Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 1033: The First Kiss

Chapter 1033: The First Kiss

It took a bit longer for the rift to close than he thought, but it was finally done. There was nothing ahead… Nothing that could tie what just happened back to any of this.

“Wow…” Rael clutched his head, more so out of annoyance than anything. “You said this is the Concept World?”

“Most likely,” Gaia replied. “It doesn’t directly control what we do, but, well, it’s most likely how most of us came into existence. It’s similar to the stories of how ancient Gods used to come into existence.”

“They would garner followers, and once they had enough tales about their name, their power would grow. If everyone forgets them, they fade out of existence… Something like that,” Gaia added.

Rael nodded with a sigh. “I see. Well, I guess it doesn’t concern me much anymore. Though, I was a bit surprised to see how someone writes about me. It’s pretty plain and shit, but it’s still nice.”

Gaia shrugged. “Whether it’s trash or not doesn’t matter. That world, we weren’t even supposed to see. Moreover, I’m pretty sure that with that Era having closed just now, it will never reopen. I can’t feel it anymore, nor can I find it anywhere with my Clairvoyance.”

Rael tried too, and he couldn’t. That world, although it existed, was nowhere to be seen. But still, to think that Uriel Ark got so close… What would’ve happened if he had entered that strange realm and ransacked it, or killed everyone?

No, did this just mean that every single being that came from that world, and every single being that was supposedly a ‘hivemind,’ was just someone else’s creative creation?

Heh.

Well, Rael still didn’t have all the facts, nor did he know if someone had managed to come through this opening. But all he could do at the moment was appreciate how all of this really worked.

Regardless, Rael went ahead and cleared his mind of the bad thoughts, and then turned around.

“This was trippy.”

Gaia nodded. “It was… I’m not even sure what to call that place. World of Concepts? Original World? Ehh…”

“Just don’t call it anything. It’s not like we’ll see it anytime soon,” Rael said, and after patting her on the shoulder a few times, he teleported all three of them over to some random planet in the middle of the universe.

There were a couple of farmers sitting idly by, not paying either Rael, Gaia, or Megatron any attention. This was one of those worlds that didn’t really have mana, but they seemed to be doing alright for themselves.

Still…

“My liege, are we not going to pursue this matter any longer?” Megatron asked.

Rael turned to him, then shrugged.

“If we could do anything, or if we needed to do anything to begin with, we would. But there’s nothing.”

“I see…” Megatron took a deep breath, then exhaled loudly. “In that case, I’ll move on, my liege. But I do have to ask, what’s my purpose now?”

Rael clicked his tongue. “I don’t quite care. Just do whatever you want. Go find a wife, get married, and have children for all I care. I know I created you with the capability to shapeshift into whatever you want, so you don’t have to stick with this current form of yours.”

Ah.

“But one more thing, make sure the woman loves you. Also, no killing the husband and replacing him. That is taboo. If you do it, I’m going to make you suffer for all of eternity. Understood?”

Megatron gave him a quick bow and then vanished out of sight. By the time Rael located him, he was already on the other side of the universe.

Letting out a chuckle, Rael turned over to Gaia. She was observing the farm up ahead, and from the looks of things, she had noticed the children running around too, since she was staring at them as well with a faint smile.

“What’s on your mind?” Rael approached her.

She turned to him. “Mm? Nothing. I was just sharing your usual depressive nature. I thought I had learned to just stay in the present, but it seems like I accidentally looked into the future too. It’s glum, maybe? I can’t quite tell what I want anymore.”

Rael tilted his head. “I mean, just do whatever you want, I guess. Speaking of, I think Zafira’s going to give birth next week… I’m a bit nervous.”

She let out a chuckle. “Nervous of what? There’s nothing to be nervous about. You’ll be a good father, since you’ve already done everything a bad father would, so you know what to avoid, right?”

Uhh….

Well, that was one way of looking at it.

“I guess so.” Rael sighed, then looked Gaia up and down.

Their relationship progress was pretty rough. They didn’t make much progress at all, so Rael decided to just try something out.

He suddenly leaned in, and before Gaia could even process what was happening, or read his mind to anticipate it, Rael placed a kiss on her lips before backing away.

Dazed, Gaia stared at his back, not being able to utter a word. On the other hand, Rael admired that her lips tasted like strawberries. Her heart beat extremely fast, much faster than even when they were fighting.

Letting out a chuckle, Rael went ahead and walked toward the town up ahead, leaving Gaia in the middle of the road. He didn’t feel bad about it; he just knew that the way it was going, they would never get together.

And it was already obvious that not only was he interested in her, but she was also a little interested. She just didn’t know how to approach him or do anything for that matter.

So a kiss, in his book, was a way to start everything off. Chuckling again, Rael went up to a food stall, and since he already knew what was going to happen, he made sure to buy an extra snack for a certain someone who was already stomping toward him.
