Re-Awakening: I Became a Pay To Win Boss Monster

Chapter 775: Walk

Chapter 775: Walk

When Rael entered, he felt like the atmosphere was a lot better than when he left.

Not only had Altros and Melissa made up, but they were also laughing with one another.

More surprisingly, Altros was flicking his fingers and causing miniature flames to appear.

Melissa matched that with some ice spears and even a few wind blades.

In a way, it seemed like the two of them had figured out how mana worked, and because of that, Rael was more than satisfied with what he had done here.

Though...

"What are you two thinking of doing now?" Rael asked, leaning on the doorframe.

Altros turned to him.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean exactly that. What are your plans moving forward?"

He paused for a moment, pondering over Rael’s words.

"I guess... I don’t know? Does it matter if we don’t have a clear goal in sight? Honestly, I kind of just want to run around and kill some monsters. There will be plenty of those now that the world has become like this, right?"

Rael let out a slightly annoyed sigh.

"If you say so. Though, just so you know, the world has changed before you. Do not do something stupid, and wait until you know the rules."

After all, the last thing Rael wanted was for Altros to break some kind of new rule and then get killed for some stupid reason.

Thankfully, Altros seemed to understand that, so he just patted Melissa’s head and nodded at Rael.

"Alright. Though, could I ask you something?"

Rael shrugged, and Altros took that as agreement.

"Just how strong are you? I was a bit curious, since I realized you could literally travel across universes and stuff."

Heh.

If only Rael had the answer to that kind of question.

In reality, he did not.

He had no idea how strong he was in the grand scheme of things, but he did know that if he were to fight against Nyx right now, she would absolutely destroy him, and he would not stand a chance.

The same went for some of the other beings he had met.

Though...

"I’m pretty strong."

That was enough.

Altros grumbled at the vague response, but even so, he nodded at Rael once again.

"In that case, can we leave already? You unfroze time, so there must be a bunch of panic happening. I want to look for some cool stuff while the others are busy."

"Me too," Melissa chimed in with a cheeky smile.

Seeing the duo, Rael felt like he could not refuse, so he just moved aside.

In the next instant, Altros strode forward confidently.

On the other hand, Melissa stood up, wobbled a bit, then after getting her footing, she managed to take her first steps and eventually broke out into a run.

She recovered really fast, and she did not linger on Rael either as she approached Altros and walked down the hallway with him.

In a way, Rael felt like he was a father sending his kids off on their first day of school.

It was a very important day for them.

And Rael was sure that with how much he had helped them, they were going to do well regardless.

Perhaps they might even become the strongest in the world.

While that was happening, Rael’s constructs were constantly working on redesigning the Sketa Online gear, and of course, since the constructs had plenty of marketing knowledge, Rael was sure they were going to bring Sketa Online back and make it much more popular than before.

Rael kind of wanted to linger around longer and perhaps chat a bit with Altros and Melissa. Maybe even watch them get their first kills.

But he also felt like the time for babysitting was over.

So with that in mind, Rael walked back into the hallway and turned to Vatyra, who was still eating the turkey leg without saying a word.

He raised his hand and lowered it, causing a small spatial crack to appear, leading back to Celestara.

Although it was small, it was much more stable than before.

And so, Rael just gave Vatyra a quick nod, and without hesitation, he stepped through the portal, arriving back in the same place he left.

A moment later, Vatyra appeared as well, and the portal closed immediately.

"Well, that was kind of fun," Vatyra said. "Though, considering you brought me, I thought you were going to ask for some hand holding."

Rael rolled his eyes.

"As if. Do not get ahead of yourself, turkey woman."

"Turkey woman? Did seeing those two ruin your sense of insults?" Vatyra replied, puzzled. "I feel like you could hit me with something more original. But if that is all you have got, I am afraid this turkey woman is going to leave."

Since he was not in the mood to deal with her teasing, he just waved her off and glanced up at the sky, where Uriel, Nyx, and the dragon were flying around.

Just then, Uriel spotted Rael.

In the next instant, Uriel’s figure blurred as he suddenly reappeared in front of Rael, wearing a massive smile as he leaned in for a hug.

Surprised by his initiative, Rael returned the hug with a smile.

"Welcome back, father."

"Father...? You have grown so much that you stopped calling me dad?"

Uriel chuckled.

"Would you prefer me to call you dad or papa?"

Rael thought about it for a moment, and when a shiver ran down his spine, he knew that was definitely not what he wanted.

"Never mind..."

"Uriel, what have you been up to?" Rael asked. "Ignoring the dragon and lazing around, obviously."

Uriel smirked.

"I learned the history of this world. Also, mother and aunt told me about the history of this universe. I also learned that the angels, much like myself, are not really a part of father’s forces..."

He lowered his head slightly.

"I am sorry in their stead. I promise I will try to liberate them when I see them."

"Uh...? Yeah, you have matured quite a lot, have you not?"

Much more than Rael realized.

And more importantly, he was not there for any of it.

So at least now...

"Uriel, what do you say the two of us take a walk?"
