world, this one had some semblance of normality in it. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but it was weird. He glanced over every being present and eventually located a being that didn’t quite make sense to him.

It was an author. Not a very popular one, but someone whose story seemed to be very, very similar to what Rael had been doing right about now. He thought it was a coincidence at first, but just then, that very same author looked up at the sky.

Through all the buildings and the clouds, it seemed like they had locked eyes. Rael was left shocked and startled, but before he could say a word, the author suddenly looked back at his computer and turned it off.

With that, the author went to sleep. As for Rael, he just stared at the man for a little while longer before taking a few steps back, cutting off his connection with the world ahead.

Just then, instead of there being some kind of massive commotion, or anyone actually coming through, the gap in space that revealed that world slowly began to close.

Rael wasn’t sure what to do. On one end, he wanted that gap to stay, since he was extremely curious about what was on the other side. But… He also knew better than to bite off more than he could chew.

Therefore, Rael took a few steps back and proceeded to watch in complete and total silence alongside the others.
