Chapter 664: Committing Another War Crime [ 2 / 2 ]

Chapter 664: Committing Another War Crime [ 2 / 2 ]

Hearing Rael’s words, Reili immediately tried to break out, but with Rael using the Law of Blood to pin him down and the Law of Magma to melt his blood, it was not only gruesome but effective.

Regardless of that, though, Rael wasn’t too worried and decided to immediately start doing what he had set out to do.

And that was to turn Reili into his construct.

Rael smiled in satisfaction at the items he had just created.

They were by far his greatest creation.

After all, their limits weren’t defined.

As long as someone healed, they would continue to gain power and HP.

The same applied to movement speed.

It was by far the most overpowered thing he had made too, as he would most likely create the fastest construct in the universe just like that.

And yes, Rael decided that instead of getting a powerful attacker, he’d get a healer.

And so, he quickly moved on.

<Ding!>

<Possibility found!>

<WARNING!>

<You are committing a universal taboo!>

<If you choose to go through with this act, you will be seen as the enemy of every single being above the universe!>

Rael saw those pop-ups and simply shook his head.

At this point, he couldn’t care less about how many enemies he made, since he knew that by the time the war happened, he’d already be on everyone’s blacklist.

So he ignored it and moved on.

<You are unable to activate the full effects of the Marionette Forge skill.>

<You have added a Plasma Core to the main components.>

He couldn’t add any ores of emotions, but it was fine.

After all, a Plasma Core was enough.

<Notice: Absolute Architect will be utilized to designate the Marionette’s Primary Race.>

<Using saved data...>

<Primary Race: Prism Sovereign>

<Secondary Race: Calamity Demon>

<Would you like to activate the Marionette Forge skill? Yes / No>

Reili’s resistance increased, but the moment Rael pressed "Yes," it all stopped.

He simply returned to the pool of blood he had been in a moment ago, and just like that, Rael backed off slightly.

Steps of Rebirth were cancelled, and soon enough, Reili’s body began to regenerate.

When he was once again in one piece, Rael noticed how hollow his eyes were.

He really had done something cruel.

But then again, Rael was used to committing war crimes, or... this would be considered a universal crime by now.

Regardless of that, he watched as Reili’s body underwent a slight transformation.

His hands and feet were cut off, replaced by the robotic parts Rael had made.

And just a few minutes later, Reili snapped out of it, then glanced at Rael.

He kicked off the ground and tried to attack Rael, but right as he was about to hit him, Reili’s body froze in midair.

He frowned deeply.

"What have you done to me?"

"Nothing much. Let’s just say you’re on my side now," Rael replied. "You’ll be my construct that heals for all eternity. That’s the least I can do for someone who made Lilith’s life a living hell."

Reili’s brows twitched, but before he could respond, Rael imagined him shutting up, and he did.

Then Rael went ahead and decided to glance over at his status screen.

???

Well shit.

Rael couldn’t see anything.

Though it was clear that Reili was much stronger now.

But he was also under Rael’s control.

It was good.

In fact, it was perfect.

Rael approached him and tapped him on the head a few times.

He didn’t resist.

"Slam your head into the wall," Rael said.

Reili flashed a reluctant expression, but then his body creaked over to the wall as he smashed his head into it.

He didn’t protect his head in the slightest, so it burst like a balloon.

But since he was now a pocket healer, he healed himself in an instant and then glared at Rael.

Rael didn’t mind it.

Reili would become his puppet.

Someone eternally loyal to him.

That was the plan.

And so, with that plan in mind, Rael waved at Reili.

"Go find both of us the two items. They should be nearby."

The moment Rael uttered those words, Reili vanished out of sight.

A few seconds passed, and then after a whole minute, Reili returned, holding two toy bananas.

He handed one to Rael and kept one for himself.

"Good job."

"..."

Just like that, the two of them proceeded to stay in place.

Rael smiled to himself and decided to relax for the time being.

After all, he had passed the test, and with the remaining siblings far away, he had no reason to approach them.

Though he was sure that this was the second to last match.

And since the next one would be the last match, Rael needed to massacre the others.

Rather...

Since I’m here... I can speed up my own time in my time domain and stock up on Plasma Cores.

Unethical as it may be...

If he could collect Grade 8 or Grade 9 beings as reinforcement, then his odds of winning the war were that much greater.

But of course, this whole fiasco wasn’t just about himself.

So of course, he decided to get Lilith’s input on it too.
